I found this one last second with about a half an hour before closing 11 minutes away from us. So we sped off get there in time. When we got there and walked through the little pink door, it was the cutest little shop. So my friend is visiting from Scotland and we wanted to get some kind of necklace or piece of jewelry that matched. They have a great selection. We opted for some lava rock bracelets that help with communication, truth, and strength. I grabbed a little shot glass that said North Carolina on it because I have to have a trinket from every trip I make. When we were checking out, she said that somebody wanted to donate a basket to somebody that they had bought and wasn't gonna pick up so we ended up getting a free basket from Krystal! That was the sweetest thing. We were like two little school girls opening it up and dividing all of the little snacks inside. So thank you for making the end of our trip wonderful!!

Amazing service and products!…read more Our company always gets gift baskets for our customers for Christmas. We've used a popular online company for years, but this year, they messed up our order and we had to scramble to find a plan B! After doing some research we found Gingham & Posh. We loved how we could design the gift boxes with the colors of our company logo. The staff was great to work with and finished our boxes in a great time frame, even with the Christmas rush! We ended up going with the NC boxes. We've received many compliments from our customers of how much they loved their gifts. We loved how we were supporting a local business with Gingham & Posh, as well as supporting the businesses represented within the boxes. We're so glad our Plan A didn't work out this year. From now on, Gingham & Posh will be our go to for gift baskets!

Deco Raleigh is located in Downtown Raleigh on Salisbury Street. The iconic neon sign caught my…read moreattention and drew me in after a walking tour of Raleigh. The store opened back in 2012 and moved to its current larger spot in 2018. At the time, it was the only place downtown to buy a card and a gift. The building was once the NC State Bar's headquarters. Parking is on the street or at a nearby garage, so it can be somewhat challenging. Did you know that Pam Blondin, the owner, campaigned and built Raleigh's first parklet, and she commissioned the city's first sidewalk mural? She is a true pioneer of downtown's public culture. Deco Raleigh is an upscale gift shop with curated gifts. I thought the store was a good size and bigger than it appeared from the street. But the aisles were a little narrow in places. The store carries work from over 100 North Carolinian artisans. Inside, there is pottery, artwork, jewelry, textiles, apparel, home decor, puzzles, books, cards, and other unique finds. The store carries the "Raleigh" and "North Carolina" themed items. You'll also find some gourmet food items. The custom wrapping station makes things so convenient. It is the ideal place to browse and find a thoughtful gift for someone, or just buy something for yourself. The store design is warm, welcoming, and a total visual treat to explore. I'll definitely be back!

What a great local gem!…read more We love supporting local businesses and this place has numerous local vendors - very similar to Cotton Company in downtown WF. A mix of antiques, signs, crafts, a lot of candles and a small bit of clothing. We bought a vintage magazine - fascinating to read about life in 1940. The lady who was working there was extremely helpful and friendly. There are a few buildings to go in - you'll find chalk painted furniture as well as paints, more antiques, local bbq sauces/T-shirt's, and more. Definitely a spot to grab a unique gift for someone! Prices were very reasonable, too! Conveniently located off Durant, right near the railroad tracks - a little hard to see as it's way back off the Durant but look for the big banner posted out front.

The store is a bit pricey on most things but it's a local shop that supports local artists/businesses. I bought a bar of soap for $8 which isn't crazy considering most bars of soap go for that price. The 120-year-old building had been condemned at one point, but was renovated in 2021. The building has 20-foot ceilings and exposed brick. The boutique is large at 3,500 sq feet. It sells antiques, furniture, books, coins, comic books, home accents such as lamps and decor, specialized foods, soaps, jewelry, pillows, dish towels, candles, and topiary. I'm sure I missed items. I overheard a couple mentioning that they have church pews from time to time. I left with vintage postcards and a mini metal bicycle with a chain and kickstand.
