I don't think there's table service here, we ordered and paid at the bar but they did bring the drinks out to the table. Hubby had the Wax On Wax Off which was a little more sweet and more up my alley. Overall a nice place to grab a drink and relax for a bit. Cute for a date night.

I saw that the bartender had to look up the recipe for our cocktails, but they came out fine. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

This space had a sports bar feel, with 4-5 huge TVs playing sports- mostly women's soccer and the All-Star baseball game. Plus overhead music. So it's a bit loud, but to be expected. Outdoor seating is a nice option, although it was 90 degrees last night so I stayed inside. Service was exceptional, my favorite part of the night. I was seated immediately and folks came by with menu, utensils, water refills, condiments, and several people just checking to make sure I was having a good time and had everything I needed. Really liked the vibe. People were chatting, happy, all very light and welcoming. I travel a ton for work and this hotel restaurant stands out in terms of service, quality of food, and atmosphere. It's not like a place to go on a date, but for a hotel restaurant/lounge this one scores.

One of the best surprises for anyone with a gluten sensitivity is that all of their happy hour drinks are gluten-free, which immediately took the stress out of ordering from the separate menu. While the menu does not explicitly mark items as gluten-free, the staff is extremely knowledgeable, and we discovered that a great variety of happy hour options can easily be made gluten-free. I kicked things off with the Roja sangria before moving on to the frozen trio. Although the Paloma was not freezing properly at the time, the bartender was wonderfully accommodating and expertly crafted a custom margarita using those delicious Paloma flavors instead. My trio featured the coconut agave margarita, a Paloma made with the classic margarita base in guava passionfruit, and a spicy mango margarita. For food, we started by splitting the dip trio, paired with chips that are safely made in a dedicated fryer. We also ordered tacos on corn tortillas, sampling both the chicken pastor and the traditional carnitas, and every single bite of the food was delicious. Although they do not carry any gluten-free desserts, the server offered the birthday girl one of her choosing. Between the accommodating service and the stellar food and drinks, the entire gathering was a huge success.

Another great dinner at Foxtail!…read more We had to come back to try more of the menu, and this time we ordered: * Pork belly bruschetta: 5/10. Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! I ordered the filet medallions. If you normally order medium, order medium rare. Cut like butter and I have to say even at Capital Grille I would be asking for salt on the table. This meal did not need it. The seasonings were phenomenal and complimented both the meat and the vegetables along with the crispy potatoes. This was served beautifully arranged on the plate with broccolini and heirloom carrots, both of which were cooked to perfection along with crispy potato. I chose not to add the balsamic. My opinion, it would ruin the flavor.I have never had a better meal there, even though all of whatever I've had prior has been wonderful as well. This was to die for. I'm a big-time foodie practicing gourmet chef myself so I can tell you, trust me. I paired this with a glass of Pinot Noir. I would say let your personal taste decide on which one to order. We then ended the meal by sharing a panna cotta between 3 of us. Wish I hadn't shared LOL. It was topped with macerated blueberries and crumbled shortbread cookie topped with fresh whipped cream. Light, smooth and delicious. The perfect end to a fantastic meal. Hats off to the chef!!!!!
