My wife and I were headed from Bonita Springs to Cape Coral at 6 pm on a Wednesday. The I-75 started backing up as we were about to come up to the exit for Estero, so we hopped off to find a place for dinner and wait out the traffic for an hour. As we pulled into the mall parking lot, we saw the sign for Rush Inn Bar & Grille. So, we decided to try it out since it's right by the parking lot. We were not disappointed. They have daily specials and today was their cheeseburger with fries for $12. It sounded good, so we both ordered it, paired with a Shock Top Belgian White draft. The burger is definitely the best burger I've had in a long time at a restaurant. We both ordered ours medium well. We could tell right away the meat was fresh and actually had seasoning on it. It was juicy and a good portion size. Nice thick cut of tomato and the bun was super fresh and soft. The fries weren't greasy or soggy. They had a nice crisp texture, almost like they were battered. When we arrived, it wasn't very busy, with maybe 10 tables taken both inside and out. But it had doubled by the time we left. Very clean establishment and our server "Shid" was super friendly. When I mentioned it was nice to see a bartender properly serve a Shock Top with an orange slice, she told us about the previous place she worked where they charged extra for an orange slice. Any decent bartender knows a Shock Top or Blue Moon should be served with an orange slice to enhance the flavor. Overall, a great dining experience and we are sure to be back. read more

We were excited to see this place at Miromar outlets, the menu was large, and had a few of our favorites including catfish and perogis which are hard to find in this area. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed by the service and the food. There were 5 tables seated in the entire restaurant so I can't see the excuse for the extremely slow service- our waitress was training someone but definitely not showing her protege how to put customers first. We ordered the nachos to start, many of the chips were bare of toppings, it was very basic, and quite small. No sour cream, very little cheese. I ordered the catfish, which was one small piece and came with tartar sauce instead of the traditional red gravy. I will be perfectly honest with you, it was terrible. We had to go to the bar and ask for hot sauce to cover the taste as our waitress never came back to see how we were. We sat with empty drinks till she finally came to clean our table. My husband got the fish and chips- while the breading was different than my catfish, it was definitely the same low quality white fish, only the breading was changed. I gave them two stars simply because the coleslaw and potato wedges were really good. I hate leaving a bad review,but we were disappointed and I don't want you to be as well. read more

Quite possibly the worst meal we've had. Chicken sandwich had no flavor, was missing the sauce and avocado, and was barely warm. My son's Mac and cheese was cold and missing the garlic bread. Service was beyond slow even though it was barely half full and there were 3 waitresses. Don't waste your money here. read more

Visited yesterday while shopping at the outlet mall. Service was great, and we were seated very quickly. My husband loved his burger, and my taco salad was pretty good. My only complaint is that on the menu, it said the salad was served with tortilla chips, but it ended up coming in a fried flour tortilla bowl. That was a problem for me because I can't have wheat. They quickly changed it for me and put the salad on chips. read more

This restaurant appears to be understaffed, and a lack of customers. I'm guessing there was either no manager on duty or they were out of sight in the back. The menu is extensive but somewhat unusual, offering a hodgepodge of different types of dishes. We started with the chicken wings, and the Cajun dry rub very good. However, our entrée--the Cobb salad--was disappointing. It came with red onions and lacked the traditional turkey and ham, which made the salad taste nothing like a true Cobb. Overall, it was terrible. This is a one and done restaurant. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but this restaurant has a lot of work. read more

I go to The Rush Inn often for their Patty Melt French Dip sandwich. I was disappointed the last time we went that my sandwich is smaller and now on bread instead of the usual roll. My husband likes their burgers. Our waitress was great. Funny and efficient. The restaurant has never been crowded and I don't know why. I would give The Rush Inn 5 stars had my sandwich been on the roll it used to be on. read more

This restaurant is in Miramar Outlets. They serve upscale bar food prepared fresh per order. I had the Pesto Shrimp wrap. It was loaded with freshly cooked shrimp. Wonderful flavor. I didn't have a cocktail or beer this time. The service was attentive but not invasive. We sat outside as our pups were with us. Forgot to mention the fries which came out hot and crispy. The owner, Ken, said they have Trivia, Kareoke and hopefully live music soon. Definitely a good place to rest and replenish after shopping or a destination place close to home. read more

Service is not good, food is over priced and the place just looks out dated! I got a burger and it was $17 for an over cooked under seasoned piece of meat. My table was sticky. What a hidden gem! We stumbled upon The Rush Inn while in the area. We live about an hour away. We love the food, the drinks and the service! We were so pleasantly surprised by this new place. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but we don't care for Ford's Garage and needed a good and quick-ish meal. Our hamburgers were perfect and simple. The soup tasted homemade and the 12 year old (who knows good steak) said it was the best piece of steak. The prices were fair and the service was excellent. Was excited to give this place a try based on the menu, we had a party of 10 walked in and seating right away staff very pleasant. We were all very disappointed in the food my husband had the catfish extremely small portions.
