This group did a terrible job of handling basic intake correspondence and ultimately denied me service, for no apparent or stated reason, after jerking me around for a week. I'm ranking 2 stars because y'all never let me get as far as actually consuming the service you provide, so- one star would be a little precocious in my mind, but still- the people I was in contact with were grossly unhelpful & Elizabeth Duke- the clinical director I spoke with- was super unprofessional! After calling & getting no response, then emailing and going back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth with multiple people for a full week, just requesting an initial appointment & posing a handful of really basic questions (which were ignored repeatedly- like- it was as though I was getting sent multiple different form letters), Elizabeth finally offered me an appointment, which I accepted. However- she then turned around and glibly denied it to me with no explanation. It was super nonsensical & deeply frustrating. Sharing this experience so perhaps other prospective clients of this practice don't waste as much time as I did getting the run-around on patronizing this place.

Recently, we contacted them because our 11 year old son had been having behavior issues in school and we were interested in having him more formally evaluated to see what we might be able to do to better support him at school and at home. We were referred to Dr. Kerry Hasbrook, a licensed, clinical psychologist, who walked us through what the evaluation process would look like. She was so helpful, personable, approachable and very thorough. My son's teacher, my husband and I each filled out separate questionnaires regarding my son's history and current issues. She then spend at least 90 minutes with my husband and I and then about 3 hours with my son on a different day. Her final report/evaluation was very detail-oriented and full of solid recommendations for school and home. Even the school commented on how thorough the report was. Before we met with Dr. Hasbrook, we were truly struggling and not knowing exactly how to best support our son. Now, we feel hopeful and are confident that things are moving in the right direction. I would highly recommend Dr. Hasbrook's services- she established a great rapport with my husband, me and our son, and we feel her evaluation has helped our family get back on track.

I have sent several follow-up messages with zero response from both their customer care team as well as my former therapist. I had decided to stop therapy with IntraSpectrum after several months mainly due to my therapist often not following through on promised tools and aftercare work. This combined with the ongoing billing issue has made me seek therapy from a more reputable organization. I would steer clear of IntraSpectrum has I see there are other reviews detailing similar issues to mine. I just wished I had gong to Yelp before starting care with IntraSpectrum.

I did have great therapists here although I was abruptly emailed that I'd have to change therapists…read moretwice this summer because my current therapist was "no longer associated with the practice" I'd like to note that both therapists I had were fantastic, Bear and Zino. I loved working with each of them. But I'm concerned IntraSpectrum pushes out their best therapists. Both Bear and Zino were some kind of gender nonconforming which,as a nonbinary person myself, was a huge deal for me and very welcome. I wasn't given a reason for their departure so it's pure speculation on my part that they were both driven out. Also if this is true at all it is clashing with their mission of being inclusive for specifically LGBTQIA+people and offering us quality care. If supporting queer people is so important to intraSpectrum, I think they need to work on internally on treating their queer employees with more dignity, respect, and care. It's so clear to me their therapists had not been treated well in their work environment which is so upsetting and antithetical to everything this practice supposedly stands for. So, don't bother unless you want to be shuffled around. Thankful for the wonderful care I did receive when this place was working for me, but I will be seeking care elsewhere. Xoxo
