UPDATE: So they called me back finally and now gave the excuse that they could not refund the $20…read moreon my bank account due to there being a "fraud" report blocking it and they need my bank to notify them that it was removed. First, even if the bank did, they cannot refund it on the original card because that was cancelled. Second, the extra payment I made was on a credit card and so that is where the refund should go. That has no block. Their billing practice is sketch and so I did file a formal complaint and told them in no uncertain terms that my complaint stands, my low reviews stand, and they can keep the $20 if they feel all of this makes them feel good about their ethical practices in terms of billing and customer service. I have spent too much of my personal time, my work time, dealing with this. Fair would have been that both me and the company work to resolve the issue, but it has been essentially put on me. They took no accountability, offered no apology for my inconvenience, and gaslighting me. This is unfortunate because they have genuinely good counselors, therapists on staff but their leadership and overall ethics have much to be desired. This is my last update because I refuse to give them one more second of my valuable time for $20. Chalking this up to a $20 lesson of where not to do business. UPDATE: Downgraded my rating because I realized that they took my payment without recognizing that they had already took it so now THEY OWE ME $20. I keep calling the number on the automated response to these reviews that they say to call and I cannot get a live person. So now, they are 1 star and I can't get anyone to call me back. They are now claiming they credited it to my account but could not answer how this could be since I do not see a credit back to either my credit card or to my bank account. So the therapists are good as are the staff. The reason for my very low rating is because of the fact that they charged my card on file for a $20 copay owed from ONE YEAR AGO WITHOUT TELLING ME and so I thought it was fraudulent charge, cancelled my debit card, waited over a week to get my new one, had to notify all places that used my old debit card. If they had just called me, told me that I owed $20 from a year ago and ASKED IF IT IS OKAY to charge the card on file, I would have just said yes. No big deal but now they made it a big deal. I will NEVER go back ever. I don't care if they have the best staff on earth. NEVER because them not contacting me is NOT RIGHT. Shame on them!!!!

I started with Christina at a time in my life when the inner demons of doubt were starting to win and the trap-door below my feet that represented a solid reality I thought I could trust kept falling open. I was doubting whether any of my friends were real, I was doubting every motive I ever had, I was doubting whether I had been conning my way through my entire life, I was doubting whether my entire life was a facade, I was doubting everything. I was desperate to cling on to something and doubt - like the Ouroboros snake that eats it's own tail - was consuming me whole. My brain had quite suddenly turned on itself and I was completely lost amidst the spiraling anxiety. Christina met me where I was at - and through a combination of education, deep care, compassionate validation, and relentless (in a great way) pushing towards the exposures that would help me - brought me to more light, peace, and calm than I ever would have imagined possible years ago. The more I've come to know my own OCD, the more I've come to appreciate how truly skilled Christina is at navigating a state of being that can be so sinister and so difficult to navigate. My wife, a generally straight woman fell in love with me as a person but needed some help understanding and incorporating sex into our relationship. Something she has done very well and is now proudly and functionally bisexual. To maintain a clear line of communication, seeing marriage/sex counselor has been paramount to our marriage success. The entire staff at this place has been professional, supportive and easy to work with. Scheduling is easy and the office environment is very relaxing. I highly recommend these professionals. They have been very open and nonjudgmental about our same sex marriage. We both feel very comfortable there.

She saw my son individually for two sessions and met with us as parents once before we had a family session after another issue arose. The way she spoke to us came across as rude and disrespectful, which only made our family's communication worse instead of better. To make matters worse, the session lasted only half the scheduled time, yet I expect we'll be charged the full amount. I left feeling angry, offended, and let down.
