So unfortunate I have to right this review because Celina was very accommodating when I missed my appointment in LA and was able to fit me in the following day. HOWEVER as an artist and professional there is a lack of accountability for her craft that she is missing and I am in shock. I traveled all the way from the East coast to see Celina during her pop-up to get my brow "microbladed" and my results were not on "brand" or close to any of the expectations I had based on reviews and photos she post on Instagram. Please do due diligence when I comes to your face ladies and be sure to speak up if your unhappy with the shape and not spare anyone's feelings. I was not happy with shape she created and I regret not speaking up because I felt guilty complaining as she was already having a horrible experience in LA. I did however show her reference photos and expressed that I like a soft, natural and rounded brow and trusted her skills based on her Instagram work. Nothing about my brows are a natural look. In fact, it looks like I had a bad tattoo job and sadly unlike other reviews I have gotten nothing but negative feedback on my brows. I am disappointed that I spent almost $3000 to get to LA and $400 on microbladed brows that left me with a worse shape then what I started with. Before booking, I was explicitly told that the artist was highly knowledgeable in working with highly melanated women, and that her Black clients rarely--if ever--needed a second session. It was stated that none of her Black clients had ever returned for a redo and that results were typically achieved in one session. Despite this, my $400 lip blushing service resulted in zero color retention--my lips looked exactly the same as before the service. My lips are not naturally dark and have a natural pink hue. This lack of result was acknowledged in person afterward, and a complimentary redo was offered due to the outcome. Following this, it became clear that additional guidance was needed, including reaching out to a mentor and sourcing new pigments specifically for highly melanated skin, which took several weeks. Over time, expectations and terms shifted, including last-minute attempts to introduce additional fees for what had already been discussed as a redo due to no outcome from the original service. If you are a highly melanated woman considering lip blushing, I strongly recommend confirming documented experience and results with pigment selection and blending for darker skin tones, and getting all policies in writing before booking. My experience involved inconsistent communication and no visible result from the initial service.

Hair stylist did what was asked but took twice as long (3 hours for a simple half twist up do in the back to hold vail) because her long nails made it impossible for her to open Bobby pins and get them in. Since they were taking so long, instead of Tina working on makeup at the same time she waiting till the end and used the excuse of poor job because she was rushed. My daughter sent her an inspiration picture weeks in advance. And she agreed to it. My daughter told her simple natural look. She wanted to look like herself, not an imposter. My daughter is Irish pale. Tina asked if she was tanning. My daughter told her no. This is who she is. The inspirational picture was of a pale person as well. The foundation was so dark my daughter looked Hispanic not pale Irish. She used dark Smokey eye shadow instead of light tone. The she put these huge eye lashes on saying they would look natural. They did not and was told to take them off. Tina was not happy and ended up leaving clumps of glue in her eyes. She only had 3 shades of lipstick and none were close to the color she asked for. When my daughter got to the wedding venue and could see herself better, she broke down sobbing. Her sisters had to strip all the makeup off and redo her. One of my girls said that Tina made her look like a Bratz doll. It was terrible. I've never seen so bad. When called the week after the wedding, Tina admitted she didn't like the way it turned out and kept making excuses and saying that's what other brides like. She didn't want to look like other brides, she wanted to look like herself. Tina agreed to give refund and even told manager she already refunded it. A week later no refund came through. Tina said she is not giving refund cause it's not her fault my daughter didn't like it. She doesn't listen to what her clients want and just does whatever she wants to do. Please don't make this same mistake using Tina.
