Said they be able to handle 11 in five minutes walked across street waiting 15 to get seated then 10 to place drink order then 20 asked to speak with manager just to get last of the 3 drinks ( 2 raspberry teas and a kids fruity sprite) now finally got drinks and placed order another 30 minutes goes by and another customer started in with us about treatment of the waitresses that was her favorite got very heated we paid for what we got at the point and Left the restaurant and salad bar was nice looking but service and overall experience was the worst I've seen read more

Stopped here while driving from FL to NC in heavy rain. Figured a quick salad would work. I could have rated lower, however I think this location could be so much better with a few changes. Once seated, I realized the table was still dirty from a previous guest. There were food smudges all over. The silverware was dirty as well. Odered the triple play. Told the waitress I wanted Mac n cheese and grilled shrimp instead of fried shrimp and fries. She said okay. Then when food arrived it wasn't what I ordered. Told the server this isn't what I ordered, she said that the triple play comes with fries and fries shrimp. I did eat it. But I didn't know the cook/ server can just serve me food I didn't request and then when I mentioned it she didn't seem to be concerned. Everything else we ordered was good. But when I go to a restaurant I don't want someone else ordering for me or tell me the can't modify a request. That defeat the purpose of having side options on a menu. My mother eats at Ruby's a lot they modify her side options. The last time I ate at this establishment my order was modified for me. So why not this time? read more

It started as soon as my husband & I walked into the doors of Ruby Tuesday. The guy that is supposed to greet you when you walk in & then seat you when available. They were a little busy but what restaurant has never been. He had a very bad attitude from the moment we walked in, I guess he was upset that he had to work. He told us that we could not be seated at the moment, the kitchen had to "catch up". My husband asked if we could sit at the bar and have a drink while we wait and his exact words were "like I said, the kitchen is trying to catch up". So we did not go to the bar area but the next couple that walked in, just took it upon their selves to just sit at the bar without asking and he said NOTHING to them. We arrived @ 6:30pm, did not get a table until 7pm. We did not get finished with our dinner until around 9pm. 3 and 1/2 hours! OMG!! Someone NEEDS to take a look at this restaurant and employees!! Serving not so hot food & the inside smells like dirty dog water and the floors are sooooo sticky! YUCK! We will NEVER eat there again, $111.73 DOWN THE DRAIN! Interesting place. Walked in around 6 pm to be greeted by no one so we sat at the bar. Bartender was pleasant after she showed up. Instead of being told up front that the draft beer was not available (not cold for some mechanical reason), she waited to inform us after we ordered. So we went for a bottled choice only to be told she had none. We went for our third choice, which was delivered from the kitchen cool, not cold. I learned later that the carbonation was not working so they had no soft drinks to offer customers either. I learned this because a server had complained to the bartender who offered "to smooth it over" with the table. The bartender talked (begged) a fellow employee into walking to the restaurant next door to get her a soda. Why not just buy a couple of 12-packs from the grocery to serve your customers! The salad bar was tasty with several fresh options and the wings were tender. They were small though and overpriced in my opinion. After dinner both my husband and I used the restrooms to see dead bugs on the floor. He said the men's room floor was sticky and dirty. A local commented that the same bug had been lying on the floor for a week. After I glanced into the kitchen, I second guessed myself on choosing to eat there. There were used towels on a prep table and dropped food on the floor. I then looked at the bar to see dirty towels next to the cash register and a gaping hole in the suspended ceiling. I thought franchise restaurants were held to a standard by the licensee but that must not be the case. This is my third visit to a RT that was not up to par. When trying to cash out, the bartender had disappeared again. After cashing out, we were offered no receipt with the total and she was unable to provide one. The customer service is here is terrible. We walked in to be seated. We were not greeted. Workers walked past us, didn't even glance our way while they walked out of the building. Workers in the bar area clearly made eye contact with me and said nothing. We ended up walking out with no one even talking to us. read more

Went to douglas ga location for dinner around 545pm Tues Feb 13 we were sealed quickly and beverages brought 3 of us ordered the salad bar and 3 menu items. Several items on the salad bar were out and we requested someone fill it which took a while but was done after we finished our salad it was an hour long wait for our meals. My wife's chicken pasta good but my friends chicken was over cooked and dry. My Philly cheese sandwich was hot but bun was not toasted and was raw doe and French fries were cold. Totally unacceptable. A couple of years ago we stopped patronizing this location for the poor service and sub par food. It will be a long time before we come back. The waitress was very good and seemed frustrated because of the poor food and wait time. read more

I cannot say enough about how hospitable and great the staff here is. My husband and I were traveling and after a 5 hour drive checked into a local hotel around 9:45 pm. We had not eaten dinner and saw the Ruby Tuesday up the street. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:57 pm. The first employee said they were closing and we could not eat because we were so late. As we turned to leave Theresa came up and said "no please sit." We were so surprised we said we will order something quick. She insisted we could order anything and it was her pleasure to help us. She showed us to our seat and immediately took our drink order (glad she recommended the pink sangria because it was awesome). Our food and drinks arrived and everything was very good. No skimping or leftover old stuff because everything was freshly prepared. I cannot thank Theresa and the staff for a wonderful experience at the end of a long work and travel day. I have been here multiple times and it has always been good; except tonight. The hostess was very nice and we were seated quickly. The end of the table we were seated at was broken and covered with the table cloth. The waitress got our orders and myself and the 5 people with me were out of drinks for at least 10 minutes. I had a steak and of all the times I've eaten here, it's never been tough; but I could barely chew it tonight. My sister and her friend ordered the fried shrimp and it was almost burnt and was almost all bread. My cousin got the chicken sandwich and it was hard and looked over cooked. My sister asked for tartar sauce and then we didn't see the waitress for another 10 minutes. She came back and my cousin asked for ketchup and my sisters sauce that she asked for. She replied, "What sauce?" And shook her head. We told her the tartar sauce and she rolled her eyes. She brought back packets of tartar sauce and a cup of ketchup. We got the check and left. I have never been disappointed at this Ruby Tuesday and we probably will never be back unless management changes a few things. I love Ruby Tuesday..and I come to this one a few times a year. But it has gone quite down hill over some time now. My server was nice-took a bit to get seen though. Arrived during lunch time and it was not busy. The salad bar was well off with options and ok on freshness. The entrees came out in a timely manner. I decided to try something new- smokehouse sliders lunch combo. My bottom bun was drenched in BBQ sauces and very soggy. My burger was dry. However my friends New Orleans seafood was tasty (thank goodness)- one of the signature dishes at Ruby's. My server was very apologetic about food but of course it isn't her fault. Lastly I decided to take a final risk and order the "chocolate fall cake" because it is my absolute favorite dessert from Ruby Tuesday. Thankfully it didn't disappoint! I would've been so sad. **if you've never been, you really should try this dessert. It's been around for at least 20 years, but it has been reinvented with the same ingredients. Still very tasty. This place doesn't really even deserve one star, but the waitress was really nice. I've been here once before and they really just don't have it together here, but it's really the only place in the back woods of GA to eat that has a healthy alternative like a salad bar. Went in and we were sat at a broken booth. The seat back moved back and forth depending on who had the most weight pressed on it. We decided to not play that game and move to a table. Service was so slow that I thought we'd die of thirst. It took forever to get our drinks. I went to the salad bar while everyone was waiting for their food that came out in pieces. The salad bar was emtpy. The trays the veggies sat on were metal sitting in ice so the last pieces were frozen to the bottom. When they finally thawed out they were predictably soggy. No one once refilled this sad, empty salad bar. The one they went ahead and charged me $9 for. They sell a burger (fully loaded) and fry combo for that price. I was starving. No croutons, no extra little salads, frozen, limp mushrooms and cucumber. It was disgusting. We finally got our food and everyone else's was okay. The app we got (the combo) had these weird fries with weird melted cheese and bacon maybe? It was NOT worth the almost $12. Bottom line: bad service, bad salad bar, just bad. I stopped in for dinner tonight, and I was so glad they still have their salad bar open. The change is that they bring you the salad plate and you have to wear gloves when preparing the salad. It was great as usual, and the dry rub ribs were great also. read more

So hit and miss. The food is standard chain food...the service has really high highs but more often really low lows. I think the staff assumes since they are THE chain restaurant in town, they don't have to care...and 9ntimes out of 10, they don't. Granted, they were open thanksgiving day.....however, we got here and waited 15 minutes for a seat. Finally got seated with few people in the place. Upon ordering, the waiter stated they were out of several things....I started ordering, and the waiter stated they were out of everything I tried ordering. All 4 of us finally found something we wanted. 15 minutes later, the waiter came out and said they were out of everything that everyone ordered. She brought out a List of 4 meats that they had...ribs, salmon, and one of the type steaks. She followed with a list of 4 sides they had left. This is terrible terrible management. With few dinner dining options in the area other than fast food, it's a shame this restaurant isn't better. There was two of us, we were told a 15 minute wait or free seating at the bar. we chose to sit at a high top at the bar. was not even served or given menus 15-20 minutes later until i personally got up to ask for a server. She even noticed and apologized for the burnt biscuits saying she didn't make them... she didn't know how but yet still did not take them back to exchange them or serve a fresh well baked batch. Spinach Dio appetizer took about another 10-15 minutes... with our food being served 10 minutes later after the appitizer. Not one refill was given. Steak was over cooked and broccoli was not cooked long enough with no seasoning. Service and food was awful. bad service made us late to a movie. I have always loved Ruby Tuesday. I politely called the server over and the only thing she had to say was sorry. Then when we received our food everyone received theirs except my daughter, who received hers 10-15 minutes after everyone else. NO apologizes or anything.
