I am very angry about taking my dogs to the groomer yesterday at Ruff Life Grooming! I have taken Mario there for about 5 years and when we got Lula she started going. Every time I go there I have A long conversation with the lady and she says is this the first time ,,, uh no, I just chalked it up to her having a bad memory because I like to make excuses for people because I'm too nice. Then she pulls their card and sees all their visits and still says nothing. And it's not that she is so busy she can't remember I just think she is being rude to me. That's fine I'm used to that , that's the way people have always treated me my whole life but I put up with it because she is very convenient to where I live which is down 150 . Her store is near the Welcome Arcadia intersection. So anyway I called last Thursday to get an appointment and she said I could come this Wednesday at 8:30... so I write it on the calendar and excitedly tell everyone. Yesterday morning comes and she is not there and so we wait and finally she shows up at 10 til 9 with her two big dogs and just looks at us waiting for her and doesn't speak and just goes in. So we get out and take our dogs in and she says so who do you have? I said Mario and Lula and she said have they ever been here , as usual I said yes they always come here and I have my husband standing there with me that is 6'6 that always comes with me and I think you'd remember him as well! I mean come on! Like there's a lot of 6'6 men with white shitzu and a black shitpoo. She said I wasn't here because I didn't have an appointment til 9.... I was like I AM Your appointment!!!!! She goes on and says she is going to give HER dogs a bath..........So I tell her to cut them short. ....We leave. I get a call at 12 to come get them. I'm there by 12 : 15. The bill was $85 , I see my dogs and I was angry because she didn't cut Lula short she still has long hair even on her butthole! But she has now a sore on her eyelid where it looks like she nipped her with the sheers because it's red and swollen and the hair is shorter on that eye so that is the only place she looks as though her hair has been cut. On top of that she was late and she is always rude and acts like she never knows me , so when I zipped my card this time I only tipped her 10%. Because I was shocked to see it looked as though her hair had not been cut! She must have been busy doing her dogs the whole time because there was no other dogs there. Anyway..So the tip should have been $8.50 . But it was $13.26 on my receipt that didn't come til much later,,which doesn't make sense. .....I'll get back to that but anyway Because even if I had pressed 15% it would have been $12.75 based off of $85. But the tip entered was $13.26 which would have been a custom amount that I did not enter!!!!She has the Square that you slide on a ipad and then you chose a button of 10,15,20 ,30% tip or custom and since I was mad and in a hurry I pressed 10%. I noticed that my receipt didn't come through on my messages till almost 15 minutes later when I was almost pulling into the driveway. Usually everywhere else it is immediate!!!!! I looked at my receipt this morning and noticed that it is not the correct amount for a 10% tip!!! . She must have went in and changed it after I left because like I said the receipt never sent to me til much later and wasn't the 10% I selected. It wasn't even 15% , it was a custom amount which I wouldn't have had time to do because I was mad and had two dogs wrapped around my legs! I am always a great tipper but she was a horrible store owner and was late and didn't acknowledge I had an appointment and acts as though she never knows who I am and it's not a big business and I have come there for YEARS, and she didn't even cut my dogs hair so I didn't feel like she deserved a tip larger than 10%. I really just wanted to scream at her and demand to only pay for the one dogs hair cut since only one actually got a hair cut. But she had to be greedy..!!!!Any thoughts on what you think I should do!? Everyone of my friends say it is illegal to change someone's card tip and that I should call the Better Business Bureau on her and tell everyone not to go there!!!! read more
