Kelly was wonderful with my dog Gus. He was a nervous wreck when we arrived. Something to do with parking lots triggering him. She was able to calm him down and gain his trust. When I returned to pick him up he was fine. And she did such a great job cleaning him up and making him look good. Definitely recommended. read more

Rucci's Pet Grooming - Gus looking dapper with his pink bow tie! - Pet Groomers Near Me - San Rafael, California

Kelly Lee at Rucci's is super sweet and gentle with the dogs she grooms. Our Bella is high anxiety and only Kelly really gets that. She is so talented, too! Our stinky little princess gets a full treatment, with wash + grooming (short fur during foxtail season) + nail trim for a super reasonable price. All this plus a different cute bow every time. She looks and smells wonderful when done. We text Kelly to make appts and she texts us when Bella is done. She takes credit cards. Anyway, give it a try if you want a reassuring, mellow grooming experience for your pup. read more

Kelly was very loving and gentle with my nervous dog. She just trimmed the nails, but she did a good job. Scheduling was easy too, via text. I'll be back again! read more

Kelly at Rucci's is the best! I have a 6lb toy poodle who she grooms every other month and she does a great job and I feel so safe leaving my little guy with her. She also communicates well and is easy to schedule appointments with! She's a great groomer of little dogs which can be tricky due to their size! read more

My dog is always treated well here and comes out looking gorgeous- and so much happier. And the little bows she puts on her collar is the perfect finishing touch. read more

I still love Rucci's!! She is amazing and my dogs love her and she does a great job at the best price in all of Marin. Thank you!! read more

My baby looks great, smells great & feels great! His first time at Rucci's & he was calm when I picked him up which makes me happy. I use to take time to petco but he seemed super anxious at drop off & at pick up time. We were ready for a change & I'm glad I found this place. This will definitely be our go to spot! Highly recommend it if your looking for a great grooming salon. Our pets deserve the best service! Thanks! read more

Kelly does awesome with my anxious 14 year old yorkie! He is difficult to handle around the face, and gets a lot of goop and matting around his eyes. She returns him to me looking like a puppy again each time. Thanks Kelly! read more

Kelly is the best. She does such a wonderful and professional job grooming. My T-cup poodle, Taffy, just passed last month so my experience with Kelly was almost 15 years. I know how well she loves the pets that she grooms and makes you and your pet feel special. Kelly will be missed by me read more

Rucci is very friendly. My dog can be a little feisty, no issues with bringing her back in the future. I just get a very simple summer cut, kind of like a buzz cut for a boy but my little girl was pretty happy with her new look. I found her price reasonable and was able to get in quickly. I'd go back. read more

I use to go to petco for my dog haircut until one day he can home traumatized.. I found Rucci and 3 years later I REALLY love it! My dog is very happy and she always treats my dog like her own. I will totally recommend this place ! read more

Kelli is the best! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my chihuahuas. She has endless patience and loves them as her own. I've been using her services for over 10 years read more

I called three times to make an appointment to take my dog in to get his nails clipped. I got voicemail each time, so I decided to put the dog in the car and just stop by. When I got there, I stuck my head in the door and asked if the woman had time to do my bulldog's nails or whether I should make an appointment. She told me she only grooms small dogs. That would have been nice to know ahead of time, or at least it should be made part of the recording when you call to get voicemail. So if you have anything other than a tiny dog, this isn't the place for you. read more

I used to always go to Kelly for my little dog, and I was always very pleased with her work. However, my pup would always come back traumatized, and a long walk was always needed to calm him down after a session or else he'd start having stomach issues from stressing out so much. I thought it was just my dog. However, we moved because her work started to become a little more choppy, and at our new groomers, the pup doesn't want to leave when he's finished! Not sure if something happened or just he likes it better but I thought I'd just mention that. read more

Kelly was great! She did a wonderful cut, bath and nail trim on my chorkie who is finicky. She is warm and accomodating. Will definitely be a returning customer! read more

I couldn't be happier after picking up my 12 year old "puppy" from Rucci's. Kellie did a wonderful job with her. My dog used to be very scared when I dropped her off at other groomers. When she sees Kellie, she goes in without shaking and comes out looking happy and very well groomed. read more

Our lil shih tzu received a great cut today at Rucci's. The owner was also very nice and caring towards him, which made me feel instantly comfortable leaving him there. The cut was the best he's ever had! Thank you Rucci's! read more

Kellie Lee is awesome and has taken care of grooming Jasmine, my Miniature Schnauzer, for 9 years. Jasmine loves to go see Kellie and is always excited when we go! She is always groomed perfectly so and very happy. Kellie has particular hours set as provided in her answering machine message. Kellie Lee loves her clients pups and takes great pride and care with them. read more

Another strong recommendation for Kelly. She adores our two very small toy poodles and it shows in her work. Three times now, our "boyz" have finished their time with her relaxed and looking and smelling amazing. Rucci's is a low key and low cost operation but don't be fooled - Kelly is very professional and great at what she does. read more

Our Shih Tzu puppies just got their first ever grooming with Kelly and most importantly they seemed happy and calm when we picked them up. And of course their haircuts were perfect! Thank you Kelly. read more

Bad customer service. I was recommended by a friend and Kelly just ignored it. After many tentative to talk to her, leaving messages, she told me to call the next day because she was busy. Called next day, left 2 messages and she never returned. Apparently she does not need new clients as she never bother to call me back. So rude and unprofessional! Never call that place again and would not recommend to anyone. read more

I've gone to Kelly for around 8 years. She is the BEST. She really cares about your animals. This isn't a place where you drop off your dog and pick it up in :30. She usually has my miniature schnauzer for 4 hours. My dog had been to a number of recommended groomers and was always a bit nervous, particularly after one groomer nicked his ear. Once we found Kelly, he goes to no one else. He is happy to see her and she really spends some time with your dog. Also, you'll see that she always has the most beautiful dogs there. Her prices are also very reasonable. Though my dog is over 13, people constantly stop me and think that he's a young dog and ask me where he was groomed. One of my favorite businesses in Marin! read more

We couldn't be happier with Rucci's. Unlike other quality dog groomers in the area, we can get an appointment with Kelly, the one and only groomer, within a reasonable period of time. We've taken all three of our small (7 to 13 pound dogs) there. Our dog Charlie was very neurotic and had a hard time being groomed, but he always emerged from Kelly's skilled hands looking exquisite and happy. We love Kelly and the only reason that i hesitate in writing this review praising her is that she might become too popular and we might have to wait longer for an appointment. read more

Kelly is simply the best. I've been taking our Lhasa Apsos, Milo, since he was 1 year old. It's been 7 years since our first visit and I've been bringing him in ever since, every few months. I've moved to Petaluma, but still make the trek to San Rafael/Terra Linda because she is so great with him. Milo gets excited when he sees Kelly and knows that he will be treated well. When I pick him up, he is ALWAYS in such a good mood around her, jumping and running around. His hair always looks great, smells great, and his paws are always so well groomed. My daughter really likes and trusts Kelly too. She is soft spoken with him and loves Milo up. She remembers your pets and is always very accommodating. I have tried 3 other groomers in my new local area when I cannot find the time to make it down to SR. Each time, I have been so let down at my experience. I wont do it anymore. Rucci's is it for us. I am not sure why there are a couple of 'less than stellar' reviews here. Trust me, Kelly nails it every time. I'll recommend Rucci's to anyone and everyone. Thank you Kelly, we love your work ! read more

Kelly is the best. We have a 7 year old poodle mix with high anxiety and she's never liked going to the groomers. However, she loves Kelly and is always happy to see her. Our pup also has sensitive skin and eye issues and she always comes back to us perfectly cut and trimmed with no problems. Kelly really cares for all of her four legged clients, and is also very consistent in her work and is great to work with. So glad that we found her! read more
