We stopped by for beignets and coffee. (Stellar beignets served steaming hot at the counter.) Limited menu but it's beignet all day, baby. Hot strong chicory coffee and you are set on a chilly afternoon. It's in the old Subway space but feels much more spacious. We will be back for biscuits and gravy (morning) and jambalaya (lunch/dinner). Service was excellent - eat local!

We visited within the last week to try something new and different. We started off with the nachos…read moreand added blackened chicken to them. They were delicious and a little different as they were served in a flour tortilla bowl. (This allowed the toppings and cheese to better coat more of the chips!) We liked that the Cajun entrees have options for small/medium/large, and they even offer a deal on 3 smalls. (Like a sampler!) I tried the medium seafood gumbo and a small red beans and rice. My husband got chicken wings and red beans and rice and jambalaya. Wings were ok, but he said the jambalaya and red beans and rice were "awesome!" I liked the gumbo but wished I had gotten the larger red beans and rice. So good!!! So flavorful. Beignets were freshly made and also delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We visited on a snowy Saturday, so not many people when we arrived. The decor is New Orleans themed and fun, with different rooms and different features. There were just two of us, but they had lots of room to accommodate groups. We enjoyed everything and will definitely return for more delicious Cajun food!

We were taken to a fun room resembling a spot under a willow tree with a night sky above. Our waitress came over a few minutes later to take drink orders & questions & throughout the dinner she was excellent. Unfortunately the area was dark & hard to read the menu - I highly recommend candles on the table to make for a more intimate setting. Then we got our food. My bf ordered a po boy sandwich hoping to relive an experience he had elsewhere, but sadly he felt the sandwich just resembled that of a McDonald's fish sandwich lacking Cajun flavors. I ordered the jambalaya, which had a pretty good portion size, and was kind of tasty but went downhill as the few scraps of sausage were only on top & the flavors didn't get mixed in well with the rest of it. I recommend a white rice option. We also started getting excited about corn bread but were very disappointed as we were told they have it 'sometimes' but we missed out. I also don't understand the music selection as it sounded like a night club. I doubt we will return, which is sad as this place seems to have potential.
