I had just moved into my new home and some rooms needed to be repainted. I was pleased with their paint section. They sold a number of different paints by Benjamin Moore (which I have used in the past and really liked) as well as Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines. For those unfamiliar with who she is, she along with her husband Chip used to have a tv show called Fixer Upper, which I truly loved. Joanna Gaines is an amazing decorator and I had in the past bought some of her home decor online. The paint was beautiful and I almost did buy it. I may have gone with Sherwin Williams because the decorator and handyman I hired used this but it was almost painted with Magnolia Home. So if your looking for paint in the area, definitely check out Ace. I also explored the rest of the store in future occasions. They have a decently size outdoor furniture, decor and accessories area. They had some furniture I am definitely thinking about buying as well as their bird feeders/baths. I have always had them in all my homes and I am planning on having bird bath and/or bird feeders again in my new home considering there are so many in my yard. It's just a pleasure to see nature and I take pleasure and am fascinated in seeing bird fly about since I was a child. I will get to it once I am done with my major changes to my home. That said the store does have a little bit of everything but most of the departments are a bit small so you may not find everything you are looking for. For example, I couldn't find a large enough garden hose, only finding 50-75 ft hoses and I need much larger ones. Staff is super friendly, always asking if they could help you with a smile. All in all, a good hardware store and a good choice in the Van Wert area.

My first customer service rep was eating, on her laptop and phone and didn't answer when I asked for help. The second rep had no idea where to find a yardstick. Thank goodness a guy who was REALLY doing something else with another customer finally helped me! I guess they have new staff???

Getting him anything is always a chore, as he is difficult to buy for. He is, though, a pretty religious guy and i thought this store might have something he would like. I was in luck, there was a statute of a Jesus fish made out of wood. He actually ended up really liking it, which is a rare thing as usually he never has liked my gifts. While here, though, i found this store also sells greeting cards, home and garden decor. Definitely something i love. More importantly, i found two gifts to give to my best friend apple for Christmas. They were side gifts to supplement the main item i would get her. One was a sign that said "I need 3 coffees, 6 puppies, & like 12 million dollars"... so her and "your the friend everyone wishes they had". She totally is the bestest friend i have ever had! She loved those when she got them. So an awesome store with stuff i would like for my home... that helped me find something my dad loved and also brought a smile to my best friend!!!! Score!! You can find home and garden decor, coffee, baked goods, jewelry, clothing, hand made soaps, gifts and even live bait. I guess you can say its a one stop shop. I thought the sun-catchers they had for sale were very beautiful. I got some of the hand made soap they had as it smelled great. I cannot say anything about their massage services, as I did not try it. Its a cute store with an eclectic assortment of items that is definitely worth a look.

The place is made up of many booths with merchandise from local people - a lot of handcrafted items that you will not find at someplace like Walmart. I left with a bag of stuff because my husband was with me..... if he wasn't, I probley would have purchased even more. They're conveniently located on South Shannon Street in the plaza right behind McDonalds. They even have a massage therapist available, so you can get a massage - I do think you have to schedule an appointment for that though.

I actually didn't event notice it as it shares the same space as the coffee shop, there is a door to the left as you enter the coffee shop. Such a small little place but filled with plenty of gift items for friends and loved ones as well as amazing decor to beautify your home! It also sells amazing scented three wick candle jars! Some of the best candles i ever used and last way longer than any others! Place also sells handmade soaps, but i have not tried those yet. If you are in Van Wert, you should definitely stop by! Take a look and shop and then get a great coffee at Brewed Expressions!

We find new things each time we go. If you don't find something here I would be surprised. Prices are great. We never leave there empty handed. We've rarely ever had to wait in line at the counter and the employees are quick to help with whatever you need.
