Bad experience, horrible attitude. Even tried to threaten us. Even started to question the authority of the state hospital. My child was there for a few IOP sessions and she had one of the most terrible experiences in her treatment journey. First, in this establishment, unauthorized children could just run groups without adult supervision once they stay there long enough. The environment is also extremely dirty and messed up. The teachers and clinicians are extremely unprofessional, and didn't seem have any ability to handle a group. Never taught my kid anything, they just sat there and talked to another kid. For being an IOP program, I can't believe that they're doing this. Another kid was calling my daughter out for doing good in school (like how is that even a bad thing?). Call her the f-ing nerd and the adult in the room didn't care a single bit. Group rules doesn't do a thing in here, and that's really surprising after I've compared other programs. People were cussing and threatening and teasing other patients in a really unfriendly way, and the adults do absolutely nothing about it. I really can't believe they're doing this to "save people's lives". Do not come here, instead go to a PROPER mental facility if you actually want care for your child's mental health. read more
