Ken is the best! I've been to other groomers and he always does the best job: a clean and even cut. Our dog has allergies so she's very sensitive. He uses gentle shampoos so that's one thing we really like about his services. Our dog also has ear infections constantly and he always does a good job of cleaning her ears and trimming the hair around them (which can get pretty crusty). The best part is that he's in a mobile grooming-truck, he parks in front of our apartment, all we have to do is walk our dog out the door, and he brings her back looking great. Hands down Ken is the best groomer... EVER!! I found Ken after leaving my dog at Southpark Doggie Daycare for a couple days. If you've ever left your pet at a daycare, they come back stinky. So I had her groomed right before I picked her up, and she looked perfect! I've had problems before with other groomers, they just didn't know how to cut her face right even though I would try and explain what I wanted, but Ken does an amazing job and really listens to what you want. So I started taking her to Ken once a month while he was at Southpark. Now Southpark was not convenient to my place, although I lived in DTLA it was on the opposite side of where I lived with many other groomers in between. But Ken always delivers, so I just kept going. Recently, Ken left Southpark and started his own mobile pet spa, which is even better! Still the great quality of grooming, but mobile and way more convenient. I also like the fact he doesn't add the bandanas or ribbons, I personally think they are pointless (just saying), but I'm sure he has them if you're all about them. Sent a text (as instructed to do on the website) asking about availability. One hour later, I get a reply asking for a picture of my dog and condition of her hair because he had a hurt finger. I replied within 5 minutes with a picture and all of the information requested. I didn't hear back for SIX hours, in which he said he couldn't do it because of his finger injury. Really dude? Why couldn't you just say that up front instead of me wasting an entire day waiting for you and not calling anywhere else? Not exactly the five star customer service I was reading about.
