DIRTY!!!!! The waitress was nice but the restaurant and bathrooms were filthy Our food was mediocre. Not worth the money or trip!!!!

We go to Ruby Tuesday for the salad bar and will always patron when we are visiting a town that has one. Today was a disaster! Ordered salmon which was served rare, sent it back, got second one rare too. The manager apologized for the 1st messed up salmon and discounted 15%. When the waiter returned and I told him the 2nd one was the same he told the manager but she did not even come back to the table. He was able to get the meal taken off the bill. He did a good job given the situation. My husbands ribeye steak had no seasoning and tasted very bland even after adding salt and pepper. This certainly did not seem like a $50 dinner. No wonder these restaurants are closing down everywhere. Very disappointed. read more

Driving from Florida to Chicago, I spent one night in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Hungry after 10 hours of driving, I went to Ruby Tuesday. Sadly, they were understaffed (as are all restaurants right now) ... But, that did not stop Manager Troy Anderson from making my visit a great one! He was short on waitstaff, a bartender and he was doubling as chef! He finished preparing the meals for all orders, took off his apron and came out to greet all the customers. He expressed concern for the quality of the food, enjoyment of the evening and in general, how everyone was doing. I was eating alone and he took the time to chat with me and we talked about the staffing situation, his newness as a manager and his dedication to community service during his offhours. He made the evening truly nice for me. And, the food was good and at a reasonable price. Ruby Tuesday, you have a winner in Troy Anderson - keep him and reward him for his dedication! Best service we've ever had at Ruby Tuesday. Brad B was friendly, attentive, and neither ignored us or hovered. He had the perfect balance truly great waiters have. We had the salad bar, a classic burger, and the ribs. Salad bar was fresh, classic burger was juicy, and the ribs were absolutely fall off the bone. They must have had a change in staffing and/or management because this experience was a complete 180 from previous ones. We had in fact quit coming for a year or more. Ordered ribs and chicken tenders and a $4 beer. The ribs tasted boiled. The chicken tenders were excellent. The ribs had bacon top. U can't go wrong with bacon. Even though the ribs were tender I just don't like it when they're boiled. read more

Good service. Friendly and fast staff. Salad bar is significantly smaller than other RT's I've visited in the past. Not sure if this is because this particular restaurant is smaller than other locations, or if it is due to corporate cutbacks. Had a chicken and bacon entree. Mostly forgettable, not good, not bad. Let's start off, when we walked in the hostess seemed confused, maybe just new. The guy says he was going to see which table was clean and then when we got to the table that was suppose to be "clean" it WASNT! We looked over the menu and then got asked if we was ready to order. We went at 1pm for the salad bar. The ice berg lettuce was brown and wilted. Other lettuce was ok. The floor around our table and other tables was so dirty. There was a huge piece of broccoli on it, too! We watched multiple waiters make multiple passes, as well as the manager, and no one cleaned it up. The ladies restroom was totally out of toilet paper. I will say servers were nice and did a good job. But poor food quality, dirty floor, and restroom issues means we won't go back. read more

We visited the day after Christmas in the early afternoon, which might have explained some of the staffing issues with the location. It took forever to get our waitress to come take our order, their dishwashers were having trouble keeping clean plates at the salad bar and we had to use styrofoam cups for a while, and it also took forever to get our food, refills, and the check. All that stuff I can excuse during a holiday rush, but when I saw that the girl restocking the salad bar use poor food safety/handling methods, I knew that there had to be more going on. She used tongs from a dish on the salad bar to pick up stray bits of food and put them on a plate she was taking away, and then replaced those tongs back in the bowl of peas where they came from. Ever hear of cross-contamination? YUCK! Also, it looked like they remodeled the place, but the tablecloths were still old, fraying on the outside, and kind of gross to eat from. We spent 2 hours there when we needed to get in and out and back on the road. My wife put it best: we would obviously never visit that Ruby Tuesday again because we were travelling, but the whole experience turned us away from the chain for good. read more

Great place! We sat at the bar and had some good wine and two fabulous appetizers-- Asian dumping and lobster MAC 'n Cheese. The bartenders were very good and we had some good conversations about everything under the sun. The only negative was the price of the mac 'n cheese appetizer. (otherwise would be 4 stars) BTW the Italian Crime Pie was very good also. Good place to stop as you can walk from the motel we stayed in. read more

This had to be up there on my worst dining experiences list. Ordered a cheeseburger medium well and fries. The burger was served well done and resembled a hockey puck. The fries were so salty I couldn't eat them. And then there was the trip to the ladies room. On my walk to the restroom it smelled like I was in a nursing home. And once in the restroom, it smelled like a sewer on a 100 degree day. I hadn't been to a Ruby Tuesday in years and I'd say the food quality has definitely gone downhill. read more

We eat here about once a week the ribs and pork chops are amazing and reasonable. I would even go out on a limb to say that it's some of the best in BG. I don't know who the cool is but they can make some ribs. The steak are chicken also is very tasty. The salad bar is fresh and the mashed potatoes are delicious as well. My grandson and I went there Saturday night. The bill came to $47 ... for what we got they should be ashamed of themselves. If you are going to charge top dollar for your food you better be able to back it up. We had a shrimp appetizer .. cost $10 dollars. It was awful.. frozen breaded shrimp,with a sauce poured over it. The salad bar which I paid an extra $1.48 with my entree was nothing to get excited about.. the basics, cici pizza offer pretty much the same things. My grandson ordered the ribs he said they were alright but could have used more sauce. I ordered the grill shrimp, $15.99 for 9 shrimp, that were small, tough, rubbery and were only slightly warm. The high light of the my meal was the baked potato .. and grandson said the French fries were good. I will never go back. I am very surprised this place only has 3.5 stars. I have been here a few times now while visiting family and I have never had better food for the price that they have. The ribs are amazing, and the hickory bourbon glazed pork chop is to die for. It was about 2" thick and I was able to cut it with a fork it was so tender. Also, to add the cherry to the top; the beer on draft is as cold as it comes! Very satisfied!!!! read more

My sister ordered a steak, medium, and it came with blood flooding the plate. She asked if she could get it more well done, then gave her a new plate with the beans and the steak was mostly fat and had a hair on the plate. I ordered a burger with no onions, lettuce or tomatoes, and it came to me with all of the things I specifically asked for it not to have. The burger was incredibly greasy and almost immediately made me sick. After ten minutes in the bathroom, I decided to write this review. read more
