Apeiron Pups Dec.2021 We have known Aaron/Apeiron pups for…read moremany, many years. He began a friendship with our eldest son and we as a family came to know and love him. When he was a teen/young adult, He would house/Dog sit for us! Aaron was awesome with our dogs. We had some anxious and bad behavioral barking and within a very short time with them he had their full attention. Aaron very patiently worked with them outside every time he came bye! Our house had more obedient dogs and a great deal more peace! We then got a golden, named Boomer that loved Aaron! After many years of growing, bonding and working Boomer, he was so well behaved and obedient! Fast forward 10 years, Boomer grew older and slower. Although he was still silly, eager to please and happy to see us and Aaron too, it was apparent to all of us he was in severe pain! After few visits to our Vet, medications and several test later, we then got the Devastating news that Boomer, was ravaged with cancer. It was time to say our peaceful goodbyes! He was such a good, good boy! This was one of the most difficult times in our lives, saying goodbye to our family member Boomer! Aaron came to pay his condolences to all of us! He knew our love for all of our dogs, especially Boomer! So little over a year after Boomers passing, Aaron/Apeiron pups personally matched us to one of his pups that was most like Boomers personality and our family needs. This past November 2021, much to our surprise, in walks our dear sweet Aaron with a puppy! A sweet, blonde, little girl who we named Presley! As young as she was she was already so smart! She is the perfect fit to our family! And of course, Aaron/Apeiron pups has checked in with us several times to see how our training, obedience and health/growth were coming along! We are so grateful and cannot say enough about Aaron/Apeiron pups, the level of his professionalism and knowledge he has displayed to us for many, many years! We were in a really tight spot - we were scheduled to go to Italy for a week, and one of our cats…read morehad just gotten quite ill and would need medication twice daily, which we felt would be too much to ask of a friend to try to administer. We got Stephanie's contact info from our vet, for whom she worked before starting her business. She got right back to me on the same day and asked to come over and meet the cats and get to know the layout of our apartment, which put me very much at ease. She recognizes that every pet is different, and it's important to get to know them and learn about them from their owners before trying to take care of them. She was also very respectful of our cats' behavior and didn't try to pressure them into interacting, and was familiar enough with the medications she'd be administering to recognize when it would be better to skip a dose than to freak out our sick cat further. By the end of the week, he was feeling MUCH better and had even come out for playtime, and our shyer cat - who comes out for almost nobody except us - had come out to visit and play as well! I can say all of this because she left us detailed, twice-daily notes as to her visits, and responded to texts as well (even with a six-hour time difference). When we got back, they were both bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and happy to see us, which tells me that they were glad to have her around. If we go out of town for a similar length of time (or even shorter, potentially), we will absolutely be asking Stephanie to take care of them again. Her pricing structure was also very reasonable (especially for the care we needed), and she broke down each and every cost for us before we signed the contract. I would absolutely recommend her to any and all anxious pet parents who are leaving town, or even if you just need somebody who's great with animals to look in on your furry friends and make sure they're fed and watered and happy. When I left him with Jack during my vacation, I received a pic of my baby as well as daily updates on his well-being. He told me how he was eating, his many walks and his temperament while being in a different home that he was not used to. This was really a relief to me as I didn't have to worry that my pup was being taken care of in a knowledgeable, calm atmosphere. In addition to his size and strength, Zippy is extremely reactive, thus very difficult to control, when he encounters other dogs during walks. I advertised for dog walkers on Nextdoor and received a few responses from kids and other dog lovers. When Jack Feldmann the owner of Your Pet's Best Friend reached out to me, it was immediately apparent that he is a professional -- the real deal. He and his associate, Kevin Wilson, were totally unfazed by Zippy's size and potential for problems. Both developed great relationships with our monster dog and managed him beautifully. Fortunately, I'm again able to walk Zippy, but I will certainly call Your Pet's Best Friend anytime our circumstances require support with Zippy.
