(don't show this to my kids ) So, imagine my immense relief and satisfaction when I found this cute, little place way out in the country. (No busy roads or highways to worry about, or heavy traffic to scare your pooch) These people know how to take care of your fur babies! Crystal does an amazing job with grooming our dogs that we wouldn't even consider taking them anywhere else. Even though it's a boarding/grooming/doggie daycare facility, the place is always clean and smells fresh! I don't know how they do that! The staff is always courteous and friendly, allowing you to explain exactly what you want your babies to look like after grooming. We've been going for a while now and have never been disappointed. NEVER is a strong word, eh? For your peace of mind, there are two sides to the Hound Lounge, one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs (or maybe to keep some separated who don't get along well with other dogs) Also, there are giant doggie beds! Seriously, I could sleep on one! I love that they try to make the dogs as comfy as possible while their away from home and you. Now, I know what you're thinking. Something this great is probably way too expensive, right? WRONG! Give 'em a call. Their prices are better than anywhere else we tried before. (Pet Smart grooming? Don't get me started!) Just as an FYI, this is NOT a mobile grooming service, but it's so worth the drive!

I also love the little reports we get along the way where Hannah tells us how Bruno's stay was as well, very informative and helpful and great for owners so we can let Hannah know how best to accommodate our furball. Hannah has a few dogs of her own and they are all very well trained and you just know your family is in great hands with her. And I know she does a great job too because Bruno does not want to come back home when we go pick him up! Barkside is definitely Bruno approved!!
