Three days later I get a call that it was ready. I have no clue what they did. When I arrived to pick it up I was told it had to go to the dealership because protech couldn't fix it. To complicate matters we bought a replacement rim because one of the rims on his car had a crack in it. So they needed to swap out the bad rim. My son had never dealt with getting work done on his car so he was a bit anxious (kids today aren't great communicators unless it is with other gamers on line). I showed up shortly after 8 on a Monday and they were already busy. Several people were in the waiting area/lobby and two were ahead of me in line. The staff worked quickly to get through every customer and in a friendly and professional manner. You can tell the owners really make an effort to be personable and make connections with their customers. My inspection lasted about 35 minutes and unfortunately I didn't pass. They explained every detail to me and called me later to provide a quote for the service. It seemed like the prices for parts and labor were fair. They were upfront with me when I asked a series of clarifying questions and helpful in determining the best path to take. I'll certainly be a repeat customer. Note: they do have dogs in the lobby/waiting area. So, if you're allergic or not fond of them, maybe find a different mechanic.

A sales associate told me he would be right with me, but then proceeded to help two other parties before me. I was not in a rush, but I felt ignored as a customer who was ready to purchase a vehicle that day. I could see other associates had no customers , but yet no one else could assist me After waiting for an hour, the associate told me he could not help me and had another representative, Kirk, assist with the test drive. Kirk seemed confused and bothered by the situation, so I had to explain my goals to him. I was only able to test drive one vehicle and was told I could just look at the other parked next to it, which did not help me make my decision. When I asked Kirk for the clear-cut price of the 2026 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD, he insisted on appraising my current vehicle. Although I explained that I was undecided on a trade-in and simply wanted the vehicle price, he became pushy and demanding and said rudely what difference does it make. My trade-in was appraised anyway, which I had specifically asked not to be done. Ultimately, I felt dismissed and talked down to. Kirk handed me a pricing sheet that was over $5,000 higher than other dealerships, and there was no further attempt to communicate with me or show me the other available inventory. I was dropping my daughter off at school just down the street and I must have driven over something while pulling into the school's parking lot because when I got out of the car to drop her off I heard a rush of air coming out of one of my tires. I started to panic not knowing what to do. This was also around 7 am in the morning so not much was even open. I ended up calling the Colussy Chevrolet service center which was thankfully open and they said I could bring it in. They quickly diagnosed and corrected the issue, and it only cost me around $20. Fast forward to today. I have a couple minor scratches on my car from a backing up incident over the weekend. I stopped by Colussy Collision center as it was on my way home and the manager, Tom, was kind enough to come out and take a look and give me his honest opinion which didn't even involve using their services. I'm glad I didn't need to use their services today but after my positive experience I know where I'll go if I ever do need more extensive repairs in the future!
