What kind of business is not open during their stated hours? Guess we should have called to make sure they decided to go to work and open as their website noted. Even a note on the door as to why they weren't working would have been considerate.

Totes, signs, stained glass wares, some clothing, yard decor and more! The owner was re-decorating and was apologetic for the mess, but the store was lovely and I really liked the overall friendly feel. I didn't have long to browse but did buy a very cute sign to display at our home. Prices were extremely reasonable. I'll definitely return for gifts and home decor in the future.

The entrance is on the street level but stairs are required to visit the eclectic shop. They do have a webpage you can order from if stairs are an issue for you. I first found Homebody's during a Ladies Night on White as I wouldn't have stumbled onto it on my own as the entrance was in the back. But the unique items in the store were enough to bring me back. Besides the shop, in which you will find candles; stationery; clothing; baby items; items for the home; self care; and much more, they also offer workshops so you can learn some new skills. If you are in Downtown Wake Forest and looking for the perfect gift for someone make sure to stop in Homebody's.

To find that the store supports local businesses was a bonus, always try to shop local and support when I can. The issue was the 3 employees behind the counter making snide remarks about people shopping in the store and criticizing our purchases. Sorry but I don't think what I purchased was ugly. I can definitely find other places to support locally. As a business owner myself it was a bummer to not feel welcome and appreciated for spending money in the store, but glad we still purchased our items, because we think they are great.

Also they had a couple people there in person doing the business ( one did jewelry and I forgot what the other one was). The staff at the register were friendly as well. Cool little place to check out if you are in Wake Forest.

I worked with Lavish for over a year on a major remodel and would never recommend them. Jenny is nice and I love her design aesthetic but I found them disorganized, unreliable, and dishonest. They sell a good story and can't deliver. I had several items delivered that looked markedly different than the ones we had approved (so many excuses) and months of ignored emails/phone calls/texts. My kitchen and laundry room are GORGEOUS but it was not worth the headache, I am very sorry to say.
