What an enjoyable dinner we had sitting in the bar area. Our server was Cassie and she makes one killer of a margarita. She was friendly and funny. My aunt enjoyed the joking back and forth. Five stars for Cassie. I had the salad bar which was good and had plenty of choices. The best part was the potato salad. You must try it. I would like to suggest since you are in the deep south that you put dry rice in the salt to keep it from sticking together and not pouring out. The wife and I stop in at this Location about every two weeks, normally on a friday eve. after wife gets off work. We have always had very good service. So not really sure where some of the reviews are coming from. The Wife and I both enjoy the Bourbon chicken dinners. The Burgers are also very good! We also normally get the salad bar with our meals. Everything on salad bar is kept fresh, Only issue there is when other people make a mess or put salad dressing ladles back into the wrong dressing. Yuck. But people will be people, they some times only care that they got their salad and the heck with others, Cant really blame the staff for that. Am I saying that this Ruby Tuesday is as good as some fancy place as New York or Paris, no that's not what I'm saying. I'm sane. But as far as other Ruby Tuesday's are concerned this one gets the gold star. To delve further in, when you go to a chain restaurant, such as, Ruby Tuesday the goal of the chain to give you a reliable and repeatable experience. This location absolutely nails that. The main draw to the Ruby Tuesday, the salad bar, (which considering its geographical location that is absolutely shocking) is always clean and well stocked. I'm pretty sure there is a rule in place that if any of the ingredients to the salad bar get below 3/4 full a public caning will take place because they always keep the salad bar full. The salad bar is also very clean. The service is always quick and polite. The food is good. If you got something you liked there before then it will taste the exact same upon your return. Location, this restaurant was on point. It is directly across the street from our hotel. The parking lot is quite large and it also shares a lot with a hotel and Taco Bell. Inside the restaurant is really dark and narrow. A few of the servers said it seemed smoky inside, but I couldn't pick up on anything. When we walked in there was surprisingly no wait for 11 people. That was great. Our server was Sarah. We loved her accent. We learned her sister lives about 20 minutes from me in my home town. So we thought was quite interesting and made for great small talk throughout our time. Sarah, did a great job managing our table of 11. We have 5 adults, 1 teenager & 5 kids (13, 11, 9, 5, & 2). She was very patient and understanding with the kids and there ever changing minds. She explained that you can add the salad bar as a SIDE for $1.99 or as an addition for $3.99. My husband LOVES salad bars - he would of loved this one. There is something for everyone and regardless of the time (9:00pm) they kept it stocked full of fresh ingredients. So I walked into the restaurant with a group of eight other guys. There were only eight seats at the bar, which they all took. I sat down at a small table in the bar area and overheard the bartender, verbally complaining out loud to another employee that I sat down at her table. She stated out loud, for everyone in the bar area to hear, "why do people keep sitting at my tables". I guess even paying customers aren't allowed to sit at tables in the bar area. This was a highly disappointing visit. We started out ignored for at least 10 minutes when we entered the restaurant. (They only gave her 1 chicken breast, and not 2 that the meal calls for.) My medium steak was very good, but the tater tots (they had no baked potatoes) seemed to have been over fried in old oil. My roasted corn was horrible. I asked for mashed potatoes to replace both. Skillet cookie and carrot cake desserts were both good. They were comped without me saying a word. This is the absolute worst place to eat. Do not go their. Not only are their portions ridiculous for the price but it would Be justified if they had a single redeeming quality, like customer service, clean and comfortable atmosphere... We went to the the restaurant on this last visit on a Monday evening at 6:45 and there is literally one other could there who looked very frustrated and agitated (later we found out they had been waiting for their food for over 40 min and the waitress hadn't been to there table in over 20min) it was completely deserted the staff lounging about in corners even the manager was posted up talking about cars with his chef. We basically sat ourself no one broke from their lounging to greet us, including said manager, and after being seated waited 5 min to have drinks taken and 10 for them to be delivered. Needless to say we gave up and left right then, we wouldn't end up like that poor elderly couple. I'm serious every time we go there we have the same issues, crap food, high price and the absolute worst customer service.
