From being put on priority lists with no information of true placement, to dog specialist evaluations with no evidence, to allowing customers to visit as she feels at the spur of the moment, the ambiguity is painful and stressful. The worst part is how the owner lies. You will be promised a dog, pay for it, and most likely the owner will keep the animal you choose or sell it to someone else for false reasons that other American Kennel Clubs can verify. The animal you may have feel in love with and paid for the day you may pick it up and there is nothing more heartbreaking. All the owner will sell is the dogs she wants to get rid of. So please, I beg of you to avoid California Sunshine Beagles. Ignore the website pictures and don't believe the dogs you if you visit will one day come home with you. For Jill, this facility is about not making money, it's about hurting people's hearts. I do not recommend anyone to stop on by and give this place a try!

As a puppy when we got him he was super cute and sweet also, although he did have a lot of ticks on him. But other than that he was healthy and super sweet with no health problems. I just wanted to update our review to know that these dogs are not just cute as puppies, but such a joy as they get older too. I will be definitely reaching out to these guys again in the future when we are ready for another Golden. I know they don't live forever, so when our oldest one passes and we're ready for another dog, I know we will reach out to these guys.

This was especially frustrating because I was previously shown another poodle and led to believe that was what my puppy's mom looked like, which turned out to be misleading. As a buyer who paid a significant amount for my puppy, I do not think it is unreasonable to ask for basic transparency about the dog's parents. When I first got her, she also had ear infections I had to get her treatment for. Now, she is loved and doing well, but my experience with communication and honesty after purchase was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this breeder to anyone who expects clear information, responsiveness, and transparency. Looking back, this place seems more like a puppy mill judging by how dirty the kennels were, and crowded their labs were in a single kennel with dirt/poo smears they were licking.
