Mohammed is just the nicest man and very knowledgeable about framing. In a matter of a few minutes he chose the perfect mats and frame for my tile, gave me a discount on the price, and it was ready and gorgeous the next day! I will absolutely take any future framing jobs to H&M!

I went to this shop, and paid the owner in full for the completion of my picture. He told me it would be ready in ten days. After two weeks I went back to what I thought was to pick up my picture. The owner said that the picture was not ready yet. He went on and on saying that the price he quoted me was half the price it should be. I returned back the third week and he tried to tell me that I didn't pay for the boarders for the picture. I had a picture copy on my phone of exactly what I ordered and paid for. One month later I went to his shop again to pick up my picture. He said " I'm not giving it to you." He insinuated, I called him a racist, I never said that, He followed up by saying that if the black community on 125th Street heard you say that I am a racist ,they would spit in your face. He then screamed at me "To Get The Fuck Out Of His Shop," and then called me a Bitch! There isn't enough soap to wash off the dirt he inflicted upon me. It is my opinion and experience that all should stay away from H&M Art and Home Decor at 17 East 125th Street New York, NY 10035.

Forget about the one out in Riverhead. My current hobbies are building scale plastic model and flying model rockets. These are in one aisle that I make a beeline for when I come to the store. The selection is not great, but adequate. The plastic models go on 40% off sales a few times a year and the model rockets & supplies are usually discounted 30% off MSRP. I wait for the annual clearance sale, when they knock off as much as 75% from the already discounted prices. There are also items in the clearance area with prices slashed as much as 90%. Those are usually junky, returned merchandise or damaged goods, but if you have the time to browse through there, you might come up with some gems on occasion.

DD needed fabric for her craft project and was able to find some. Unfortunately, they were either short staffed and had no one working in the department. We waited a while and the service bell was busted so we left. For scrapbooking, their stickers are decently priced and of course always better when on sale. There is a large selection of merchandise throughout the store, a lot of seasonal and religious items. We found ourselves making a wrong turn into the parking lot (into Whole Foods) but the parking lots are not connected so had to come out and make the correct turn. If someone is looking for a job, I think they can use your help (that is if they're hiring).

It's my way of thanking them for their service and also sharing my experience with others. I needed clear Acrylic stands with different sizes. I looked everywhere but couldn't find the ones and sizes I wanted; therefore, I decided to find a place where they could customize the stands for me. After a lot of searches, I found Wilson Moulding that they accept customized orders. Since the place is in New York and I live in California, I was worried that they might not accept my order but to just give it a try, I called them and they gladly accepted my order. I just had to do a clear drawing of what I wanted with the sizes, dimensions, and quantity and email them. I wasn't worried about the quality of their work since I had visited their website and saw their items but I was worried about packaging and shipping time. I needed them urgently for my party and had only a week left till he party. They had finished my order and sent me so quickly that I got them in less than a week. I was amazed with their way of packaging and service. It was very professional. Every piece is flawless and beautiful. Thank you so much Wilson Moulding for the best customer service and amazing stands that you made for me. I am loving them and they are above my expectations. Now I found a place where I can turn my imaginations into reality. Definitely recommend this place.

I went to Gallery 25 on 2/1/25 to have some vintage baseball cards framed. I met Chris, who is a…read morevery friendly guy and will talk your ears off. Chris told me that this would take 2 weeks to complete. If by 2 weeks, he meant 10 weeks, then it was 2 weeks. No matter how many times I called, nobody EVER picks up the phone, so I had to keep going in to his shop (I live 25 minutes away). I asked to have pictures of the unfinished product sent to me before the work was completed to make sure I liked it, and everything was the way I wanted it (spacing, borders, colors, etc.) After 8 weeks, I finally got an email of the pictures, and it was wrong so the layout had to be changed. Finally, after 10 weeks, after the changes, I picked up the frame. Then, I gave him much more expensive cards ($2,000) to frame and told him that this can't take 10 weeks. He assured me that this time it would only take two weeks. I told him that this frame had to be the same size as the last one since I would be displaying them together. I called after 2 weeks to see if it was done, and as usual, nobody picked up the phone, so I left a message. I said the same thing as before. Make sure you send me pictures before you seal up the frame. Of course, nobody called me back, I called 4 more times that week, left 4 more messages...not ONE call back. Then, suddenly, I get an email that the frame is done. I went in and picked it up, brought it home and noticed that not only was this frame bigger than the first one, but the borders/frames around the cards were MUCH bigger than the first ones, so the white borders of the cards could not be seen. It made the cards look much smaller. They do not look like real baseball cards; they look like imitations and copies that I've seen online. The spacing of the cards in relation to the engraved plaque was off as well. I emailed Chris again (since there is no point in calling), and he told me that he was NOT going to redo the piece and it looked just fine to him. He didn't even want to hear what the issues were. It could have been a small fix. I would have even been willing to keep the larger frame but at least change the borders around the cards to they look real. Maybe it looked fine to him, but he is in the framing business, not the baseball card business. It was not what I wanted or asked for. You can see the difference in the 2 pieces. One has a slight orange frame around the card for a nice hint of color, while you can still see the white borders, and the other where the white borders are completely covered up and there is a dominating large gray frame around the card. The two look nothing alike. I was going to sue him but it wasn't worth the filing fees, or my time for $230, which I never even got a receipt for since I paid cash. So, if you want to wait 4 times longer than it should normally take for your merchandise to be completed, have your calls ignored, have zero communication with who is doing the work, and have them make their own decisions as to how YOUR items come out.... then this is your place.
