This candle shop is absolutely beautiful with a charming rustic feel the moment you walk in. The space is cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and filled with the most wonderful scents without being overwhelming. The candles are high quality, long-lasting, and clearly made with care. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and conveniently located on 4th Ave. I first heard of this place when I was gifted a candle from here. I liked the unique candle and soon made this my go to candle place for birthdays, something small, or thank yous. They have varying sizes for a reasonable price. There are also bath bombs and other candle accessories. They also have wrapped the candles for me which was a plus! read more

I truly love this this place. I love that I can walk in and get a hand made candle of any size and price. I just bought some small candles along with incense matches that are always my little gifts for my daughter. They aren't just limited to candles. They carry all types of holders for said candles, incense, incense holders, and soaps. I'm sure I'm missing some items, but this is usually what I go in for. So far I haven't ever had a bad experience shopping here. Everyone is so nice and helpful. When on 4th Ave and stop in even if candles weren't on your list. read more

Best place to get candles in the Southwest! The owner of the shop, has such great taste in scents, and stocks the shop with the cutest items! If I ever need a gift for someone, or myself, I know that I will be able to find something here. read more

Person working there was very nice. Helpful where needed but not in your way at all. I felt very comfortable browsing for as long as I liked. Great selection of candles and soaps. Love the smell!!! read more

This Shop is on fiiiiiire! Seriously, this place is insanely awesome and so is the owner Monica. Rustic Candle Company has been making hand-crafted candles for 10 years and thriving! Candles of every shape, size, color and scent are made on the premises. Shocking, right? It's such a tiny little shop with an enormous selection and soooo much to look through. Monica is as sweet as pie and gladly helped me pick out some holiday candles and also showed me her work space. It's impressive that she can make so much product and high quality in her little workshop. I think that candles make for great gifts and there's no better place to shop locally for a candle, or candle holders, wall sconses, votives, trays and more than at this charming store with old world craftsmanship....literally :) And as if this place couldn't get any cooler, you can also drop off your candle "leftovers" and Monica will recycle them into a brand new candle! There's an entire shelf dedicated to the recycled product. You'll find anything from multi-colored to glittery candles in this section! Plus, you can receive $0.50 per pound of wax in store credit and put it towards your next purchase. But please be mindful and don't drop off old candles/wax that have been sitting outside and have dirt and bugs in the mix. I can't wait to light my lime-vanilla candles! Next purchase will be Cranberry-Pomegranate and Mexican-Vanilla candles. As Eric G yelps: "Hoorah for local business!" read more

So happy I came across this shop on 4th ave! They have soooooo many beautiful smelling candles. Just walking into this shop you feel so calm. I could stay in there forever looking at all the different things (candles, soaps, bath bombs, candle holders, etc) The candles are actually pretty fairly priced and high quality! I decided to pick up some votive candles today, tons of scents to choose from at only $1.25 (somewhere around there) a piece. Let me just say the scents are ALL amazing, and I'll definitely admit I'm picky with candles but you really can't go wrong here. The burn is even, which I LOVE, and it burns for quite some time! The scents are not too overpowering but for sure noticeable! I can't wait to go back. I told my bf from now on for any occasion (birthday, Valentine's Day, groundhogs day, basically any excuse lmao) I want a new candle! read more

Hoorah for local business!! Get your candles here knowing that they were made as locally as possible--in the back of the store. Scents available for all tastes, err, noses. And boy do they smell good! And that smell will last and last. Yeah, the prices are higher than at other places, but again, this is a small, LOCAL business. I'd rather give them a little extra if it keeps shops like this around. And really, the candles seem to last longer than those you'd get from some box store. All sorts of other candle-related items available as well. 4th Ave scores again! read more

Went to Tucson yesterday and we walked around and stumbled on this great little store. The employee behind the counter was very nice and Gabe me his card. I bought some coconut fragrance for my CPAP machine that I want to try out. He explained how to take out the roll ball if I needed to. I saw havdallah candles there and if I need one I now know where I can get one if needed. I'm happy they take phone orders / internet orders and might try it in the future. Great selection of incense!! read more

The bath bombs here are no joke. I bought the lovespell bath bomb and I have never had a bath bomb actually work like these. The smell stayed on my skin for the day and actually felt like my skin was moisturized after using it. It also has made my bathroom smell wonderful so far. Do recommend read more

A local slice of heaven. If you love hand crafted, zen, spiritual, candles, incense, wind chimes and the like, you have to visit this store. It is small, but a pure delight! Monica is a doll too! I've been searching for a travel wind chime for quite some time and hers are of the best quality and tuned. This is one of those stores that you dream stays around forever. So many of these gems have been taken away because of Amazon. Please shop locale and keep fabulous shops like this open! read more

This is a great little candle shop that we stop by when we're in Tucson. I particularly recommend the roundish candles on the back wall (bottom left, the last time we were in) for sconces. They have an indent where the candle fits over the little "spike" on the sconce, and they burn well without much leftover wax. Rustic Candle also has a decent selection of non-paraffin candles, plus a ton of cool candle accessories. read more

I wish I had unlimited money, because I would buy everything in this store and then I would wait until they got more stock, and buy some more. They make their candles onsite in the very back. Over the years I've purchased many of their candles and right now I'm working on a collection of star shaped candles in various sizes for myself as decoration. When I bring my items to the counter I'm always greeted with appreciation and my candles/glass are always wrapped carefully. I love so many of their candle scents (which I call flavors). Right now I'm head over heels for "Rain," "Desert Sage," and "Dragon's Blood." Rustic Candle has so many candle holders, and I want to own them all, but some of my favorites have always been the stoneware holders/plates with vibrant colors. The only downside is that the perfume smell inside this tiny shop can be overwhelming at times. It's a beautiful smell, but man is it potent! Lots of respect for this locally owned and operated candle store. read more

I love this little place on Fourth. The smell that greets you when you enter is heavenly. The candles, as has been said before, are made on site. You can even peek at the little workroom in the back- it's tiny! The prices are amazing considering that these are handmade, local and truly unique candles. Come on, a medium candle for 7.95 is such a deal! They have wonderful scents such as Mexican Vanilla and Nag Champa but also other quirky scents such as dirt and grass. The dirt candle smells like earth post-rain! Rustic recently started trying out stenciling their candles, available on one scent when I was there; I hope they continue this because the stenciled candles look so cute. I also have to comment on the shop itself-it is dark, moody, and has a very "gothic" feel to it. Amazing atmosphere! Great quality candles, great prices, and local-what else could one ask for? read more

Ordered online, they sent me the wrong items. Called them and they sent me the right ones ASAP.

We love shopping on 4th Ave. and Rustic Candle is one of our favorite stops. In fact, I don't ever remember shopping on 4th Ave. without making a purchase there. They have a great selection of candles and other items with some very unique decor items. I frequently buy votives, incense and drip candles at Rustic Candle. The prices are also very reasonable so you won't break the bank shopping for all your candle needs! read more

This is by far my favorite candle shop! I love how they make some of their own candles and because of that when you walk in it smells wonderful! What a great place to find and buy candles! As I was talking to Shannon who works there. She told me that the owner makes all the candles herself, and its all done in the back of the shop! I enjoying going there and smelling all the different kinds of candles! read more

As soon as you walk in the store. Very Friendly Environment. Lots to choose from. Come in and Enjoy

Very nice handles that are high in quality, at least from what I could tell. They had some crazy rustic candle holders on the wall. Service was non-existent, we walked in to two employees behind the counter and no one said anything to us. We looked around for awhile and I was amazed by the selection of candles and oils in the store. This is definitely the right place to stop if you need to buy a gift for someone who likes candles. Or it seems like candles are the right gift if you don't know what the heck to get someone or are lazy in your gift giving. Either way, this place holds true to its name. read more

Mo could run this place out of a cardboard box and I would still show up. I am glad that the Streetcar didn't destroy this business. What a fantastic local spot and the selection is immense. The quality of her candles and other crafts is second to none. read more

Was buying my candles on line and spending a fortune. Discovered Rustic Candle walking my dog and Emanuel, who assisted, did a stellar job in directing me towards some great purchases. Home made and obviously local along with incredibly low prices for excellent workmanship so had a great day finding this venue. A little bit like out of a Harry Potter movie as well. Sadly, they don't sell wands! read more

Monica the owner is absolutely wonderful. She works her ass off to make magic here and I don't know how I have ever bought candles anywhere else. Her products are absolutely fabulous. They smell amazing, last and have such fantastic character. Her charm as a business owner comes in how easy it is for her to make you feel like you matter. That warmth and care are amazing in any time but in these times it's even more wonderful. Please please please support!!! #rusticcandlepatronforlife (: read more

My husband ran out to get me a last minute going away gift for a co-worker that was leaving. I thought what better than a Rustic candle. I had bought three large ones there a few months before and really liked them. In fact, I need to replace one of my large ones now. Anyway, my husband waited outside their locked door for 15 minutes past the posted opening time and no one showed up. Because of time demands, he had to leave and go elsewhere to get the gift. Another person waiting had come all the way from the Philippines because they liked their candles and used to live here in Tucson and were back in town. I bet they would have liked to have stocked up. Very unprofessional, I will think twice before voting with my dollars for this local business again. read more

How can you not fall in love with a little boutique candle shop like this! Friendly & helpful staff, great selection, and you can tell a lot of the items are made right there in the back of the store. Perfect for that one of a kind unique gift. It's a small space, so watch where you step, and sometimes parking can be catch as catch can, but I usually combine this stop with a drink at the sandwich place next door, or the bar on the corner. Whenever I'm in town I have to stop in. read more

This place was a pleasant surprise! My dad came down to visit from Phoenix for a day so we spent some time walking around downtown and 4th and came across this little shop. We could smell candles just by walking close to it, and being a candle lover that I am, I knew I needed to stop to take a look. I had so much fun looking around and smelling all the candles. The shop was unique and super cute. The candles themselves have AMAZING throw. I will always go back to Rustic Candles when I need some pillar candles. I had such an awesome experience. read more
