I give this appointment a 3 because the x ray tech was awesome, friendly and informative. However, the receptionist on the 4th floor working on November 8th at 8 am was horrible! I had a 8 am appointment for a x ray. I arrived at 7:59 am to check in and she told me to have seat. Keep in mind, I was the only person waiting.8:30 am rolls around and someone else came in to see the tech as well and was immediately called. so I asked her was there a problem and she asked my name again, did something on the computer and told they would call me shortly! The tech called me and I informed him what time I arrived and he told me that I was put in at 8:34 am!!!! She never admitted she made a mistake! I have had asthma for roughly 20 years. I have been going to rush for about 4 to 5 years roughly, and even in the past there were certain things I did not like about this place but up until now they are even worse. Do not go here. I needed a refill on my life-saving medication and so I booked an appointment which was a month and a half away got to the day of the appointment and 30 minutes before it they cancel it, then when I try to just have them give me one refill of the medication I need to survive. They don't call me back, they don't refill it and it's been over a week of trying to do so they literally don't even call me back and it has been an extremely frustrating. read more

I do not know who was the complete incompetent person who built the parking garage for this building, but every level leads to a dead end with the only way out it to back up around corners if no parking spots are on each level. The room to turn around your car feels like a joke straight from austin powers. If possible do not use the garage to park. Other then that the Doctors at rush are good. We pulled in for a few hours on a Saturday. We were charged $54 for parking. I can't afford $54 for 3 hour parking. The signs are awful. You don't notice that the parking is primarily for Rush patients. There were almost no cars since it was a Saturday and clinics are closed. It was bleeping ridiculous to be robbed by a health care organization. Totally non caring way to treat innocent Parker's. We were directed there by Waze which doesn't alert you that this is for Rush patients. There's no one to talk about it. I feel totally violated. read more

I've never been met with such unprofessionalism by staff in person and on the phone in healthcare. I've had a nurse joke about test results, no one reach out to me by phone about other test results and the following steps. Then when I called to ask for a call back from my doctor the nurse called me and eventually hung up on me. I take my 82 year old mom there. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Procedures are done by appointment and we've never waited long. Facilities are clean and brightly lit. I'd give them 5 stars accept parking is costly and inconvenient. It's behind the building, a sharp right into an alley and a sharp right to enter the elevated parking levels. I decided to revamp my medical history with a number of hospitals after developing a medical issue in July 2019. I went through months of unanswered questions, doctors avoiding me, unorganized facilities and lazy staff and workers. A good friend of mine recommended RUSH Medical. With nothing to loose, I scheduled an appointment with a GI doctor via web. He provided a good deal of information and insight. After he wasn't able to assist much, he properly guided me in the next direction he felt was appropriate. I met a pulmonary doctor, Diane K. Litwin, and she has been stellar. Very quick with responses and listens well. Presently, she works with me. Yesterday morning, I met with an allergen doctor, Payal Patel; now reviews on her weren't the best but I was hopeful. Dr. Patel is definitely an intelligent, gifted, good listener, thorough doctor. Although I am still on my medical journey, I can reassure that rush south loop (or RUSH in general) has amazing doctors despite the fact the world is going through a major pandemic. They make sure the place is clean 100% of the time. Every single staff member down to the darn security guard knows what the heck they're talking about and always has an answer to your question. The people are sweet and friendly no matter what time of day it is. I definitely recommend RUSH Medical south loop. read more

The first appointment I had at this Women's clinic was on 11/22/2019 was informative about a procedure I am wanting to have done. I had the appointment with Chasity Quinn. I arrived about 10-15 mins early for the 11/22 9:30 am appointment however the wait time goes about 30-45 mins past what is scheduled. This of course makes me late for work. Fast forward to the 12/6/19 procedure I am about 10-15 mins late due to many reasons. I did not deem this a huge detriment as I remember the long wait time for when I came early last time. I talk to someone at the front desk for assistance he says I am running late so they might cancel the appointment even if it is only by 10 mins. He calls one of Chasity's assistants(?) and tells me to sit down. I am sitting waiting impatiently for the decision for about 25 minutes. I go back to speak with man at the front desk who must have forgotten about me. However he has not received any response and he calls again to alert me Chasity will be cancelling my appointment. It is sad to know how out of touch these clinics are to reality. It is very easy for medical staff to disrupt patient's scheduled times and have long wait times however when it comes to them doing the same patients are quickly dismissed. It is also very bad judgement to assume that it will be very simple for me to schedule some more time to have this procedure done. This clinic is overall very unprofessional no one is helpful, even support staff. When trying to file a complaint the man at his desk said there is nothing he can do and said I should let Charity know about this situation. This is laughable...How responsible and helpful of him when he can't even reach her himself. He seemed to be an office manager. From support staff to clinicians there is a lack of accountability when it comes to accommodating patients. I also called Rush customer service to file the complaint and requested for the office manager to give me a call about this. I never received any call. My procedure has been delayed and will be delayed for months. Not a great experience at all, please do better!! read more

The facility itself is nice and pretty clean. But aesthetics will only get you so far. I have not had good experiences with the doctors there... specifically Dr Jean Lee. She is THE WORST "doctor" I've ever encountered. She took a paged call from me over the weekend, prior to a major surgery I was scheduled to get. I was afraid, had real and rational questions, and needed a calm and nice doctor. It was clear she was annoyed with me for her having to do her job on a weekend. She gave dangerously inaccurate advice and she was short and condescending to me... about my own body, of which I am a subject expert. Our conversation got so heated based because of her bad attitude, that I swore at her and hung up -- and I've never behaved that way with a doctor before. All of this while my medical needs were still never solved. I reported her to her boss and I never heard a thing back. Then I got a letter saying she "refuses to treat me any more". Um cool, not interested in your bad personality or your bad advice, Jean MD. I've also had horrible experiences with the doctors to whom she referred me. They were clearly fresh out of college and had no idea what they were talking about, yet still had the God complex going full strength. I think this location is where Rush dumps all their interns fresh off the university boat. read more

I had a great visit to Rush South Loop last week. We just moved back to the area and this location was in the process of being finished. It is right across the street from my building so it's a very convenient location! When the doors opened, I made my appointment online for my visit. Everything here seems to be very high tech. The online appointment very easy to schedule. I was able to search on doctor/specialty and availability. When I checked in, I was directed to one of the available kiosks... the last time I was at a physicians office, there was a line of patient service reps entering information as I gave it to them! Times have really changed! I would suggest getting here at least half an hour early if one is a new patient. There are a lot of questions. I was not able to finish in the suggested 15 minutes arrival time prior to the appointment. So I was given a tablet to complete the questionnaire! I was asked to make my copayment upon arrival. They accept credit cards (not sure about cash or check). I was led to one of the exam rooms by one of the very friendly medical assistants. He proceeded to ask me more questions (many are redundant with the new patient intake form). After all the queuing, he took my vitals (weight, blood pressure, etc.). I then waited for the doctor. Overall, very friendly and listened to my medical needs. He checked me out and gave me a couple of specialist referrals. The medical assistant came back and gave me my flu shot. I was then on my way! I came back the following morning for my lab visit. The phlebotomist was super friendly and talkative, which I think was intentional to keep me distracted from the blood draw. She's definitely good at her job! My lab results came back earlier this week, and they came through their MyChart portal (one has to register and set up a patient account). The doctor interprets and communicates the results via secure messages through this portal. The patient experience was excellent, convenient and efficient! Love Rush South Loop!! read more

Have had such good experiences from the time I enter the building, to check in and during medical visits at South Loop, 4th? FL. Very Courteous and pleasant staff with a nice waiting area. Everyone I have dealt with there is like that. I have had mammograms and related diagnostic tests done there. Mammograms at other facilities (done with care and by kind techs) were still extremely painful. For me, a visit to the dentist was preferable... However, the first mammogram performed at the South Loop location several years ago was virtually pain free & subsequent "mamos" VERY close to same. Mention of different equipment was made to me but did not seem that different . Experience & Technique by "Debbie" had to play a role! Sharing this now because I just needed to call today to reschedule a "mamo" (and was reminded of first great visit there.) ... when I called and spoke to "Cynthia" today, she was wonderful! She covered all the bases to ensure I didn't have any special needs or current issues, confirmed location, rescheduled me AND asked if I wanted to be put on a waiting list if anything opened up sooner... she was just very thorough, patient & pleasant. Even if these questions are off a checklist, she's doing a great job of using it so I wanted to give her a shout out! Keep up the great job! read more

I saw doctor Yepez in June for an annual check up. This office sent my labs to a facility out of my insurance network WITHOUT my consent, racking up $1,000.00 worth of bills..... for an STD check and pap smear. I've called to try and resolve these issues and no one seems to have any idea who to contact or what's going on. I've even gone into the office in person. No one has called back. No one cares. I'd also like to add that doctor Yepez had my check up performed by a student and it HURT. This office is full of scummy medical professionals that do not give one shit about your health. All they want is to steal your money. Go to planned parenthood and thank me later. read more

I can't write a review about my Dr.'s appointment yesterday at this clinic (mammogram) because I didn't have one. Why? The staff was over an HOUR late. I came early as instructed, checked in by myself on the kiosks, and sat down. Thank goodness I only waited until 10 minutes after my appointment to ask how far behind the doctors were, to learn that it was a full hour. UNACCEPTABLE. I canceled it and walked out. Doctors charge patients if they miss or cancel appointments too late all the time. I should send Rush an invoice for $50 for wasting MY time yesterday. All they had to do was call me. I am disgusted at the horrific experience I just had at Rush Southloop. This is my first pregnancy and my husband and I were elated to see the baby for the very first time. We came here for our very first ultrasound. They tell you to arrive 30 mins before your appointment time with a full bladder. Not sure why because we literally sat there the entire time not doing anything. No paperwork. No nothing. They actually didn't take us until 15 mins after the scheduled appointment time, so I just had to sit there for 45 mins in agony with a full bladder. When the technician, Meagan called us back, I gained excitement again anxiously waiting to see the baby. Meagan quickly ended that as she was soooooooooooooooo rude. Not an ounce of bedside manners. So dry with a bad attitude. Not sure if she didn't feel like being at work today, but she took away from the experience seeing my baby for the first time. You would've thought she was viewing a tumor on the monitor. No commentary as to what she was doing. Dead awkward silence when taking photos for the doctor. She rudely told my husband to sit down when he tried to view our baby on the monitor. Then she turns the screen around after 10-15 mins of dead silence just like ok you can see the screen now. Dry as the Sahara desert. No details provided or anything. To top it off, they didn't even print an ultrasound. When I inquired about one, the representative at the front desk was rude as well as if I was bothering him. He said they don't have a printer. This is a brand new modernized hospital operating in 2019! I can't even process they don't have a printer for baby ultrasounds. I'm just appalled by the whole experience. Everyone needs training. Everyone needs to go through bedside manners/ customer service 101. I will not be going here ever again, and frankly I'm not sure if I will be using other Rush locations for my pregnancy and delivery period. I hope this review saves other future parents from such a disappointing experience. read more

Full disclosure. I work on the Rush main campus and we have been to south loop for 2 medical appointments. We loved both of our providers and their staff members were kind, competent and personable. The facility is gorgeous. Bright and modern with cool lighting and USB/ AC outlets under the seats. Perhaps a bit sterile, but stylish and clean. Self check-in is cool. I'm more a fan of personal interaction, but an iPad works too. The Dove hot chocolate is a plus. read more

When I graduated from university, I was sad to leave the student health center and for good reason - it was an one-stop shop. Need a physical, check up, a dermatologist or gyno appointment, vaccines, lab work? Just schedule with the student health center. Good thing for Rush South Loop! They do it all in a top-notch facility with friendly staff all around. The medical assistants and doctors are plenty and have great bed-side manners. Their website is easy to use to schedule appointments with certain departments and to keep track of your history. They also provide free validated parking (up to 3 hours). Gone are the days I have to go to multiple locations or giant hospitals. Thank you Rush South Loop! read more

Rush South Loop is a very comprehensive medical and testing facility alternative to the main campus located on the near west side. New, sleek and modern, it is a joy to visit. And the Rush mychart app takes the experience to a whole other level. The app is just as comprehensive as the facility itself. The list of features too long to include in this review. But one is it allows you to drive or walk up to the facility and e check in from your smartphone on the street. By the time I parked and took the elevator up to the 4th floor waiting area, the Doctor's nurse was waiting for me as I exited the elevator. No wait time. At least not for me since I schedule early morning appointments. My doctor, Doctor Patricia Graham, was great. She's very patient and detail minded. I love Rush South Loop. read more

I have seen pediatricians and an allergist for my daughter at Rush Southloop office and I have been pleased with the level of care until I have an annual check up visit for myself in July. Dr. Patricia Graham was nice at the visit except she asked some tests such as blood based pregnancy test (FIY I had a period one week prior to the visit) and pap smear, which are not most comfortable tests. It turned out all tests were negative, not surprisingly. However, when I received the bill I was shocked and called insurance company. They said I may request a change to the doctor because the billing code is emergency visit not annual check up. Long story short, I spent over three weeks to reach to Dr. Graham's office and no call back. After leaving a bad google review about the doctor, I finally got a brief voicemail from the nurse. However, the voicemail made me even more upset because the doctor is making the case that the session was for medical treatment by implying that we are having followup sessions. We did not discuss anything about followup and my discharge paper work does not state anything emergent or any followup visits. Also I had an impression that she also view the visit as an annual checkup when she suggested pap smear. I almost feel that the doctor found loopholes for a more lucrative business at the expense of patients, not to mention how she ignored all the messages from customer service representatives that I have spoken to until I brought it up online. Probably this unfair bill should be on me despite all the appeals that I will make from now on thanks to her superior medical and insurance knowledge. This whole frustrating process made me think twice about place. I don't think I can trust doctors working here any more. read more

Just got back from an appointment there. It was my first time there. It was stunning. That was my first impression. Everything was high tech and very modern looking. Check in/registration was a breeze. They took my co-pay upon arrival. While waiting to be seen, they had a nice coffee machine where I got some coffee. My wait was maybe 3 minutes before i was taken back. My doctor C. Terrazas was great! Very nice and warm. I will now go back for any future doctor appointments I may have in the future due to the great, fast, and easy experience I had there today! Big fan of the South Loop location. I've always gone to the main campus, but parking, congestion, and wait times have always made the experience less enjoyable. I've been to the South Loop location about 4 times now and I'm trying to limit any visits to the main campus. The waiting area is open, they have coffee machines, express check in, free parking (and a lot of it). Even diagnostics is there, so CT, ultrasound. I just all around highly recommend it. read more

Scheduled an appointment for 2:30 MRI, arrived at 2:15pm and was notified that I needed to be there 30 minutes in advance of the 2:30 appointment, so they had to reschedule me. First of all, if you have to be there at a certain time then schedule the appointment in this case at 2pm. Secondly, if you don't make it clear to the patient that you need to be there 30 minutes in advance and you need to re-schedule, you should at least offer a sincere apology! Medical Institutions like Rush think that there patients are just lucky to be there and are not customers that have other choices for there medical care. I don't think that business attitude will serve them very well in the long run. read more

I recently moved to Chicago from Dallas and dreaded having to find all new doctors in a new city. I was referred to Rush South Loop by my insurance company and I could not be more thankful!! Aside from the extremely convenient location, and he building is brand new, beautiful and high tech! All the staff is so friendly and welcoming, there was no wait time or delay with my appointment (unlike any of my prior doctors that would sometimes have a delay of up to 45 minutes...). My new primary care doctor is AMAZING! She took the time to get to know me, had a great personality, recommended other highly ranked specialists for various specialty care, and explained how the patient portal works in case I have any urgent questions or requests that she can help me with. This sounds silly but having my annual physical exam this morning (on a Friday) completely set such a positive tone to my day and I am so excited to be a patient here going forward - something I would never normally say about having to go to the doctor. Definitely check this place out - I plan on recommending it to all of my local friends. read more

Rush South Loop is a clinic that in my opinion embodies the future of what ambulatory care is going to look like; and I love it. Easy parking in the indoor heated parking garage for those folks with cars; of which is easily validated. If your appointment is going to be over two hours or having multiple tests be prepared as the validation only covers two hours, however I wonder if they'd help you out with that if you spoke with clinic staff. Check-in is easy on the app at the front desk and staff is around to help you should you need it. The clinic is modern and clean. If you fill out the pre-appointment questionnaires all you need to do is show up, scan your QR code, or enter your name, and you're all set. There is even a nice coffee machine there for patients to use. I appreciate having both primary care providers and specialists available in the same building. I like this clinic so much that I actually look forward to my appointments here, and for a clinic or any health care institution that should speak volumes! read more

My primary care doctor who I really like is now staffed here. The offices are beautiful and modern and not to bad to get to from work (Downtown) or home (Bridgeport) and I would give it 5 stars except for the nursing staff who needs to step on their game and be s bit more lively and try to care. Rush Hospital has always been known for their caring nurses. A while back I was in their hands after a full surgery and I still think of how wonderful the nurses care was. I also had to get a blood draw recently at this office. Again the phlebotomist was devoid of any personality and actually asked for payment after I told her I had Illinois state care insurance which set me back.
