I was going to bring my daughter to another local orthodontist when a friend of mine told me to look into Dr Rucker's orthodontics system and showed me a brochure, I didn't hesitate. I also had braces myself using the rubber bands, and I didn't like it. Back then the colored rubber band may looked cool but if Dr Rucker system was available back then I would go for it, no doubt. As we walked in his office, we felt very comfortable already, the staff were friendly, professional and good with my daughter. Alana the coordinator was very honest and straight forward. When I learned about their contracted rate was different from my quote, she immediately changed the calculation and my payment plan. She did not give me a hard time. Dr Rucker himself was very nice and accommodating. He answered all my questions, explained pros and cons about pulling permanent teeth, he never made me feel "stupid" with my question no medical terminology, his explanation was very simple and precise that even my daughter understood and got her approval right away. And mind you, Dr Rucker would even answer the office phone when his staff were busy. The bottom line, my daughter likes this office very much, even after a few hours after having her braces put on, despite the soreness she could still afford to smile she was just ver happy with the whole process. I can actually say that I am glad that I waited an extra year to get braces put on my son because had I had it done the first time we were advised to, we wouldn't have gotten to meet Dr. Rucker. He was referred to us by my son's dentist and got to meet him for a consultation. JT, my son was very comfortable with Dr Rucker and everything that he told him about what to expect. My son was so excited, he was actually counting down the days until his appointment to get them on. He wasn't even bummed out about some of his favorite foods that he might not be able to enjoy for a little while. Dr Rucker is very friendly and has a way of putting his patients, and their parents, at ease. We know what to expect from the treatment plan and he stands behind his product, his work, and his staff. I'm amazed at how much my son's teeth have responded so far and it's been less than 2 months since he's gotten them on. The staff is warm and friendly, making my son feel right at home in the office. They're very open to working with you on getting you scheduled when it's convenient for you, not them. I have no billing questions at all but if I did, I know who to go to for the answers. I will have to deal w/ my insurance carrier on some issues but I'm confident that the staff will help me clear this up ASAP with the appropriate paperwork they're requesting. Dr. Rucker is amazing as is his staff! I took my 9 and 11 yr olds in for a free consultation in their beautiful new office. They use state of the art technology and tools. I was impressed by how they thought through every detail of their office, from the iPad check in system that the kids do themselves, to the incredible digital x-ray that they display on a large screen monitor in their consultation room so you can see exactly what Dr. Rucker is talking about and really understand what the treatment plan will be for your child. We had both kids in braces within a week of each other. The appliances Dr. Rucker uses are the best and most current technology. The Damen System braces are excellent, no ties or rubber bands on the brackets, no pallet expander, no night time head gear, and no large uncomfortable bands around the teeth! A bonus is they only come in to the office every 10 weeks instead of the every 4 weeks for other types of braces. Dr. Rucker also gives each child a SoniCare Tooth Brush with a head made specifically for braces. These are crucial for their dental health while in braces. Our family is so happy we were recommended to Dr. Rucker by our Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Brian Smith who is right downstairs! I am a 55 year old woman who had braces on for 4 years (40 years ago). About a year ago, I noticed my teeth were shifting, albeit with no cosmetic consequence. Recently, I noticed my bite was a bit off and the shifting had worsened. The health of my teeth is very important to me. I wanted to see an orthodontist for a consultation to discuss this shifting and any potential consequences I might face down the road. I was referred to Dr. Rucker by my dental hygienist. From the first call, to the consultation, to the application of braces (which happened today), I have been highly impressed. As a professional flutist, I had concerns about the impact this would have on my playing. The staff and Dr. Rucker spent a great deal of time with me discussing what would the best option for me. Our oldest daughter came to the point where she needed an orthodontist, and after some careful research, I decided to give Dr. Rucker's office a call based on the information online. We scheduled our initial consult and I sent my husband and daughter. The staff promptly greeted the two, took a quick x-Ray, and then Dr. Rucker went over the procedure and options. My husband was so pleased, he scheduled the procedure before even discussing it with me! On the day of the procedure, I took my 4 year old with my eldest and I. Having a younger child can certainly be difficult in these circumstances, but the office was equipped to help out parents as they have a small room with the tools to keep the kids entertained. Everything went smoothly from the minute we stepped in to the moment we left. After having the procedure, we have had many parents and children mention Dr. Rucker as their orthodontist. Great Experience! We were referred to Dr. Rucker by our dentist, and also by a friend. After our consultation, I felt completely confident about going forward with braces for our 11 year old son. Dr. Rucker was extremely thorough and personable, making my son COMFORTABLE....which was extremely important to us. Come day of braces, we were in and out in no time..our son left smiling ear to ear! Dr. Rucker once again was friendly, laid back and caring. It's obvious that he has kids of his own :) Rosie was very helpful, explaining how to care for his new braces....and our treatment coordinator Alana was more than helpful, making the process EASY! So happy our dentist recommended Dr. Rucker. Not only is the office very warm, inviting and child friendly so is the staff. My son has a very small mouth contributing to major overcrowding. We had a consult over a year ago with 2 other Orthodontists who recommended extractions and jaw expanders. Needless to say we didn't feel comfortable continuing especially since he was only 9. I went in for a consult with Dr. Rucker because my son began to experience more difficulties that results from his overcrowding. He provided clear explanations and reasons for some of the respiratory issues my son was experiencing. Happy to say the treatment Dr. Rucker will be providing will not require extractions and expanders! It is not a treatment that has been made available to us from previous consults. After some research online I decided to pick Rucker Orthodontics for my 12 year olds braces, and I'm so happy I did. The location is right off the freeway and parking is no problem. When you walk in the office you feel like your at a spa, they even have a play room suitable for any age child along with complimentary water bottles We were greeted with smiles by a friendly and efficient staff, and hardly waited to be seen. When we saw the Dr I was just as pleased. He was informative and took time to really explain his plan for my daughters teeth (she had very crooked teeth, was misaligned and an overbite). This office uses the Damen braces and I'm very happy with them so far, as well as my daughter. We are family of 5 living on 1 income so the price was a scary thought. Dr. Rucker is an excellent orthodontist and an all around good guy. We went to him because of a flier in the mail, and we're so glad we did! His office is by far the best looking office in Temecula! - It's clean, well organized, and beautifully designed. They're using current technology - Everything in there is Brand Spankin' New! They even have a little play room for your other kids to hang in while you or your child is getting work done. The staff is kind and courteous. They discuss payment ahead of time, give you clear numbers, and go over everything with you. Also, Dr.Rucker is a man who stands by his word. My son had a consultation at Rucker Orthodontist yesterday just to look into getting braces, after going to other orthodontist offices in the area we felt Rucker was the perfect fit. We were so pleased with the goals that were set for our son's orthodontic care that we left that visit with braces. That meant that even though they had their last appointment of the day come and go and potentially could have gone home for the day, they squeezed us in because they knew how edited we were to get started. My oldest daughter first saw Dr. Rucker after we moved to CA from IN. She lost her retainer during the move and we went here for her replacement, where they gave her the best fitting retainer she ever had. The price for the replacement was very reasonable. When it came time for my youngest to be in braces we went a few places for an evaluation and estimate and decided to return to Dr. Rucker. We felt she would get the best care for the best price, and the office seemed extremely accommodating in terms of scheduling her on her "early release" day from school, so her school schedule would not need to be interrupted. I just got my braces on today about like 20 minutes ago. Dr. Rucker's staff is amazing! It literally only took like 45 minutes to get my braces on.
