I'm a carnivore, boyfriend is a vegan. Ruby Tuesday's offers next to NOTHING for vegans. Not even the SOUP on the vegan menu is vegan. The server came by to inform us the VEGAN soup was made with a meat based broth. Ummm what??? Server/bartender informed us she was going to double check and never came back. While the garden bar is a nice option it's not substantial. It's not that hard to offer a vegan patty option for a burger or a quinoa bowl on the menu using ingredients ALREADY on the menu. read more

Well we did it again, got lured in by the special that was anything but special. I'm not trying to complain about everything but it was super bright and really cold. People were bundled up. Service was outstanding. We started off with the Mozzarella sticks, 6 fresh from the freezer sticks w/marinara for a whopping $9.99! They were good, had a buttery flavor and stretchy cheese but for the price you could make about 30 of them at home. The 6oz. Ribeye w/baked potato for $9.99 Fri-Sun seemed like really good deal. Buyer beware, don't be fooled by the picture, It look's nothing like that when it arrives to your table. Wish I'd taken a picture. It didn't even look like a steak. It was tan in color, looked like a filet of chicken breast about 1/4 inch thick and no flavor. Had to use A1 to actually enjoy it. Baked potato was great with butter and sour cream. I rarely post a review but this needs saying. The other evening I decided to accompany a couple and use the buy one get one coupon. I had a very pleasant meal at the restaurant - some sort of chicken dish that was good. I ordered a Cobb salad to go. I asked that the dressing he put on the side. When I arrived at home, I put the takeout container into the refrigerator and was looking forward to a wonderful lunch the next day. I love Cobb Salad !Was I surprised when I opened the container. I found something that was a salad but not a Cobb salad. It did have chicken, it did have wilted & browned slimy lettuce, It did have some tiny diced tomatoes. The rest of the identifiable ingredients were interesting - tiny pieces of red pepper, corn kernels, green peas, something that looked like bacon but had no taste. No egg, no blue cheese. There was a container of barbecue sauce, a container of another type of brown sauce, but no salad dressing! I had requested Blue Cheese dressing. It was beyond disappointing...... I gave this 2 stars because the restaurant meal was OK. Don't think I'll ever get another to go meal - if I even go back! There are too many reliable choices nearby. They should let us "singles" get a 1/2 price meal instead of making us choose a take out leftover! I guess that's what you get when you get something for "free". read more

There is a definite smell when you walk in and the tile in the entry and bar is slippery, greasy like. I don't know why they don't steam clean the tile and carpet. It would do a lot for ambiance. The food and service has been great on both visits, however my last visit has made me lose my appetite for their salad bar. I understand dogs are allowed in the restaurant under certain conditions, but they must be at the table and not near food prep or serving areas, however a woman was permitted to repeatedly bring her dog through the salad bar line, and we are not talking Chihuahua, it was a very large dog. Ordered the half-rack baby back ribs via DoorDash. They were the worst ribs I've ever been served. They were tough, dry, and had to be chewed off the bone. Normally I like RT since all the location in TPA closed we made a special trip to this location and were sadly disappointed. We arrived at 6pm and when we asked for two items we were told we are out and will not be making any more for the night. You are open till 10pm we are there at prime dining time and you are out?!? What gives? Garden Bar was not fully stocked :( said it wasn't going to be replenished. We won't be coming back to this location and not sure I we even will give RT another try. Went to dinner with my family and friends this evening here and it was pretty good for a chain! Our waitress was awesome she can have five stars any day of the week from me she was great and the service was fantastic! The manager came around to check how everything was which I love when owners/managers are involved and working it shows they Really do care! I had the chicken tortilla soup- wasn't a huge fan but it was ok ! I also ordered the Carolina chicken salad and I was happy they let me substitute for just spinach and not lettuce so that made the experience even better for me! The salad was huge and so good! There was tons of toppings and lots of chicken! Everyone had something Different and everyone seemed to clear their plate so with that I assume it was tasty! My dad mentioned quite a few times that his steak was awesome and even better then the one he had the other week from a steak house so I know he enjoyed his meal tonight! I was also a fan of the fact that they had "new" to their menu angry orchard cider :) yum! Took my Dad out to dinner tonight to Ruby Tuesday's. We have not been there in quite a while and I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. Happy to report that our experience was perfect tonight! We were seated immediately and our waiter could not have been more attentive. He was very friendly and professional. We both ordered seafood selections and they were cooked perfectly. I had the New Orleans seafood with dirty rice and grilled zucchini. The dirty rice was delicious! I also had the garden bar and everything was clean, fresh, and the salad I put together was very enjoyable. I noticed that the restaurant no longer served the little biscuits, but to tell the truth, we didn't really miss them. I imagine the kitchen might run a whole lot more efficiently now that the cooks don't have to keep pumping out biscuits all night. We went to the Ruby Tuesday tonight. We had the special which is two meals for $24.95 Which includes the salad bar and and dessert to share. Dylan was our waiter and he was top-notch. I definitely enjoyed the mango iced tea, with little chopped up mangoes floating on the bottom. Nice touch! I had the ribs and my husband had the tilapia. They were both delicious. My husband would've liked a little bigger piece on the tilapia. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. The manager came around to all the tables twice while we were there to make sure we were satisfied. The reason why we enjoyed this Ruby Tuesday is because the salad bar is excellent. (Rare thing nowadays) We asked what they recommended and well they just made us want to order everything. They brought us these small muffins and OMG they were sooooo good! Better than that place that serves fish. We ordered the New Orleans platter and the chicken Poratabella. OMG !!!! My daughter and I was going to share our platters to experience two different meals, however it was so good we only would offer up a bite. It was spot on moist, flavorful and fulling. I enjoyed every minute, every bite. I am disappointed that they don't have more signage to show where there located since there hidden behind a bank, Lowe's and another shopping center. There were all kinds of empty tables in the dining room, but the hostess placed us in the bar area. Mushy spaghetti squash , marinara sauce tasted like the store bought kind , zucchini was inconsistently cooked . Another dish came with all mushy zucchini. Family went here for dinner. Was very clean, well lit, and very friendly staff. Our waitress Jennifer was so cute and friendly. Our drinks were cold, didn't get appetizers this time. I even ordered a Margarita for myself that was the best I've had in a while. Dad ordered the Asiago steak with green beans and his usual fries. Our son had the Grilled cheese with grapes. We were 4 who dined here last night. The service was a 4.0. Given the number of customers, it was reasonable. I am never that fond of sitting too close to the washrooms so I would have preferred a better choice of table since there were others available. The buffet at RT is always very good and it did not disappoint yesterday. I and my wife had Bourbon Burger and we really enjoyed them. They were prepared exactly as ordered except mine came without a bun. Since neither I nor my wife rarely but half of the bun we told the server to forget it - we would share my wife's. In fact I did not even eat that. The fries were a disappointment and brought down my rating. Way too salty. My friend's wife felt the same way about her fries. Our dinner companions were satisfied with their meals. I had serious doubts about the Caesar Chicken Salad one had ordered - way too much dressing on it for me. Mental note to self for next time - salad dressing on the side if ordering that option AND if ordering fries ask that these not be salted in the kitchen ( I am sure my ankles swelled up later in the evening). Worst experience ever! Granddaughters Graduatuation as RN. We raved about Ruby Tuesdays to the family & friends to go there to celebrate. We hadn't been there in maybe a year but convinced everyone, grat salad bar great food & service & drinks! WRONG! WORSE SERVICE EVER! You would think a large table would get service! NOT! Had to search and ask for our waitress twice. We had to wait a long time for appetizers, had two rounds of drinks before they came out. We were told that they were backed up with TO GO ORDERS! Then after an hour & 20 min still no food! Waitress got the manager who took her time coming! There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, most left shortly after we got there! Manager said I'll check and your appetizer will be compensated. WHOOPEE!
