Pick 2 - Spicy Grilled Chicken and Spicy Thai Chicken
    Jada C.

I low key love this place!! I frequent a location closer to my home and love it. I was so happy to see this business at the food court within Wheaton Mall. So good!! I bought the Pick 2 w Spicy Chicken and Bangkok Shimp w SingaporeNoodles. It was so tasty, fresh and fulfilling. Hubby scooped the Pick 2 w Spicy Chicken and Grilled Chicken w Rice. We enjoyed the speedy and pleasant service received as well as the super reasonable price and fresh quality food. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

One of the better food court meals I've had in a long time. That's reason for extra half star. Had the shrimp pad Thai which I watched cooked to order in a wok in front of me. They even asked what spice level I wanted. So I got medium spice and my nose is running... but my tastebuds and tummy are happy. It's hard to see in the photo but there are tons of scallions and onions and a fried egg along with bean sprouts, celery etc. They also make noodle soups and fried rice to order plus they have Singapore rice noodles (if you like curry) "in the line" of usual mango chicken , and others...

    Pretty tasty

I was simply hungry & discovered this place while walking the mall & awaiting for traffic to die down. I was able to sample the mango chicken & I was hooked. I'm not big on food court food. But this establishment appeared clean and had a nice little selection of "Americanized Thai" food....I guess. Service was friendly and quick. I ended up getting the mango chicken, steamed veggies and Thai noodles. It was very good!

Before they opened. Thats Me. I did a lot of the tile work there.

very bad quality food. Rice was so hard, tofu was rubbery. I waste my moneys. I don't recommend this place. I'm not going anymore there.

Amina Thai - Drunken noodle with chicken

Getting into this lot is a bit tricky or at least it was for me since I was not familiar with this location. I had only been to the Silver Spring location. There is parking. My food was not spicy as I had requested. There are different levels and since it was my first time, I chose the almost spiciest level. It could have been hotter for me. I ended up having to add my own pepper at home! The flavors were good. the portion size was fair. I won't say it was the best Thai I've had. I would possibly give them another try, but won't go out of my way.

I made an online order through their website and got the pad see-ew (beef-mild) $14.95, pad Thai (chicken-mild) $14.95, and the mango red curry (chicken-medium) $15.95. - The pad see-ew was really good and is easily in the top 2 for best pad see-ew I've had. - The pad Thai was a new experience for me as it was my first EVER experience trying it but it was just alright (thought it would've been better). Also the chicken portions were significantly less than I expected. - The mango red curry was a dish I had HIGH expectations for but it fell flat. The "mango curry" taste and flavor were underwhelming even with the addition of the mango peices. Overall, this spot has some pretty decent Thai. The pad see-ew is THE highlight and the other 2 dishes could've been better. If you're in the area searching for Thai then this is a solid spot for your Thai cravings.

The restaurant is small and humble, more similar to a cafe style than full service. There was a server taking our order and bringing the food to us, but we grabbed our own waters and paid at the counter. RICE PLATTER (3 ITEMS) - 15.75 + rendang, grilled chicken, sweet & spicy anchovies and peanut Not a whole lot of "items" but an overwhelming amount of rice. The beef rendang was a bit oily, but flavorful and tender. The grilled chicken was incredibly dry and unappetizing. I loved the sweet & spicy anchovies and peanut, which was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Overall, disappointed with the lack of protein. In this economy, the pricing was relative affordable with most entrees under $20. My friend got the NASI KUNING, which was only a few bucks more than my rice platter, but it had a lot more food and variety. The turmeric rice was fragrant, like a spiced jasmine-flavored rice. The rice chips she didn't want (that I helped eat) were great.

We tried the chive cakes, pad thai, and papaya salad. Great portions that all tasted good! Especially the chive cakes as they weren't too greasy and the papaya salad which was really refreshing. Went on Yelp looking for a Thai place for lunch with a lunch special. Here we are…read more All the lunch specials come with a cup of soup (tom yum with chicken), a salad or a veggie gyoza. We each had the soup, which was seasoned well and had mushrooms and tender chicken. A decent soup. Not the best I've had, but good, and impressive as an accompaniment with the $12.95 lunch special. Several people in the restaurant had salads in front of them - the salads all looked good and were a nice size, with lettuce and carrot. I got the green curry with veggies. I was impressed by the amount and variety of veggies - green and red pepper, mushrooms, carrots and broccoli. The green curry sauce was spicy, but not overpowering. The rice that came with it was steamed white rice (which I'm thinking was over steamed, because it seemed to have absorbed a lot of water and was really boring). Unfortunately, the curry sauce, which was good, couldn't overcome the boringness of the rice. So instead of mixing the curry sauce in with the rice and eating it, I left about half the rice. It might make sense to opt for the brown rice, although it costs extra and might have the same issue depending on how it's prepared. My partner got the Pad La Pow with pork. They said it was very good, but not spicy as advertised. (It's advertised as having two stars of spiciness - the most on the menu). I'll try the place again. The soup was decent with a good amount of chicken, and the green curry was good with lots of veggies. Although I'll probably try something different to avoid the bland rice. The place is very nice inside. The server was excellent. We were seated next to a group where one of the individuals spoke very loudly, and the server came over discretely and asked if we'd like to move, which we did. And his service for the rest of the meal was very attentive (i drink a lot of water, and I judge a lot of service by how many times my water glass gets refilled - great job today) and friendly. The price point for the lunch special - $12.95, is excellent.
