I came here a few times already and bought three jerseys so far, Honda AC Milan Home Jersey, Aguero Manchester City Away Jersey (Black) and the Kagawa Japan National Team Jersey. I was very happy with all my experiences here. First of all, this store sells a lot of authentic jerseys from all the big teams you can think of in EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1, MLS, Bundesliga. On top of their wide selections of jerseys, they also have a very complete stock of different soccer equipments. Secondly, the staff in the store are very friendly and you can tell they do enjoy watching or playing soccer. You can literally talk about soccer to the sales for hours given you have the time to kill!! Most important of all, they demonstrated to me what great customer experience is all about. I remember in January, Honda was just signed by AC Milan, as a big Japanese soccer fan, I immediately called and asked if they have the Honda jersey in stock. They advised me they have the jersey but not the name kit yet, however, they can order for me and can give me a call when they arrive. Two weeks later, I got a call and was advised the name kit arrived and asked if i was still interested. I immediately drove to the store and made my purchase. Remember what your client wanted and making that follow up call is what great customer experience is all about! If you are looking for soccer gears, make sure you come to this location!! If you are a big soccer fan like me, you can also join their VIP membership for $20 a year and you get 15% off on all regular priced items and earn points that can be redeemed as cash for future purchases! Well worth it if you purchase a lot of soccer gears.

They always seem to have the right selection of clothing, cleats, and equipment in stock. If not they can order it in no time. The prices are competitive to other stores that only sell football merchandise. I have been to 2 other locations in the west end but I choose to come here because of their excellent service. To sum it all up it's a one stop shop for the footballer or footballer fan.

Even though this…read morewasn't a certification course I still got a taste of what scuba diving was like, and if I want to pursue a certification in the future the experience does count for some credits. We arrived at the My Dive Center to get an overview of what scuba diving is like and we went through some terminologies and safety precautions before we got fitted for our gears. The Diving Masters there are all PADI certified. Our instructor/Diving Master Theo was really knowledgeable and was super friendly, and I totally appreciate his effort in accommodating our big group of 10 to get us fitted for our equipment. After the lecture we went to the swimming pool at a local high school. The diving equipment that we received today included the diving mask, buoyancy controlled diving vest, oxygen tank, and the fins to wear on the feet. At the pool we were split into small groups 4 to 5 to get a more personal lesson with another instructor. My instructor Matt went through with us how to put on the equipment and guided us through the basic diving skills before letting us get a taste of the scuba diving experience. Even though I somewhat struggled at the fog-clearing exercise, Matt was really helpful and patient with me at guiding me through the process. In total we spent around 3 hours in the water and I totally enjoyed every second of it. I highly recommend everyone to give Discover Scuba Diving a try, especially if you're thinking of getting certified.

What an amazing experience and an absolutely amazing team!…read more My husband and I wanted to get our Scuba Diving certification, as we were leaving for vacation to Mexico and wanted to go diving there. We decided to do the Referral Program, which is basically the theory + confined water dives with 1 Scuba Outfit, and the final open water dives can be completed anywhere in the world, where there is a PADI shop. After much research, and talking to few shops around Toronto, we decided to go with Yoon Chin at My Dive Center. And we are SO GLAD that we did. Initially we were a bit cautious, and their rates were a bit cheaper than some of the other shops we had spoken to, for the same course, and we didn't want the quality of the training compromised due to lesser price being offered, but after speaking to Yoon, I felt super comfortable. Yoon is such am amazing person, and a wonderful instructor. He went out of way to accommodate us (we were working on a very tight schedule), and he made sure that we got all the theoretical training we needed before going into the pool. In the pool, we were trained by instructors Marty and Pat. The pool they rent is not at the shop of the dive center, it's a separate community center and they just rent the facility. And it's a great space for the pool classes. Marty and Pat were both absolutely amazing (and lots of fun be around!!). They made everyone feel comfortable and at ease with the whole process. It was a bit scary initially (especially for me, I had just learned to swim as an adult a year or two ago) but it was honestly so much fun! I honestly couldn't recommend them more. So much so that we even considered doing the full course with these guys (the open water dives, in lake Ontario) but we just didn't have the time otherwise we would have done so. Yoon and his team are extremely passionate about diving, very serious about safety and a lot of fun!!

When my friend from grade 7 and her husband had tied the knot several years ago, they wore matching Blue Jays jerseys (classic white home ones) to officially mark that they were a married couple. I went to a Jays game a few month back as part of a work event. I visited the Jays store. I found lots of jerseys. They were expensive starting at $300. I ended up getting a t-shirt that was more my price point. The Shopping Channel is running a sale on Jays apparel. There's a 15% discount. I found a jersey that I liked. It was $249. It was still ridiculously expensive for me to splurge. My goal: Find a Jays jersey that doesn't break the bank. I did a search. I found SVP Sports selling the same Jays jersey for $159. Nice! I didn't buy it online. I saw that this store had many jerseys available. I decided to pay this store a visit last Friday night. The SVP Sports store used to be at Woodside Square. It has since moved to a larger location at McCowan Road and Milner Avenue. It's in a plaza with Winners, Starbucks, Mr Sub, and more. It was raining. I parked fairly close to the building. I then walked into the store. Happiness was seeing powder blue jerseys on my right. They were indeed authentic Blue Jays jerseys. Yay! The original price was $200. It was indeed marked down to $159. There was a further reduction. This jersey was going for $79. One word: Wow! I wanted a jersey without any player's number on the back. I tried on two different sizes. As I was trying one of them on, a female sales associate asked if I needed any help. I let her know that I was okay trying on one of the jerseys. She was being helpful. I frankly wanted to be left alone to figure out my size. Sometimes, it's better to let the customer tell you whether she needs assistance and to leave her be. I found the jersey of my dreams. I was elated! There are change rooms at this store. I didn't need one, as it was easy to try on a jersey over my t-shirt that I was wearing. This store has a lot of merchandise that is heavily discounted. I saw NHL caps of all Canadian teams. It hit me that I don't own a Winnipeg Jets cap. I got one for $19. Unheard of! I lined up at the checkout. There were cameras everywhere. I suppose that prices are so cheap on sports clothing, caps, backpacks, and more that theft is an issue. I got a nice woman at the checkout. She asked if anyone had helped me. I said no. She apologized. She didn't need to. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was great. She let me know what the score was between the Jays and Mariners. It was game 5 in Seattle, with the Mariners leading by 1. Sadly, the Jays lost this game. However, the team ended up winning the entire series. I love my jersey and cap. They are comfy to wear and I didn't break the bank. I'd return for the deals. They are great. The quality of my purchases was excellent. (387)

Quebec Nordiques with their last season back in 1994/1995, that was over 20 years ago! There are also some "Vintage" NBA and MLB jerseys! I would not say it feels like shopping at Value Village, but you did need to go through a lot of merchandise to find something that you might want to pay for it. Security measure here is quite high. Seems like shoplifting has been a big problem for management?

The changing rooms also seriously need to be maintained. It's so dusty, there's always a pile of dust bunnies blowing around in there. The home section is okay. I wouldn't bother to try selling those because it's just very unsanitary. The name always throws me off because I think of Woodside Square in Scarborough. Anyway, it's next door to Kitchen Stuff Plus, which is highly convenient. This Winners isn't my favourite. It makes sense to me why I haven't got around to doing a review until now. It's not a horrible store. I find that the selection is either spot on or disappointing, depending on what I need. Over a decade ago, when I worked for a company in Scarborough, it was hosting its first user symposium. I played a few roles, including updating our corporate Web site with photos and information about the event. I needed business clothes. My friend and I came to this Winners to get some decent apparel. This store holds my personal record for spending the most time at a Winners during a single visit. We spent two hours looking at and trying on blazers, blouses, and pants. I ended up buying a blazer and a blouse. The blazer still works and has stood the test of time. I have since worn it numerous times for various job interviews. It's kind of my lucky blazer. Sadly, the blouse didn't last as long as the blazer. I recently went back to this store to check it out. I was here for one thing: a PopSocket. A couple of weeks ago, I got a new phone case for my new phone. I needed a new PopSocket, as I might as well go with this new streak. I came here last Wednesday after running a number of errands. There is always plenty of parking. I parked fairly close to the store and walked in. A friendly guy was manning a hand sanitizer station. He was great. I said hi and walked in. Purses greeted me next. Sadly, there wasn't a single Kipling bag for me to gush over. I was sad. I like that most Winners stores have similar layouts. I immediately found the phone accessories section, which is right by the checkout. There were lots of PopSocket designs to choose from. I was happy and selected the one that won my heart. I avoided the shoe section. I don't need more shoes! The selection of women's size 11 footwear is also hit or miss. It's all about timing. The store's interior is much more inviting than I recall. Aisles are wider. The lighting is better. I liked the improvements since I was last here. I paid using a debit card. There wasn't a lineup at 7 pm on a Wednesday night. I got my TJX Style+ card scanned, too. I thanked the woman and left. Here's hoping that it offers Kipling bags soon. It's a good Winners. It's just not my favourite out of the three in Markham, but it had what I needed during this visit. (429)
