The instructors at Rush are some of the best I've ever taken (and I've taken plenty). Miguel and Nancy's Frikitona Friday series make you feel like you're at a club. For the early birds, the 5am classes are the best way to start your day. Miguel, Ashley and Kaye, as well as the members are incredibly motivating. And if you've never taken a class with Carissa, you're missing out. It's like yoga on a bike. No, she's not making you do handstands on the bike... but her experience as a yoga instructor is evident in her classes. I always come out feeling stronger and more self aware. What a workout! I've done two classes now and both have been amazing! The intro class with Kiki was great. She was kind and kept the energy high throughout the whole class and her instruction was super helpful. It also wasn't intimidating like other intro classes can be. The next class I did was with Molly and it kicked my a$$ (in the best way, of course!). Her class was challenging but her instruction was motivational, which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall, the variety of music at Rush has been awesome, the instructors have been friendly, and the bikes are in excellent shape. I love Rush Cycle! I had my baby in 2024 and hadn't worked out since--until I decided to try a spin class here. It was definitely intense, but so much fun and completely worth every drop of sweat. I even ended up signing up for a membership because I loved it that much! The staff is amazing--super friendly and encouraging--and the facility is always clean and inviting. I especially love the dark ambience of the spin room; it makes the workouts feel energizing and immersive. This is the first fitness community I have felt welcomed and empowered by. The staff is very kind and compassionate. Did not feel judgement or intimidation as can sometimes be perceived in other fitness communities. The location is impeccably clean, and runs like a well-oiled machine. Class times are reliable and prompt. The spin room is mostly dark with walled mirrors and AC/fans. The music is the perfect volume. Another thing about Rush is the owner and staff are receptive to feedback and make adjustments as needed, which you don't always see in businesses! The first class is always free. I tried a cycling class at my gym before and I did not necessarily like it so I didn't know what to expect at Rush Cycle. I went with a group so it was not really an intimidating experience for me. The instructor was really sweet and encourages you in a way that is not forced. She enables you to push yourself at your own pace. The music, the lights, the workout, the cubby shelves, the cold towels on the tray at the end of the class - everything's well-thought of and makes it an experience that is very enjoyable and meant to be done over and over again. I previously was spinning at a yoga place. After debating on which gym to join I went with rush cycle and it was the best decision I could of made! Completely a better vibe! It's clean and fresh in side they always turn AC on which isn't always an option at other places. The vibe of the class is super uplifting and fun the music and ambiance is so awesome. I wish I would of joined rush cycle years ago. They offer shoes to wear for $1 and waters too. There's slots to put you purse/ shoes while your spinning. And they don't just say they offer you cold towel after class, they actually put out a tray of them ready for when you walk out. You can also grab some earplug if you need them. I was going to a gym then covid hit and shut everything down. That gym ended up closing down and I had spent years going to the gym early in the morning so when I didn't have that I was lost. I love this place! If you're looking for a place to relieve stress after a long day, or simply just to work out, this is the place for you. I am based in Orange County but every time I visit family I would always try to squeeze in a spin class. I would usually take it with a friend and I would meet her in the early morning before everyone is up. The class is such a vibe, ranging from Top 40 hits to hiphop and Bad Bunny sometimes. It's fun but also intense, like a full body work-out. The ladies at the front desk were really friendly. I brought my own spin shoes but unfortunately they have their own that clips and they hand you a fresh cold towel as soon as you're done with your work out. Rush Cycle has been by far my favorite place to workout. Not only it's fun, but the staff makes you feel right at home!! It's not a show up, workout, and leave type of place, you become familiar with with the staff which makes it more personal and want to come back. If your looking for a good cardio workout, this is the place! If you don't have your own cycling shoes you can borrow one of theirs since the bike needs a specific shoe to hook on to the pedals. The class is in a dimmed room with loud fun music. I thought I would be one of the only guys but there is a mix of both guys and girls. The instructor made the class super hype, you cycle to the beat of the music. They make sure to uplift you with energy to keep you going. I get excited about a lot of things, but I'm loving the instructors and energy at Rush! They are not there to entertain and put on a show, though they are amazing at it, they are there to bring out the best in each and every one of their riders. They inspire everyone who walks in that room, and you can feel the compassion and love radiating from the podium. It's important to note that I love how toward the end of each ride they encourage us to reflect and be with ourselves in the moment and leave everything on that bike. I cried yesterday, not realizing how incredibly heavy everything is that I've been carrying.. I kind of lost it while pedaling and felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders. I guess I don't realize how heavy everything is until I stop and lay it down.. I tend to just power through on a daily basis without letting myself stop and feel.. and it really hit hard yesterday. Let's start with the fact that in January there was a promotion.For 4 dollars you were given access to unlimited sessions for whole month , a very good promotion, but with one condition, as it turned out later. You had to cancel the subscription ON THE DAY OF ITS ISSUANCE, as the girl at the counter said when I arrived find out why $108 was written off from me 2 weeks after I wrote a statement about cancelling my account. I absolutely love Rush Cycle! I've been looking for something to help boost my health and confidence for a while and I'm so glad I found Rush! I'm two classes in so far and after each class, I've left with a bright red face, sweat dripping, and almost wanting to puke (in a good way haha)! They play amazing music and I don't feel intimidated by my lack of spin "skill." I'm pretty new to cycling (with the exception of a few In-Shape spin classes), but the instructors are incredibly motivating/inspiring. The gals that work there are also so helpful in getting you set up properly on your bike! The class is filled with an enormous amount of energy and it's actually addicting! I can't wait for my next class!! Tip: if you don't want to stand out, wear a dark color. I was super excited when I learned that Rush Cycle was opening in Bakersfield. I had taken my first class at the Irvine studio, and I had a great time! Rush Cycle is unique compared to other cycle places in that the classes are more upbeat, and the instructors are super engaging. The studio is located in the same plaza as Studio Movie Grill in Northwest Bakersfield. When you walk in, you'll immediately notice how clean the space is. You're greeted warmly, and a staff member will set you up with a shoe rental and adjust your bike. It seems like everyone who works there is bubbly! I've taken two classes so far, and they both got me sweating bullets within the first ten minutes. Initially, as I was huffing and puffing, I questioned why I decided to take the class, but the instructors kept me motivated. The room is dark, and the music is loud. Towards the end of the class, you'll spend some time doing arm workouts with weights. There were students of all shapes and sizes, both men and women. It's an awesome place for anyone. I've been raving about Rush Cycle to my friends. I'd highly recommend it for a fun, high energy workout! read more

I've done two classes so far. After my first 'free' (i.e., business funded) class, I immediately signed up for eight classes under one of their packages. I love cycling and have taught in the past. I am 12 months postpartum and of course have 8 lbs that just won't give. So, this is the perfect way for me to get back into the groove consideringi typically cycle at home. I am giving four stars rather than five and to be honest it isn't the businesses issue. The first class, I wore ear protection because I am hearing impaired but forgot them for my second session. I love it but having a disability puts a damper on getting your groove on when the music is blasting. I definitely need to be mindful for future classes but honestly my ears were ringing like crazy and I can't afford to lose any more of what is left of my hearing. So, no harm - no foul. I'll likely be back to update once I attend a few more classes and I hope to buy more from their package options. read more

After about a year of hearing how great Rush was, I finally decided to try it out with my boyfriend. We took our first class with Vee, who was incredible. I was intimidated to go in at first, but as soon as we walked in the door everyone made us feel like we were already regulars. I have absolutely no previous experience with spinning, and even if I couldn't quite keep up with everything in the class, I've never enjoyed working out so much! The energy Vee held in that room was insane, every time I thought I couldn't keep going I was proven wrong. I went to my friend class to support a new business in Bakersfield and a friend who worked there. As a male in my 40s I didn't think this would be the place for me. I quickly learned that was not the case. I found myself surrounded by high energy, great music and supportive staff, instructors and members! My wife went in and was asking about the sign ups, they dont take walk-ins, only memberships for $120/month. Ridiculous!! This place will be out of business in no time, guaranteed!! Plus when my wife was trying to sign up for the free class the front desk woman was talking to her other coworker about a client behind her back. Taking our business elsewhere to people that really care about clientele and that have more professionalism. This is no way to run a business. Hate to say it, you're not going to last with those workers of yours with huge egos just because you know how to ride a stationary bike. Dont laugh at others trying to do their best and are working on themselves physically and taking the steps towards a more healthy life.
