I appreciate them doing a courtesy inspection on my car each time it is in, they never have made me feel pressured to do any additional work unless I wanted it done. I've been here a few times now, including for oil changes. Each visit I know I am in good hands. They even offer a courtesy vehicle and will drive you where you need to go. They might be priced higher than some surrounding shops, but the service you receive is quality.

The price of replacing my radiator had me feeling physically sick for days because I had no idea if it would total my car or not. They worked around the budget that I had said to find the most workable price for me, and then when my transmission shot in my car 2 weeks later, they found a way to connect a minor transmission repair to my radiator and gave it to me for free. Saving me, what could have been, 100-1k at other stores. Their customer service is off the charts, very knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to bring my car here for the coming years.

I took my car to another local repair shop I always went to and trusted, they were bought out…read morerecently. They quoted all kinds of things to fix, some I believed, some were outright lies! One lie was that the battery needed to be replaced and they would happily do that for $425, yeah, I bet you would! The problem was THEY had just replaced the battery 14 months earlier (much cheaper then) when the shop was under different ownership and it had a 4 or 5-year warranty! Immediately I was suspicious. They also said I needed a brake job, alignment, motor mounts, and a new power steering pump. The power steering pump was quoted at over $2000 total, the labor alone was quoted at about $1500! How many hours or days does this one job take to justify $1500? I am no expert, but it would seem they probably get around $150 per hour, but certainly not more than $175, so $1500 would mean 8- 10 hours! I looked up how long the job takes online for my car and found it can take about 3.5 hours, and an experienced mechanic can do it in just over an hour or two so not sure what that place is doing. After doing my own research I knew I had to go somewhere else. I knew the brakes and the power steering needed to be addressed so I called Plaza. I spoke to Justin who was extremely helpful and professional and made an appointment for the next day and dropped the car the evening before. I asked them to do the brakes and alignment after getting a quote. I also requested that, if at all possible, to have my car finished by 3 pm, they called at 2 pm and it was ready! They did the brakes and alignment for quite a bit less than the other shop quoted, checked my battery which it turns out is fine, and gave me a quote to fix the power steering that was a FULL $800 cheaper (parts and labor) than the other shop quoted and that is without the coupon online. I will be calling Plaza in a few months to do the power steering pump. I think I have found my new car repair shop!

Whatever is wrong they explain exactly what they found and how they will fix it and then of course the price is always just right. This last time I thought I had an oil leak, they took the time to put me on their schedule, checked it out completely, explained what they did and the conclusion they came to, and in this case they found no leak at all. After the mechanic took a look at it, he couldn't figure out the issue and said I would need to take it to a GM dealer. Turns out the mechanic found some wires he had no idea what they were and cut them out. These wires were part of the after market remote start that was installed by another shop. I brought this concern to the shop manager and he said they wouldn't charge us for "looking at it" but they weren't going to fix anything. We were also told that the mechanic who worked on it doesn't work for him but rather works behind the shop. So not only did I pay to tow it to the shop, I had to pay to tow it to a GM dealer to fix the mess they had made cutting the wire harnesses and then pay another $1000 to install a new remote start system all cause they were incompetent, shady and screw people over. I will give them credit for making it look like they were being nice and not charging us to look at it but really they were making sure they couldn't be held liable cause with no charge, no official service was provided and according to the shop it was taken to the mechanic who worked on it "doesn't work for them". Please do not put yourself in that position to be screwed over or taken advantage of and ripped off by OFALLON GARAGE when there are other reputable shops like AUTOTECH or LENS or LTS or MEYER AUTOMOTIVE in the area.
