You can't move, you can't see around you. You rely strictly on your spotter. But more importantly.... Rusty Wallace asked for my feedback and even gave an email for complaints. This was my reply.: My husband was in significant pain for his whole ride of 10 laps.  He told me later that he almost bought 20 more laps, and boy was he glad he didn't.  The pain was unbearable. He was hyperventilating at one point.  He clearly told the guy that the car was too small, and they simply told him "oh well, all the cars are the same". The seats were literally poking into his rib cage and the steering wheel was literally pressed into his stomach.  Naturally he had difficulty steering the car.  His arms were unable to move from his sides. He is 6' and 215# and clearly fell within your guidelines of height and weight.  His chest and waist are well below 52".     Additionally, many of us in the stands felt his car was a dud and had problems.  #10. The "plain" one without green design on it.  It had already spun out twice in former laps with other drivers and the rear end was shaking. When he accelerated, this car barely moved.  He was passed by everyone including those side by side accelerating at the same time as him.  Another driver after him didn't fit in the car, and was moved into another car.  And when my husband saw another person driving this same car after him, unable to get this car to accelerate well, his response was.... "This guys putzing around".  I will never pay to use rusty wallace again.  I will not allow any of my 4 boys to do this experience with you, Nor will I ever recommended your company.  It's insane you're representatives would encourage a human to be in severe pain.  After his ride he told another rep of his pain and difficulties and they just threw their hands in the air with their clipboard and told him, "oh well, he had the same problem".  How incredibly rude.  Now you should know, my husband is not new to racing or cars.  He's been doing it since the late 60's and was previously part of a pit crew.  Hence the reason we thought he would like this.   But to knowingly inflict pain on another human being is just downright mean and incredibly inhumane.  Of course I have it all on video because we have been exited about this and wanted to record a memory. Some memory. . ADDITIONALLY, another patron asked about this company and this particular raceway on Rusty Wallace Facebook page. I gave him this same opinion. Rusty Wallace deleted my negative feedback and even blocked me from further commenting. And I still have not heard back from their company either. It took about a day for the rib pain to subside on my husband. This is an experience better suited for smaller thinner men like horse jockeys.

Bland, greasy, and WAY overpriced. The spiral chips/potatoes on a stick were CRAZY overpriced. Seriously, $5 for one fried potato, while a 10-lb bag sells for $4? Highway robbery. Also, I'd gotten the same fried potatoes in Prague for 50 cents. Fifty CZECH cents. This overpricing seemed to be the theme for the majority of vendors and food trucks. Honestly, if I'd paid full price for a ticket and found nearly NO samples and all expensive food, I'd have been pissed. Super disappointed.

One special discovery during this event was Masterchef Johndavid Hensley of CJ's American Grill....a restaurant sponsoring and contributing to the event...Chef Hensley was a judge of the Potato Salad contest that showed an incredible amount of grace and enthusiasm that made everyone feel like a winner. His charm created a standing ovation and applause for a humorous mash potato eating contest that reminded me of a Coney Island Hotdog tradition.... All in all, a terrific day of fun that there should be more of on the North Fork...

Helluva race! A 70k run from Rocky Point to Hampton Bays, which you can run solo or as a relay…read moreteam. It's separated into five different legs, from 6.75 to 10.5 miles for each, with an aid station at the end of each leg. This is an assisted race (for solo runners), so you can bring drop bags to pick up at each station. The aid stations themselves were packed with snacks, Hammer Gels, Heed, water, first aid, portos and more. They really made it easy for a first-timer and Jen (organizer) was super encouraging and helpful at every stop (I took my sweet time). As for the race itself, wow. So. Much. Fun. Darting through trees, dodging rocks and debris on the trails, 3k ft of elevation, running (slowly) through the charred remains of the pine barrens in Brookhaven... in no way did it feel like a boring road race (sorrynotsorry) and it was exciting at every turn. Only once did I want to escape and that's really due to the fact I ate a bean burrito upon entering Leg #3 aka the beast. Poor decision, Drew. Overall, David and Jen did a great job and it was an insanely fun day. Thanks to all the volunteers and everyone else who put hard work into making this happen (marking 43 miles of trails can't be easy). Another big shout out to all the other competitors who were super friendly and gave it their all. Try it. Try a leg of it. You won't get lost and will have a great time. Fun fact: Paumanok is the Native American name for Long Island

The most incredible experience!…read more As a 40th birthday gift from Hubs and Bubs, I finally got to jump out of a plane. I have talked about doing this for years, and even have done daring things, but I had yet to do it, until now. GoJump made this experience pretty quick, seamless and made you feel super comfortable given the high intensity of the activity. You fill out the waiver on the tablet which was to the left when you walk in. After that's complete, you check in over at the front desk. You settle up the final bill there because thats where you can pick if you want pictures/video and what package you would like. There is one with just a handcam and then the second is the handcam and another jumper filming you from an outside POV. I just did the handcam which was sufficent enough. It came with a TON of stills of me along my skydiving journey. It also came with an edited video which first features the jump itself, and then a video of the whole experience from being harnessed up to the jump itself. Shout out to Steve, the COO, who was our harness guy. Having him give me the background of the whole operation added that much more to the whole thing. Coming in and sticking around New York while they set up their newest location makes me hold a lot of respect for the whole operation. He was just a super cool dude as well. Rohrbeck was my instructor and he was the dopest! He made me feel super comfortable from the jump. He also made sure Hubs and I got a picture at the very beginning before taking me up. It's really indescribable. A 10 minute flight takes you 8000 feet up. It was the nicest day. I could see to connecticut. I looked over the beach. I saw Long Island in a way I never thought I would see it before and it was even more beautiful. I know I hate on LI sometimes, but it is part of me and at that moment I was proud.

Subject: Huge Thanks to Tim!…read more Just wanted to pass along a big thank you -- I had the chance to do a tandem jump with Tim, and he was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, he made the whole experience feel fun, safe, and unforgettable. His energy, confidence, and calm made all the difference. You've got a real gem on your team. Please thank him for me -- he truly made it super special. I'll be telling everyone to book with GoJump!
