I have to admit that I was absolutely shocked by a recent meal I had at Ruby Tuesdays in Niceville. This really wouldn't be my normal pick for a place for dinner. But other family members wanted to go there, so I went along with them. Burgers are very good as well, although they don't compare to the burgers at Tucker Dukes (2 miles away) and the One-20 (less than 1 mile away). I ordered the black pepper and asiago sirloin, and it was absolutely fantastic--quite literally the best steak I've ever had anywhere in the city of Niceville. I like the fact that Ruby Tuesdays is one of the few restaurants in the area that offers a discount to military (with ID). They are also good about supporting local non-profits, like the Boy Scouts. And frankly, that means a lot to me. read more

The waitresses are a bit overly enthusiastic but they have great food. Amazing salad bar, but a bit pricey.

The is the most disgusting restaurant I have been to in the niceville area, the service sucked and the salad bar had rotting vegetables and the waitress Diana was rude slow and took away plates as we were eating off them. The manager comped our dinner but please people stay away unless you want to ruin a good meal with yelling from the kitchen, piss poor service, and inedible food (unless you enjoy the taste of charcoal). read more

My wife and I traveled About 40 miles to try this place out. The ambiance is quint, a little dated but very clean, quiet and welcoming. We were quickly seated and waited on. We each ordered the half rack of babybacks. She had the asparagus and a salid from the bar which was loaded with fresh everything. She was excited.. I had the steamed broccoli and dirty rice. This time tried the cajun ribeye steak. I ordered it medium rare but it came out medium well. Not very tender or flavorful. I should have stuck with a burger instead. The garden bar and friendly server were the the best parts of the visit. read more

I've been here twice on my stay in Niceville. Great service both times. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly, both servers I had did a great job. I had the soup and salad bar the first time and thought it was wonderful! Great selection and the croutons are awesome:-) They must make them in house. The second time I had a bacon cheeseburger which was delicious and cooked as I ordered. Always say "yes" to the biscuits too, they are very tasty:-) I'll be here a few more days and I'm sure I'll be back:-) read more

I have to say that the people working here were very friendly and welcoming, for that I had to give at least one star. But the food? ABYSMAL. A new chef is needed STAT. It's such a shame because the restaurant is nice, clean, nice staff. But the food here is terrible. read more

This Ruby Tuesday is great. We always ask for Cathy. She always remembers our past orders and all of our favorites. She is the best. The food tastes great. I highly recommend the "California Chicken Primavera Pasta" and the top shelf margarita withe grand marnier. read more

The service was great and food was good but they changed their green beans. They used to have delicious fresh green beans and now they have these cut green beans that look like they came out of a can from Walmart. It also has bacon in it so beware if you don't eat bacon. My waitress was super sweet and let me exchange the sad excuse of green beans for broccoli. It wasn't much better but my salmon and mashed potatoes were excellent. The pumpkin cheesecake is back in season and it is just as good as ever. Overall a good meal but I'm so sad that they got rid of their fresh green beans for this awful canned green bean mess. Had to walk around servers in the bar area to sit down as they were oblivious to me. Beer tasted like line hadn't been cleaned out. I ordered a burger which was small 1/3 lb. and just a frozen patty. I expected better for a restaurant like this. The fries were the same. Very underwhelming. I would only go back to one if no other option available. read more

I came into the restraunt to order a to-go order. The Hostess, Cassie saw me waiting, but she did not greet me. She turned back around and ran off. Then another girl came up to the front, looked at me, than ran away at all. I was sitting at the front door for atleast 4 minutes before being greeted. The Hostess and I have personal issues, but if you are on the clock, you can still greet the customer. If not, get someone else to assist me in a timely manner. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to our bartender. This young lady smiled through all of the rude demands of the party that i was with(none of which I'd ever gone to a restaurant with) like a champ. She was sweet until the bitter end. Even after my people broke out coupons... yes. ..coupons, at 10:30 at night. She honored them with a smile even though they were shoving half empty plates in her face. This young lady deserves a promotion. Such patience. I didn't catch her name. Short brown hair and always smiling, i think newer ,hadn't seen her before. Man is this a place confused about their position in the restaurant world or what??..had not been in one of these restaurants probably since the days I still thought Enron Stock was a good Investment; until I ended up here by default recently...I remembered it being a appetizer..salad..sandwich..burger type place...well no more..now they are pushing 15 to 20 dollar chicken..ribs..steaks..seafood dinners with still a lot of burger options, but no sandwiches to be found on the menu at all...all the burger options are north of 10 dollars as well..I was a little thrown by The Outback and Longhorn Type Menu and pricing at a place like Ruby's which is a little too casual and informal to be attempting this type strategy...we both ended ordering up some "Prime" Pretzel Burgers that at 11 bucks were way overpriced for what we got...I would much rather have the burgers down the road at Tucker Dukes.. server was pleasant and quick enough; but the constant upselling on drinks and desserts just reminded me how obnoxious this practice is at these mammoth chain type operations.. I did have to laugh when I noticed that even with their new upscale menu and pricing they still had The Salad Bar by the front door...It made me wonder if they still have a Bank of Pay Phones by the bathroom and if the piped in music was being played on an 8 Track Player from the office...I guess corporate has not gotten the message that most people find salad bars gross these days and there's a reason why places like Western Sizzlin and Quincy's no longer exist...I have got to admit though I did not think I would ever see a Salad Bar again so it keeps me optimistic that maybe one day I will see a game of Lawn Darts again!!..in the words of The Rolling Stones.."Goodbye Ruby Tuesday..Who could hang a name on you?"..well Mick and Keith I'll try these four names for starters..shitty..overpriced...confused..and outdated...won't be back for another 15 years read more

My family and I came to eat at the Ruby Tuesdays in Niceville FL 6/14/2018 @ 630ish. We all ordered waters and my husband and brother ordered the salad bar and I ordered a steak. My husband and brother were out of water for 20 minutes and i asked two female waitresses to please get them some water since brock our waiter hadn't been to our table since we ordered. He didnt give us any refills, didn't bring out my food, didnt ask if my steak was cooked correctly, and didnt even come to our table until the two females went to get him. When it was time to pay the check he was sure to bring that though. I requested to use Samsung pay on my phone and he tried to do it but another waitress said they couldn't do it. But we have before at that location so we used our card. My husband left a $0 tip because to us the guy did nothing to deserve a tip. When we made it out to our vehicle we were parked in front of where our table was. Brock S was standing at our table running his mouth throwing his hands up, pointing at the check, and staring at us. That is completely unacceptable behavior for a professional at a business. I don't believe he's cut out for waiting tables. read more

This location USED to have good food. We ordered 6 months ago and had a few issues, chalked it up to maybe a bad night. We ordered last night and decided we won't be going again for a while. We ordered the curbside service and were not pleased. My steak, while cooked perfectly had way too much pepper (my mouth burned for 30 min after I ate). Two of us ordered loaded baked potatoes - they were both way over-cooked. The bacon bits with mine were so hard I had to throw them away. We had to ask for the complimentary biscuits as the server had not put any in the bag and my daughter's pasta was burnt. I don't know if management has changed or what has happened but this location is no longer worth going to. read more

i will be speaking with someone at corporate about other issues from last nights visit.however,i will share this. i am in the service industry,i enjoy it.that said,i tend to be generous to people who take the time to give me basic service.our server did not even attempt at minimal attention.our first interaction was good.soon after another table was taken by another group of 3 directly in front of us.i feel our group was discarded by our server at that point.other staff were friendly & attentive as they brought our apps & entree.seems it may be 50/50 odds at this location.HOWEVER,check you have clean cups/plates/silver BEFORE you start using them lest you be told you have the ability to bake it on yourself.lol,even if it isn't food you have at your table.shame,shame.too,too many other options to chance this location again.especially with the other issues not staff related. read more
