I would NEVER take my dog here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone else. I was in need…read moreof a kennel at the last minute and when I called Country Critters, they had availability and good reviews, so I used them. When I picked my dog up the lady asked if I could go get my dog with her because he was too scary for her (hes a 10 month old puppy who loves everyone). When I got to his kennel, it had multiple piles of diarrhea every where in his run and the lady said "oh my he must have just done this because this wasn't here a few minutes ago." I glanced over and saw several other runs with dogs that also had diarrhea every where as well, so it was obvious they don't clean the runs. When we got home my dog had nothing but diarrhea and got me up every hour to take him out. The next morning he had explosive diarrhea and now blood in his stool. This continued through out the day, so I had to take him to the vet to be seen. I CANNOT believe a place like this is still in business. This place is filthy and needs to close its doors. You cant get peoples animals sick and not be held liable. Steer clear from this place, unless you want your dog to become very sick.

We loved our trainer - and I am so sorry I cannot remember her name (she had Yellow hair!). But she was amazing, respectful, and patient with everyone and the dog parents. LOL She was very skittish in the beginning but with confidence and learning and homework we did a lot of great strides to making her feel more comfortable with us training her and being at home. She still will love checking out squirrels but we have been taught on what to do when that happens. We appreciate all you all do, and look forward to checking out more of their classes.

I LOVE that it's all women, it makes me feel 100000x more comfortable. They always go above and beyond. At least once or twice my girl has had accidents in the house (those puppy days) and they've cleaned it up! They keep a notebook at your house and you get a note each time - which is really nice to come home knowing she took care of all her business, or even if they noticed something concerning. I've even had one of the owners/managers text me immediately when they've noticed something REALLY concerning. I have a Furbo camera so I sometimes end up seeing them bringing her back into her bedroom, and it's clear they love her just as much as I do, and it's clear Annie loves them. I have sacrificed other things in my budget in order to have them come 4 times a week, and it is completely worth it for the peace of mind I get during the weekday. ADW was recommended to me, and I am SO glad. I don't think I could recommend them enough.

Very disappointed with the care my dog, Scotty received during the stay from July 3-July 11, 2026…read more I chose this business because I expected my Scotty to be safe, comfortable and well cared for. I completed all necessary questions, completion of documents, physicals, etc. prior to admittance. I explained the care my that was needed, and I was assured that he was in good hands. Unfortunately, upon departure, Scotty was given to me in my arms rather than placing him on the floor I noticed unusual behavior and poor hygiene. Upon arrival at home I placed him in grass to potty and he could barely stand. I picked him up and took him inside and begin to wipe him off and I noticed that his front paw pads were damaged. It was obvious that an injury was sustained. I attempted to communicate by calling and emailing this company. I was able to raise my concerns with the staff. Eventually the owner, Laura responded to my email. She admitted that she meant to communicate with me before my departure, but I had already left. I could have been contacted when the injury was observed. They did not notify me of any issues and I called three times while on vacation. I never received any report cards on a daily basis as mentioned on the website. Laura also implied that it was my fault as owners are not aware that concrete can burn off the paw pads. I do not walk my dog on hot concrete. Cozy Canine places dogs in outside kennels with rocks. It was a concern of mines and I asked about the hot rocks. I was told that they monitor all pets and only keep them out for a short while when it is hot outside. I took my dog to the vet and the vet said that it looked like his paw pads had been pulled off. The paw pad was badly infected and was treated. We went back to the vet twice and the paw was not healing. This impacted Scotty because he was suffering. I could not see him continue to suffer. I had to have him euthanized. It has also affected my family and I because he was part of our family for 17 years and we loved him. It was his one month anniversary of his death on 8/21/2026. I am sharing this review so other pet owners can make an informed decision. I hope the facility addresses these issues and improves the quality of care for the animals entrusted to them. I have raised my concerns with the owner, but no resolution offered.

We stayed at the Loews Hotel and the hotel recommended Tim when I inquired about a dog walking service. I never met Tim and only spoke to him on the phone and exchanged emails and texts with him. However, my pup was happy and calm when we returned to the hotel room. The pup was calm in the way where he'd gotten a good bit of exercise. Tim left detailed notes about their hour long walks. I first spoke to Tim about a month ago when I made reservations for hour long walks for Friday and Saturday nights. He was enthusiastic and responsive from the moment I spoke to him. He immediately returns emails and phone calls. I was slightly apprehensive about leaving my pup with a stranger and letting that stranger into my hotel room but Loews had told me that they'd been working with Tim for at least a year. We made plans to meet prior to the first walk but we cancelled because my husband and I got a late start getting to Annapolis and couldn't make the original meeting time with Tim. I spoke to him that afternoon and he assured me that everything would be fine and the Loews staff knew him really well. Based on other conversations we'd had and emails we'd exchnaged - where Tim was always full of tips about dogs and loved to talk about his other dogs - I had a good hunch about him. So I went with my gut and just left a note at the hotel front desk authorizing him to enter my room and walk my dog. Both nights, I came back to a happy dog and a nice, detailed note from Tim - all for a reasonable price. I plan to ask Tim to care for my dog whenever we travel to Annapolis.
