I was in such need of new running shoes, and this place came highly recommended by a friend of mine. We drove out to Brighton which is about 25-30 minutes away to check this out. It was a great experience, the person that was assigned to us was very knowledgeable. He picked out several pairs of shoes for me to try out on their treadmill and on their machine that measures your stance. I picked up a pair of running shoes, and several pairs of Their socks. They said that these shoes should last me about 300 to 500 miles depending on if I am running indoors or out. Looking forward to enjoying my new shoes on our trails!

Very helpful. They took their time discussing pros and cons of different shoes. Taped me running and we walked through things to focus on.

I walked into the Running Lab without a receipt and I was greeted by Toni who exchanged them on the spot.

Rarely anything good in XL and the plus size clothes there are just blah. No color or style. The staff are nice most of the time. I have interacted with a couple of rude people when I've looked for items. The set up in the health and beauty area is horrible. So hard to find things. All aside, I still shop there because I like the store in general. Plus clearance deals and sales are usually great!

First off, they stock way more things than any of the other Targets in the area that I go to. Whenever I'm looking for a specific item on the app and it's sold out at the stores around me, Brighton always has it in stock for pick up. Last Christmas I walked around and was amazed by how much more holiday decor they had available compared to other shops I had been to. Anyone who knows me knows I get a little holiday decor crazy so I definitely filled an entire cart with goodies. Their shelves are just so much more interesting than the other locations I go to. The grocery section is also pretty great and filled with way more than I typically see at my local Target. Recently I stopped in on a Sunday night and will say it was a bit cleaned out but that may have just been post-weekend shoppers. Any time I've gone mid-week it's been super stocked. This location also has a mini-Disney store inside which is only one of a handful in the state. It's not huge but they carry some things you'll only see in these mini-stores so it's worth browsing through if you have the time. My only complaint is, given the size of the store and how many people come through, they should have more than 4 self-check out kiosks. When I was there last they only had one register open so the self-check out line was pretty long. That would definitely ease things up a bit if they added some more.

I bought some hand cream at Bath and Body Works. Did a pass through the sandals and shoe aisles at DSW. We had a walk through White House Black Market and checked out some house goods at Pier 1.

It has a few stores that I like and it's in between the Flint area and metro Detroit, so it'll do in a pinch if I'm in the Brighton area, which happens now and then. They have a varied selection of stores, ranging from Dick's and Barnes and Noble to J. Jill, Claire's, Pier One and Five Below, plus a whole lot more, in addition to a few decent watering holes and eateries. In truth, they have more restaurant options than I would assume they might at such a small-ish open air/strip mall. It's better than having limited options or eateries with excessive lines or a crappy food court with just fast food garbage. I like the Pier One store, but the Barnes and Noble is not my favorite B & N location, but it's still nice to have a brick and mortar book store in the area. This mall has a few shops that we don't have at home, plus a variety of others that we do. Other than that, the parking is adequate and the location is pretty decent and convenient, just off the expressway. I'd like to see a few more boutiques open up, but for now, the mix of retailers is decent, relatively varied and the options for food & drinks is great for such a small venue.
