What a crook of a company. I scheduled an appointment for 9:00 AM, yet the technician showed up at…read more8:20 AM. At that exact time, I was getting ready to call and cancel because I had already troubleshooted the issue myself and confirmed my system was working normally, so the service was no longer needed. When I originally called, the only fee mentioned was a $120 diagnostic fee. There was no mention whatsoever of a no-show fee or a travel fee. Now they are trying to force me to pay a $59 travel fee, even though the technician arrived before the scheduled appointment time. To make matters worse, this fee was not explained to me until after they had already shown up. Completely unprofessional and misleading business practices.

Dennis was assigned to my house and he gave us a good estimate and then got the work done quickly and well. A couple of months later, my shower handle quit working and I called them and Dennis came by and fixed it that day. I also really liked that I was not given a sales pitch the entire time Dennis was in my house. He was friendly and easy to talk to.

Today I had Rich back to check the AC (an AC that Air Temp Solutions was always trying to upsell me on parts and services before I switched), he gave it a tune-up and made sure it was running. Alex Skolfield came to my tenants' home where they said the 2nd floor was not getting much cold air, and he spent an hour adjusting levers on the ductwork, and educating us on how to make sure the HVAC runs efficiently in the summer and winter. I have never had HVAC technicians who took the time to educate me (for free) and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. These guys are amazing - such integrity. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!…read more A few months ago, I called Done Right Plumbing for a clogged sink. The technician barely looked at the job for 30 seconds before giving me what I felt was an outrageous quote. After I posted a review, the owner contacted me and made things right, so I changed my review and decided to give the company another chance. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I recently had an emergency and needed my sewer ejector pump replaced. The technician quoted me $3,571 just to replace the existing pump with a new one. I had already agreed to the replacement when he came back and told me the owner wanted to replace all of the existing piping as well because they said a 2-inch line was needed to meet current code. I said no--and thank God I did. I found the same pump at Harbor Freight for $119. I called another plumber, who installed it in about 45 minutes and charged me $250 for the installation. My total cost: $369. Done Right's quote: $3,571. Difference: $3,202. I understand that businesses need to make a profit and that emergency plumbing work isn't cheap, but there is a huge difference between $369 and $3,571 for the same basic pump replacement. I gave this company a second chance after the owner made things right the first time. After this experience, there will not be a third.

There was some old, degrading wire that we discovered and needed to have removed/replaced. William contacted me quickly, reviewed photos of the job, and gave me a fair quote. A couple days later NMA came back from a trip and noticed part of his room had no power. I contacted them again and they advised they will be right out. These men are NOT certified or licensed. I repeat, they…read moreare NOT licensed. I urge you to look elsewhere. They hire out help from guys who are not licensed and will come to your home and quite possibly cause you more havoc than good. Ask them up front for licensing, insurance and if they are registered as electricians, plumbers, etc. The man who says that he is in charge is operating under the identity of another man listed as the business owner. They have different phone numbers and if you catch him off guard he will tell you his real name is either Lewis when his name is William :/ This young man sent out guys to my property that had no idea what they were doing. They tampered with both my electrical and plumbing and I had to have the work assessed by a professional and take pictures and make records of everything for legal reasons. It is very possible that many of these yelp reviews are from family and friends or paid third party. Be very careful who you let in your home. ALWAYS ask for their detailed paperwork and match it up with their driver's license if you have to. Whatever it takes because there is A LOT of fraud out here nowadays. I learned the hard way and I'm trying to help others not to have to. Wish you all the best in your home projects.
