My attempt to dress like a cowboy. I'm certainly not a cowboy by any means, but I like the look. So I stopped by on a Sunday about an hour before close and had no problem parking in their spacious lot. First off, I was impressed by how big Cavender's is and the wide selection they have. The name doesn't do it justice. It's a lot more than boots. Clothes, belts, pants, hats, decor, and more. For both men and women. I ended up buying a t-shirt, two button-up shirts, and two belts. The staff overall was good. I was approached and asked if I needed help. I was told about a sale without asking. Overall, friendly and attentive. The prices aren't cheap. I spent a pretty penny. Time will tell if it was worth it. But at least now, I was happy with my purchase. Make sure to sign up for their email list for promotions (and to rack up points for future discounts).

Oh, and just a note in reference to "Fashion C's" review, while Free People and Betsy Johnson have great designs, the clothes are a bit over-priced for the poor quality of their clothing. Perhaps not the most tasteful thing to have on the set, and yet there it is. The clothes are trendy, okay priced, but not wonderfully made. Given that it was a special event (Mistletoe Madness), you would've thought that they'd hire more help. They were disastrously understaffed and one "changing room" was not cutting it. The quotation marks around the word "changing room" are there because it was really just a bathroom. And evidently there was some mysterious and elusive list that you had to get on to use the bathro, err. . .dressing room, but none of the sales associates bother even offering to put my name on the list even as I sat there with a dress in my hand waiting by the bathroom door. They do have a smaller men's section that contains seemingly only British style button-down shirts. Many of them were a bit on the girly side with way too much floral work, but that seems to be all the rage with hipsters so I'm sure they do well. Evidently they also have another store in the Woodlands (or was it Katy?) that carries the same stuff. While the clothes were pretty cute, some of it was a bit out there and it was much too trendy for my tastes. I just cannot justify spending that much money on something that is such a fashion statement and will be "out" next season.

This is now one of their flagship locations. While I don't shop at Lululemon very often, I had seen the store upgrades broadcasted all over social media and when one of the run clubs that I follow had a one day activation partnership, I decided to pay a visit. The store itself is nice. The ceilings are high, they have a lot of products, including a range of sizes, and there are many fitting rooms equipped with plenty of mirrors, leaving no wait in line. The not so nice thing about this location was the behavior of the staff. Almost everyone working in the store seemed like they were 16 years old. The age isn't an issue, but while I was trying on a few items, I could hear them laughing and making jokes to themselves over their head sets. It just felt kind of unprofessional. I honestly don't really shop in store any more so this might not be exclusive to this location but it wasn't the best.

Nothing is worse than trying to dig through clothes in a messy, unorganized store. It's set up pretty similarly to other locations. They usually have a good playlist going and the staff is always nice. I almost always find something at this store. I've purchased clothing and accessories. Their shoe section is pretty large and they apparently have a good selection of Hoka shoes. I haven't shopped for home goods, but they seem to have a good variety. I really love this location. It beats going out to Sugar Land or Clear Lake.
