Tonight 6/23/2021 my boyfriend and I stopped in for a bite to eat. Food was good but the service was AMAZING! Worst ever experience. Was asked by the server' what do want', food came and was cold when Manager delivered it. Manager brought fresh fries almost 10 minutes later. Server came asked if everything was tasting good. When I told her the burger had onions and pickles on it. I was told was in the menu. She was outright rude. She was too busy talking with a friend at another table to be bothered with us or her 3 other tables for that matter. She was rude to them as well. First off, One star and that is an absolute gift because they won't let me put a zero for a rating. The absolute worst restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. The service sucked and the waitress could care less about her job. The corporate office for Ruby Tuesday took down the window shades so the sun was in our eyes for our meal. We were not the only ones with sun in our eyes. I am amazed they are still open, I have seen cleaner public restrooms. I think everything on the menu is soaked in a vat of salt before it is cooked. My aunt had to have her steak sent back twice because it was not cooked properly, the first time it was charburned, the second time it was as pink as roadkill. Oh and by the way she waited 23 minutes to get her food to her and we waited so she could try to eat. What they call steak is probably chuck meat from the same beef plant that fast food chains buy from. I cannot tell you how much my stomach hurt after eating at this fine family restaurant(oops that's Applebee's that is the fine family restaurant and way better food). Welp. Let's just say, I've had a lot better. This is my first time eating here, and I was expecting something GREAT. No. Yes, there were a lot of cars parked in the lot, so we all expected 'Oh, they must be good'. We go inside and got seated. 30 minutes later, finally got our drinks, 2 hours later got our food, wasn't even good either. I had Chicken parmesan dinner with a salad. Dining and drink orders are handled efficiently. While no longer exceptional, food quality is acceptable but somewhat pricey considering quantity and quality. Dining experience is less than pleasant because tables are close together in sections of restaurant casing diners to be squeezed against table and some must rise from their chair so adjoining diners can be seated or leave seat. Our table assignment was in a congested area even though restaurant was not crowded. Manager was not apologetic or did not seem to be concerned when this was brought to her attention. My husband and I stopped in with two friends. Service was incredibly slow, but we were not in a great hurry. Finally received our lunches. Our friends had ordered a pasta dish and had no problem. However, my husband and I both ordered the ceaser salad with fried chicken. The chicken is already sliced and placed atop the salad. I thought something looked strange and pulled the chicken apart a bit more. The chicken under the fried coating was raw! I told my husband to check his before eating. Same thing, raw. I am not saying slightly undercooked in the middle. The whole piece was inedible. I got the waitresses attention and told her our meals were raw. She gave a half-hearted apology and took the plates back to the kitchen. (I realize she is not the cook.) Normally you would expect the manager to come and apologize, or offer a discount on your meal or something - but nothing. When the meals were delivered a second time they were correct. When we went to pay (by credit card at the table) we inserted our card, waitress did her thing and gave us a receipt. Our friends go to pay their bill, and the waitress walked away as they were inserting their card. We had to wait for waitress to return to bar area and drink some liquid before I could get her attention to come finish our friends transaction. I have never left a 1 star review before but unfortunately that's what my latest visit was. As a group of 4 we decided to pair off and do the "Dinner for 2 for $24.99". 2 of us ordered the petit sirloin with mashed potatoes. Upon receiving the food and tasting the mashed potatoes, it became VERY apparent that they were instant mash potatoes without any seasoning what so ever. Trying to make the best of it we tried adding salt and pepper and were going to add butter. Unfortunately our server did not come back for 40 minutes after dropping the food off. Once he did come back, the first thing he said was "what's for dessert" and not even asking if we needed anything. Even after the butter eventually came, the potatoes were an awful consistency and could not hold any sort of flavor. I have never gotten instant potatoes from a restaurant before and I hope I never do again. I will not be returning after the poor service and even poorer food. read more

As soon as I walked in and was seated along with my family an ice cream truck came up through the parking lot ringing it's music, all the staff immediately dropped what they were doing and ran out side. Moments later they returned all of them with ice cream cones and proceeded to sit around while they enjoyed that sweet cool treat. All of the guests could not believe what was happening. Everyone there is so friendly. The bathroom was so clean. And the food well I can't say enough about the food. We had the ribs and the salmon. RUN AWAY QUICKLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am so disappointed at the service of Ruby Tuesday of Crossville. The Friday before labor day I had date night with my boyfriend. We seldom see each other so this is a very special time for us to meet up, grab a bite, and relax. I chose Ruby Tuesday of Crossville and he picked up the bill. The waitress came back to the table to return the credit card after processing the bill. She had at least three of the book type holders containing credit cards in her hands, and after opening one stated she left the card at the register. While shuffling the little books with cards, my boyfriend noticed his card in one of the ones she had with her, only because it was a distinctive color. He showed her which was his card and she stated "shit" quickly in a whisper type voice and then stated she would be right back, taking the bill and card back with her. She then did the same thing with a gentleman at the table beside us, however, I did not hear her curse, just state she would be right back as she did with us. Nervous my boyfriend had just paid for someone else, he checked his banking account online when he returned home. He was indeed charged for two transactions. He called and was assured the unauthorized charges would be refunded to his account. Three calls later, one of which he was treated very rudely, he has still not been refunded. I feel horrible and embarrassed. He did not really want to eat here, but I wanted to go. Not only did they charge him for someone else but was also very rude when it was their mistake. On Sunday, July 14th, 2019 at 6:40 PM, I started calling the Ruby Tuesday in Crossville, TN at (931) 456-8132 in hopes of placing an order to go. The first gentlemen that answered the phone said he would transfer me to the bartender. Well, I was on hold for at least 5 minutes and no one picked up the phone. I hung up and called back. The same guy answered and I explained to him that the bartender never did pick up the phone and I needed to place an order. He said that he would get someone to take my order and placed me on hold again. After another 5 minutes or being on hold, no one picked up the phone. I hung up and called back for the third time. This time a lady answered. I explained to her that I was trying to place an order to go and that I had called twice earlier and no one took my order. She said that she would get someone to take my order. She too placed me on order and after another 5 minutes no one picked up the phone. I called back a 4th time and asked who the manager was. I was told it was Chris. This is the worst service I have ever seen in a restaurant. Why advertise carryout if you're not going to have anyone take your order. The only reason the Ruby Tuesday is still in operation in Crossville is because there's no competition. read more
