I was missing a piece from my purchase, and they took full ownership and shipped it to me before my flight to make sure i could used my equipment. Brought in my regulator for general service ($125). Picked a used regulator that looked like it was…read morein a decent condition for $100 on marketplace (not antique/beat up) [I have rented a lot fo gear in the past and have seen beaten up regulators before]. Got a call from Scuba2000 mechanic that hoses are too old and the manufacturer recommends replacing it every 10 years, agreed ($69 each). Then got a call that I am missing a BCD hose, then got a call that 2nd stage is not working well and a part needs to be replaced, then got a call about corrosion in octopus.. Long story short, $724 to repair a regulator, when a new one with shipping and duties is $550. The mechanic "reassured" me that he is giving me a good price and is using the cheapest components for it to be cost efficient. A business that respects itself and its customers would open everything up and check all components BEFOREHAND and say, look, A B C D needs to be replaced, it would cost this much, it is not worth it for you as you can buy a new reg for cheaper. This would earn my trust and respect and would make me a returning customer. The company decided to be greedy and make top dollar from a new customer, I have learned my mistake and will not be returning.

If you are certified, but want to improve your skills, it will be $20 including rental equipment. The refresher took 1.5 hours, and my instructor was amazing! He was very thorough and knowledgeable.
