I remember when I was still a new mom, I was so conscious about breastfeeding my daughter in public. Whenever I'm out with my baby, I would always bring feeding bottles and stored milk so I wouldn't have to breastfeed in public, or if I had to, I would go to the most secluded area I could find.
I love shopping for baby stuff in Rustan's at Alabang Town Center so I was really happy when I found out that they have a breastfeeding area inside their store. It's not just a nursing room per se, but more of a baby room. There's an area where toddlers can play and read, and a small crib where you can change baby's dirty nappy. I like that it feels more like a baby's room at a friend's house rather than a common room at the mall. And it's located inside Rustan's (near the Infants and Toys section) so I don't have to leave the department store area if I need to nurse my baby. read more
