Pros: - Every single salesperson I encountered was friendly and helpful - they even let me into the store a few minutes before opening! - Huge selection of footwear and accessories for all. - Lots of sizes available. - Plenty of sales and specials to go around. - Everything was clean and neatly organized. - I had no trouble finding a spot to sit or a mirror (large or small). - Footlets, socks, and shoe horns are readily available for customer use. Cons: - None that I can think of. One thing I've noticed about The Shoe Company is that its stores are generally reflective of what is advertised on its website - also, you can order shoes online and pick them up in store for free. The local appliance store was loathe to address my concerns (of course...they already had my money), pulled a Pontious Pilate, and referred me to said manufacturer, who also proved ambivalent about expediting ANY form of resolution. After several phone conversations with the manufacturer and ultimately LOSING MY SHIT, I was contacted by Pam from McNeice and Smith who arranged for one of her staff to assess my expensive boat anchor the following day. The washer was deemed DOA by the repairman, and on Pams' recommendation to the manufacturer, it was replaced within a couple of days. I can state unequivocally that the resolution to this matter would have been much more painful and protracted had it not been for the exemplary customer service provided by M@S. Thanx again Pam.
