There is no better way to describe Roly (owner) and his daughter Eileen than professional, helpful and two of the kindest people I've ever met! It never fails that whenever day we go in (very often) we are always welcomed with smiles and don't get me started on the knowledge! My fiancé and I had ZERO idea of how to even begin the aquarium hobby, but with the help of Roly and Eileen we are at least amateur hobbyists. The amount that they both have taught us along this journey is nothing less than impressive and we are extremely grateful!! I recommend this store to absolutely everyone! And if you are in the Hialeah/Miami Lakes area this should be your one and only go to place! They have everything from salt and fresh water to fill/refill your tanks, live sand, beautiful live rock, anemones, corals, and of course the must beautiful and exotic fish for fresh water and saltwater tanks! If you have very large tanks they can even provide maintenance services to help take that off your plate! To sum it up, they have, and do IT ALL! We could not be happier and more proud than to call this our neighborhood store! Check them out and I assure you this review will live up to its expectations!

My nephew was so saddened by this and I just purchased the tank yesterday with the filter and axolotls and they can't do anything for me...before you walk out of this store make sure what you are buying is working, because if it doesn't don't expect them to help you out at all!!! I took my Quaker Cosmo to Beverly's on Friday .. It's not…read morethe first time I have been there . I called and spoke to Yaya and told her we were going to go to take Cosmo to cut his nails .. I asked if Ashley was there since she has cut his nails before. She said she was there that I could bring him and be there before 5 as they would not do after 5pm. I arrived close to 430 .. the girl in register I think her name was Ary or Aly . She asked me and I told her Cosmo was just doing Nails .. she charged me $15 plus tax . Then Ashley and another lady came and took Cosmo in his travel cage ... they were in there awhile then came out and gave him to me, Ashley told me his nails bleed as they were long she said and said veins get longer as nails get long too .. she said they put clotting powder .. never mentioned wings .. so me and my daughter left with Cosmo .. when I got home took him outa cage and he flew well he didn't he fell and hit himself against wall! I tht it was pain form mate being squeezed to do nails or idk ... but then we finally noticed his wings were cut .. they were long and beautiful and much needed ! I cannot believe they would do this when i clearly said nails .. I called Beverly's and asked to speak with Ashley and they put her on phone . I told her that when I got home Cosmo flew and fell down almost immediately and hit himself on wall .. I told her why did they cut his wings when we only asked for nail trim ? She said that's what she was told . Idk what kind of place is so irresponsible with something so delicate and important ! It's my birds life .. it's like taking away my legs .. he can't fly and now is getting injured has fallen 3 times ..I just beg you to please make a form where the Customer fills out as to what it is they are requesting .. nails or wings or both ! This is not acceptable to do this to my bird or anyone's ! And we won't talk about the nails, they look like lit matchsticks .. edges are kinda black and he seems to be in pain .. cut way too much ! How sad that the would do this to one's pet huh?

She asked me what I wanted and not "how can I help you." I asked for Royal Canin dog food, her reply, "I don't carry that brand, go to a regular supermarket for that". Then she told me she only carries high end dog food and not cheap food. I thanked her and walked out. Royal Canin isn't cheap nor is it found in regular supermarkets. Mary's demeanor was pretty rude. Not everything was perfect every go around, but when I had issues, the employees and owner were very quick to answer emails, phone calls, and all my questions. I am extremely happy to have the option of shopping a quality store rather than have to hunt around for a variety of hobbyists and breeders. Here are the Pros and Cons of Snakes at Sunset- PROS: -relatively low prices for quality animals -reasonably priced and reliable shipping -safe and humane packaging -knowledgeable and helpful staff -large variety of animals and availability -all animals healthy, happy, and well cared for CONS: -purchasing sight unseen -their shipping department can be a little unpredictable. Twice I've had shipments sent on dates I did not request. Overall this seems like a large supplier that truly cares about their animals. I love my purchases and will continue to shop at this business. A+

Update: they cancelled my order for having the audacity to point out their policy page and policy…read morepopup at checkout don't match. This place is run by little children that can't take critical advice. Their email today is back to below 40 they can't ship. They can't even keep their story straight in their responses for one day to the next. Is it 50 or 40? The world may never know. Then they lied when I called saying reptmart.com isn't them when the emails come from their domain support@snakesatsunset.com After their behavior I'd wager the spoofed website reptmarts.com is really them trying to scam people too. They need to fix their reptmart website's shipping info/policy page. On their shipping policy page it says they ship to a fedex hub if night time lows are below 40 while a popup during purchase says below 50 (or so they claim; I didn't realize I was supposed to be proofreading their website for typos or inconsistency during checkout... and the one they're going by is the one you can't double check later, go figure ‍) ... I'm not appreciative of them taking extra days to double check if sending it to a hub is ok when I already checked the disclosure agreeing to it 5 days ago. It might be 1 degree below their super secretive checkout only popup policy for the next 2 days here and the way they're dragging it out seems like it's going to be irrelevant and warm again by the time they ship it anyway, but I'm guessing they'll send it to the hub anyway even if the forecast changes by the time they decide to do something besides send me redundant emails for a week. They have you pay $60 for overnight shipping then play games dragging it out for much longer than needed over 1 degree on a mismatched policy you've already agreed to at checkout. Their tone is off putting too, like I'm dim for not catching the discrepancy at checkout. Maybe I am for shopping at a website that's full of typos and contradicting info, so I won't make the mistake again.
