I immediately drove it to Varden's for a repair estimate. Not only were they quick to check the damage to my car, but they are a select provider for vehicles insured by State Farm and Farm Bureau. Using either of those insurances to cover the cost of the repairs puts you at the head of the line and repairs start immediately. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. The star for value was not verified. I don't know what the expected cost of this repair should have been. This is the first accident I've had to have repaired in several weeks. Had a terrible experience here. I had to get my insurance company to force them to fix it and they sent it to the shop in columbia to fix it correctly. This whole ordeal lasted almost 2.5 months. In about May 2025, I brought my 2012 Mercedes -Benz 350 ML with 4 wheel drive into their shop. I was pretty discouraged about having swiped a solid telephone pole ( to avoid another car aiming at me) that crunched the right side of my car. Matt helped me understand that if I sold the car back to the insurers for the $12,000 offered, then I could not expect to be able to buy it back from the insurer without the notation that the car was totaled. This dismayed me because I wanted to keep the car. Jump forward to March 2026. I returned to Nashville Collision to get my car returned and pay for it personally. In the interim, I accepted the estimated $7000 from my insurance so I could keep my car, which only had about 50,000 miles on it and ran like a top. I asked Matt if his estimate from the prior year was still good. He said yes! I took my car in and was dazzled by its beautiful condition when I picked it up around April 8, 2026. It looks brand new. They fixed a few things that I had not realized were broken like my taillight and a few scratches. They installed brand new OEM passenger side doors so all of the work is still OEM quality. They detailed the car inside and out, making it as clean and sparkling as it was when I bought it in 2013. The team was patient and always courteous to me. I am so glad I decided to keep my car and use Nashville Collision, a certified Mercedes body work shop, to repair my car!! I got more value than I could have dreamed that I would get. I found them via a cold Internet search and took a risk in calling. It was refreshing to speak with Matt, who has been nothing but kind and professional and extremely helpful with my questions and most importantly the handling of my vehicle. This was an insurance job and Nashville Collision was able to take care of my issues and work around some items Progressive refused to address (horrible auto insurance per my neighbor who caused the auto damage)! The process took longer than expected (due to Progressive) and Matt continued to keep me well informed via clear communication by phone call, email and texts (which I truly appreciate). This company provides great value. Upon pick up, my car was ready and received a great detailing to look as shiny and new as possible--a great added touch of service! Communication is poor, leaving you feeling like you must hound them for updates. My car was with them for 5 business days, during which they only worked on it for 3 to 4 hours and failed to fully repair it. Scheduling an appointment feels pointless. I booked a diagnostic test for my main and auxiliary batteries 3 days ahead of a Thursday appointment. I confirmed the appointment the day before. When I dropped it off Thursday morning, I was assured I'd receive an update "maybe after lunch time." By the end of the day, I received no update from them and when I stopped by the shop, I could see that my vehicle had been untouched. I reiterated my need for the car by Monday, and they said they'd try to look into it the next day. On Friday, I sent a polite reminder and received a curt response saying they prioritize repairs as they arrive. It became clear that appointments are just window dressing. They finally completed the battery replacement on Friday but then found what they believed was an issue causing a battery drain, requiring more diagnostics. A delay in identifying that problem extended my car's time with them. By end of day the following Monday, I had heard nothing from them. On Tuesday, I asked for an update and was promised to be provided a status update before end of day, but they failed to provide any kind of update. On Wednesday, I pressed for an update again, reminding them of the delays. They finally had a tech spend a couple more hours doing diagnostics but still couldn't pinpoint the issue and stated they would need more time (and money) to troubleshoot. After 5 days and minimal progress, I decided to retrieve my vehicle. A nearby Mercedes dealership charged me for diagnostics and found NO issues! Given my experience, I do not trust this shop for future work. They've lost my business and have shown a troubling lack of efficiency and a customer centric focus. From previous reviews, I've noticed that the shop's ownership likes to debate negative reviews (and they get the last word). I've provided all the facts accurately and if Yelp allowed more space for reviews, I'd give you even more details. For potential customers: be wary. They treat new customers poorly, break promises and take too long to perform basic maintenance. Save yourself the hassle--go elsewhere.

I wanted to research before I left this review…read more I took my shop here because it was still under warranty and they were on the list. I had it towed there as to not cause anymore damage, I had ran the codes already left it in the car for them. After he inspects it. (187.00 lol) He calls and says warranty doesn't cover physical damage and that the connector wires were chewed by an animal. I mean how do you even know that. You could have just told them they weren't working, my thoughts but I don't know that process. He tells me it's going to be $600.00 was the first quote , which that's half my paycheck ( I'm like a lot of single women scraping by) He then says he got the part a little cheaper and I believe he quoted me $500.00. Total bill ended up being $399.00 of that LABOR! Which I found out the part can be bought for $24.00 my landlord sent me a screenshot and a video of the repair that he could have done in roughly 8 mins. He calls me after repair is made and says it needs another wire and that was $200 more. I said no thank you I will figure it out. He said it was drivable. The car is returned to me not completely fixed with check engine light on because I wasn't paying him another dime. So I set up a tow home because it's covered and he says well it jumps off. I started thinking if the battery wasn't connected it probably needed just started and driven which was the case. He automatically goes to well it's dead you can bring one and I will put it in for $87.00. WHATEVER! He didn't even know if it was truly bad and when I said doesn't it just need driven. He said well I don't know about that. You're an expensive mechanic and can't figure that out and naive gullible me did. I researched the warranty and it's in the shops best interest to not get paid by them as they don't pay their ridiculous prices, they are set. So it's basically in their best interest for the shop and the warranty company for customer to pay out of pocket. I have had this car for almost two years and have put maybe 7000 miles on it. I pay monthly for the warranty that I was told covers bumper to bumper. LIES I feel very taken advantage of and I'm definitely learning my lesson from this. I hope this just encourages someone to do your due diligence before handing your car over to people that are going to take advantage of you. Oh when I told him my battery was fine he said oh well we started it and ran it for an hour. What? That sounds like bullshit to me.
