Personal favourites of mine of mine for starters (if they have any) are the Crystal Balls or stuffed chicken wings. Mains I usually attack any of their massamam curries or the tom yum soup. The staff are always around and looking to serve you and fill up your water. Another great thing about Thai Ways is that it is BYO and the closest bottle shop is about ten meters down the street. The food is pretty simple, not totally authentic as far as other Thai restaurants around Brisbane but that probably helps in keeping the prices down. That and its an absolute pleasure to dine there. They alway ask if you want your meal mild, medium, or hot so if you're not a chilli fan you don't have to worry. I wish their kitchen stayed open later, though, because even though they're open until 9:30, last orders are at 8:15. I love their vegetarian red curry and vegetarian pad thai, and my meat-eating friends recommend the thai beef salad and duck curry. It's reasonably priced, friendly, and delicious and obviously has a loyal following since it's still going after so long. There's short-term parking on the street out the front so you can dash in and grab your order, and if you want to eat in there's parking out the back.
