This is an Assisted Living Facility (& other levels of care) in Lynchburg, VA…read more I recently visited a friend who moved there. The staff was very friendly & helpful. It was clean & neat. They have lots of activites set up for the residents. (I won 75 cents at bingo!) The food seemed good as I ate breakfast with her one morning. There is a nice live/work/play community across the street with plenty of shops & restaurants. Good greenspaces nearby. Obviously, you would want to check it out yourself if you need this type of care for yourself or a loved one, but it seems to be the best choice in the area.

The elderly need to be able to age in place. The Summit wants to administer the bare essentials of providing for the elderly. If they perceive the resident may need a little more help, they're out of there. Unfortunately, over the years The Summit transitioned from being an assisted living to a glorified babysitter for the elderly.
