We mistakenly thought this store was owned by Verizon, based on the outside signage. When we went in to use our iPhone insurance we were informed otherwise. Apparently we were not the first customers to ask about insurance support, as the clerk cheerfully gave us the phone number for Verizon insurance claims and told us how the entire process worked. Ripped off an elderly woman.. would not issue a refund on her new iPhone even though she returned it the day after purchasing. She found out she lives in an area where there is no cellular service. She had all her paper work, receipt, everything necessary for a return and refund, and Russell Cellular even recognized her account in their system but refused to issue a refund and continued to bill her. After a year of working with 2 managers and a district manager Russel Cellular continues to deny a refund and says they can do nothing. This is shameful. Stay away from this business. Stay away from this store! Deceitful practices. My wife and I have been Verizon customers for over 24 years. We had just gotten 2 new phones directly from Verizon but my wife's was not working correctly. We decided to stop in to see if they could fix the problem. Chris said that he could fix it. But he had to call someone else to consult with while he worked on her phone settings (as he obviously did not know how to fix it himself). After about 15 minutes, he told us it was fixed. He charged us $80 to fix her phone settings and transfer our contacts. When we got home, my wife's phone still did not work: she could not make outgoing calls nor receive any incoming calls nor texts nor messages. Instead everything came into my phone (and we have separate numbers) !!! I went back to Chris and politely asked for a refund, since he had not fixed the problem. He said he could not refund me, as that $80 was to activate the phones. That was a lie, as we had already paid the activation fee directly to Verizon when we fist got the phones. THE WORST EVER. BUYER BEWARE! They would get zero stars if it were possible. Russell Cellular is a dishonorable business with despicable business practices. They have repeatedly lied to both myself and a good friend of mine, who has been with Verizon for over twelve years. They made multiple promises that they never honored and charged us well over twice what our plan total was supposed to be for three months in a row. After months of requests and hours on the phone, they refused to honor the offer made to us, when adding an additional line to the account. We were told that the new phone (as advertised in the promotion) would be free, then added charges for it in the next three billing cycles. Because the manager tried to get us what was promised to us, they forbade him to assist us any further. What's more.....We were promised a check as a show of good faith that was never delivered. After three months of being run around, lied to and put off, we've had enough. One thing has become glaringly clear. The folks at Russell Cellular do not deserve our business. Regrettably, after a dozen years of showing loyalty, we are leaving them for another phone service. Received a response from Russell Cellular. "Hi Francis Motta. We apologize for your less-than-ideal experience. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about this situation. We will like the opportunity to look into this further. Service is AWFUL! I have an email offering a free phone if I add a line to my account. No such offer is available at this store. The representative was paranoid that I might see proprietory information on his computer? What proprietary information? Was he afraid that I would see the offers really available to me. Very rude. I have been with Verizon for over 18 years and am on the verge of changing providers. This is a authorized store not really a Verizon store. He said he can order me a phone but couldn't mail it to me it could only be mailed to his store. ??? WTH read more

Don't trust this store. Scott decided to add several different protection plans without telling me. I wanted to transfer a number and instead of doing it he created a new line. He also signed a payment contract for a device which I only discovered after he handed me paperwork at the very end. Had to contact Verizon directly to get my account fixed. read more

While my in-store experience was good, the salesperson, Laiesha (spelling?) made a mistake that led to me permanently losing many of the business contacts from my list of contacts in my phone. The first thing I told her was that I use my phone to store business contacts and notes and keeping that data was paramount to me. As soon as the data began transferring from icloud into my new iphone, she told me where I can donate my old phone. I asked if she was sure that all of my data was transferring over. She said "yes" and helped me to erase the data from my old phone. Later that night I searched my contacts and discovered that many of my client contacts were missing. I checked again the next morning and the contacts were still missing. I called this same Verizon location and was told that there is nothing they can do, since my old phone is wiped clean. They made no offer to make this right for me in any way. Their only suggestion was for me to call Apple to see if they can retrieve the missing data from icloud. The Verizon employee I spoke with told me that "that does not sound like Laiesha." "We tell people to keep their old phone until they are sure all their data made it through." Well...that is not what happened. It is not like the store was crowded with customers. There were six reps and two customers during the time I was there. She had time to ensure that my transfer was done properly, but did not do so. This is my first experience with Verizon, transferring data from one phone to another. Her mistake in not telling me to keep my phone and make sure all of my contacts made it through caused a huge problem for me. read more

Would give zero if I could, total RIP off Verizon store that is privately owned not a corporate store. They charge an extra $25 set up for success fee to start service ON top of the corporate $40 fee, yet they never explain that to you, we had 3 new lines we set up for $195 just to start service with them! Verizon corporate does not agree or condone this extra fee the store charges. Go elsewhere to a corporate Verizon store! Not to mention the bitchy salesgirl we had, and no regard at all to the COVID-19 standard precautions, very unprofessional, will never go to this store ever again!
