One aspect of the office that always stood out to me was the encouragement board. I have a few little notes written anonymously hidden in slots of my wallet. Every so often one will fall out, or I'll stumble upon them. They are nice little refreshers. To the staff, all of you were very attentive and kind. I personally saw Cynthia, and Mo on my initial visit. They are thorough and patient. They don't make you feel different. They aren't pushy, they aren't judgmental. I felt understood and most importantly - safe. Thank you to the staff of Creekside, including Chris, and Monica. I'm sad I'm leaving this practice, but appreciative of the professionalism and unwavering kindness.

DO NOT GO HERE! my therapist recommended I come here for medication management after a diagnosis…read moreshe gave me. Firstly, it took 3 calls here to get someone to call me back. Then the first appointment I HAD to have was an intake with one of their therapist even tho I have my own. Then it took EIGHT weeks to see a psychiatrist Jessica Reiss who then also needed her own intake appointment which took an hour and a half. She not only clearly didn't believe me but also was condescending in her tone when asking about diet. I have lost 110 pounds and told her prior to asking about diet that I am a CPT and nutrition coach- she then asks "but do you follow it"... excuse me? DO YOU MAAM? Not only does she not take my therapist diagnosis but she makes me jump through hoops and turns me in to side show Bob requesting a questionnaire from my mother and a FRIEND be filled out THEN TWO WEEKS LATER an in office visit for her to take my blood pressure.... To "confirm diagnosis". Why is it that I need to jump through hoops when I've established a relationship with my own therapist. Why can't you do your job and make an assessment like all the other psychiatrist do? Nope.... This place is a joke and they make you coke back for as many visits as possible. Do not come here. Literally would rather never seek therapy again and won't. I'm done with shrinks. Y'all are the same. GATEKEEPING access to necessary medication is disgusting. I have NEVER sought out medication until this diagnosis before.... I've always turned down meds. ALWAYS! Imagine... finally wanting to get help and being met with roadblocks by YT women. Big shocker. Medical gatekeeping..... makes me wonder if this office is racist.

UPDATE: So they called me back finally and now gave the excuse that they could not refund the $20…read moreon my bank account due to there being a "fraud" report blocking it and they need my bank to notify them that it was removed. First, even if the bank did, they cannot refund it on the original card because that was cancelled. Second, the extra payment I made was on a credit card and so that is where the refund should go. That has no block. Their billing practice is sketch and so I did file a formal complaint and told them in no uncertain terms that my complaint stands, my low reviews stand, and they can keep the $20 if they feel all of this makes them feel good about their ethical practices in terms of billing and customer service. I have spent too much of my personal time, my work time, dealing with this. Fair would have been that both me and the company work to resolve the issue, but it has been essentially put on me. They took no accountability, offered no apology for my inconvenience, and gaslighting me. This is unfortunate because they have genuinely good counselors, therapists on staff but their leadership and overall ethics have much to be desired. This is my last update because I refuse to give them one more second of my valuable time for $20. Chalking this up to a $20 lesson of where not to do business. UPDATE: Downgraded my rating because I realized that they took my payment without recognizing that they had already took it so now THEY OWE ME $20. I keep calling the number on the automated response to these reviews that they say to call and I cannot get a live person. So now, they are 1 star and I can't get anyone to call me back. They are now claiming they credited it to my account but could not answer how this could be since I do not see a credit back to either my credit card or to my bank account. So the therapists are good as are the staff. The reason for my very low rating is because of the fact that they charged my card on file for a $20 copay owed from ONE YEAR AGO WITHOUT TELLING ME and so I thought it was fraudulent charge, cancelled my debit card, waited over a week to get my new one, had to notify all places that used my old debit card. If they had just called me, told me that I owed $20 from a year ago and ASKED IF IT IS OKAY to charge the card on file, I would have just said yes. No big deal but now they made it a big deal. I will NEVER go back ever. I don't care if they have the best staff on earth. NEVER because them not contacting me is NOT RIGHT. Shame on them!!!!

I feel like I won the psychologist lottery with Estelle! She provides invaluable support, guidance,…read moreand care. I have been a client of Estelle's since 2015 with some breaks during this time due to life changes. When I first began seeing Estelle, I saw her in person at her office which was comfortable. I no longer live in Colorado, so now Estelle and I meet virtually. I am on a very regular appointment schedule, however, she has always remained flexible when accommodating appointment changes. Estelle has and continues to work with me through a variety of issues (PTSD, queer relationships, grief with relationships ending, marriage, self-improvement, religious changes), and I never felt judged or treated differently. Instead, I've always felt extremely safe with Estelle no matter the topic. I easily can say that my life has been changed for the better by Estelle's presence. She celebrates with me when things are good, and provides light at the end of the tunnel when things are hard. She isn't clinical and dry. Estelle is warm, invested, and appropriately humorous. She truly wants to understand you, your quirks, and find a path towards healing at your pace. Her observations are given kindly and are explained well. I like that Estelle holds me accountable when I need to be held accountable. I plan to stay with Estelle for many years to come! She is my mentor for bettering myself, and a beacon of hope when things are heavy.

It's an absolutely…read morehorrid company that acts as a drug mill pushing as many clients in as possible, all while having a continuous revolving door of providers since nobody likes working at Klarisana (there are a few Reddit posts from previous workers that state Klarisana is a predatory company with shady practices including claims of skipping second doses on some clients). I went to both Denver and Longmont locations and felt like I was treated subhuman and like a burden every time I was there. I reported Longmont's location to the BHA but they couldn't do anything since Klarisana isn't governed by them (which they need to be). I was left unattended during a bad treatment after they turned away my NEMT ride last year and wanted me to pay $160 of my own money for their "uber health fee" to get home. My case manager said she's never worked with a medical provider this horrible and unreliable. Im thankful that I tried treatments again this year, but this time at Khrysalis. Everyone do yourself a favor and go to Khrysalis for your treatments. They offer IV covered by Medicaid and also offer snacks, eyemasks, blankets, and check in on your multiple times after each appointment. And they remember you each time you come in and treat you like family. Avoid Klarisana. Horribly run company who cares more about quantity of clients than quality of care or patient safety. I'm happy not to deal with this scary company anymore. Avoid them.

Over the past year we have worked with 2 therapists at the Arvada location. Each has excelled in their care for us as a family, especially our child with PTSD. The office has an inviting atmosphere that genuinely honors and celebrates diversity. The therapists are not only exceptionally skilled but also deeply empathetic, creating a nurturing environment where individuals can express their thoughts and feelings freely, without any fear of judgment. Their specialized focus on LGBTQ+ issues is evident in their thoughtful approach, making this office an ideal sanctuary for anyone seeking support within the community. Over the years, we have utilized multiple therapists in the Denver metro area. Assessing Alternatives Counseling has done more to help us understand each other and myself individually better than any other. We feel better empowered, understood, and ready to embrace our journey as a family knowing that we have a safe place to return to for support and guidance. I highly recommend them for anyone feeling lost, depressed, anxious, or just needing someone to talk with.

During intake, you're repeatedly asked the same question, which indicates that teams don't communicate and that their systems aren't integrated effectively. You're assigned a case manager, a therapist, and a PA -- but again, they never appeared to have connected before meeting with you. Conversations were brief, hurried, and felt like you were imposing on them. Tim, the care coordinator, demonstrated a complete lack of patience. When I selected another group for my IOP follow-up (not Curawest), he quickly shuffled us into another room to continue the conversation. He also led a detox group where he appeared unprepared, focused on his own story, and didn't connect it to us or what we were going through. He also checked his watch and answered text messages during the presentation. It was highly unprofessional and ineffective. I spoke to several other attendees who shared the same thoughts. My therapist was Courtney. I spoke with her briefly. She asked many of the same questions I'd already answered in questionnaires leading up to our meeting. They stress the importance of having a support team -- however, you're not allowed to contact them during your stay. I was able to call my mom once while I was there and had to leave a voicemail. Courtney told me my mom had called back, but Courtney never returned the call. There are many staff who care and try to help the best they can. However, it seems like Curawest's procedures and policies do not support their efforts, and they're afraid of getting fired. That's a disservice to the residents and to capable staff members.
