There's a train inside this mall! And a carousel! And a ferris wheel, boat ride, roller coaster, bump cars, and one awesome playground in 2 mini amusement parks! Those three attractions were what drove me to beg my parents to bring to Festival Mall as a kid. Then after playtime I'd eat fried chicken at Carl's Jr. Good times.
Sadly, Carl's Jr. has long been closed. However, all the kiddie rides are still going strong, and my little brother loves them. It really runs in the family. While he's having fun with cousins, I like to go around and shop a little. There's a ton of furniture stores, clothing and shoe brands, tech stores, phone/laptop repair shops, every type of salon, restaurants, sports stores, pet stores, and hobby shops for geeks like me. If you don't want to walk all over the mall, there's a one-stop department store for all your needs. Festival Mall is pretty much complete.
It's just really sketchy here, to be totally honest. Hold on to your stuff and little kids tightly. The toilets suck. Also, the sound system in the cinemas is unbelievable...unbelievably bad, that is. Do NOT watch movies here, or basically walk around the mall alone. Super deliks, bro. I was completely oblivious to this fact as a kid, but now I see the truth. read more
