This place is horrible, and thats a under statement. I wouldn't even let them work on my enemy's hands. My normal place was super busy so against my better judgement I came here Lord why!!! First the pedicure was so so no effort just blah . The owner began to do my nails powder was all over my hands he was laying it thick and sloppy. It looked like my 5 year old twins were doing my nails. He began to file and split the skin on my pinky blood started flowing not just the pink thumb and middle finger. I was so upset they thought I was about to pay $100 yea ok. Then one of their minions (customer) go say its a nailshop you expect to bleed or get cut EXCUSE ME!! NOT PAYING TO GET CUT dummy! This place is no longer ran by the original owners. The new people deceived everyone by saying they were only filling in because the owners were on vacation. They did this to keep the clients. Even so I gave them 2 chances. My nails looked like I did them myself and the shellac on my nails peeled off in 2 days. Not ever going back again read more

I went to this salon today for a re-polish, but Anne talked me into getting a fill-in. I told Anne to shape my nails in the coffin shape. She said, "No -- square!" She continued to perform the service anyway! I asked her to correct the filing and the polish on a couple of fingers! She starts hissing and moaning, and straight up acted rudely about correcting a small task! I will NEVER return! Ruby Nails had a bomb reputation 10 years ago and this establishment is even worse now, under new management! Small wonder there were only 3 clients this afternoon! In fact, another client asked a tech to polish her nails after she did her toes! The tech walked away ignoring this nice lady's request. SMH! read more

This place is dirty , I came in this morning for a full set and the guy was very rude and started walking away from me while I was talking because I told him I was waiting for my friend to get here so we can get sets done together , as I was sitting in the waiting area a centipede ran across the floor and floor is dirty , hair clumps on the ground , crumbs of food and dirty broken acrylic nails all over the floors it's like they don't vacuum at all and mind u this is right after they opened so it's an opening shift there should be no reason for it to be this dirty as there are no customers and they just started. This is my second trip here and after my first trip I said I wasn't impressed and wasn't coming back but I decided to give them a second chance . During my first trip here my nails came out clumpy and the acrylic layer over my nail was so thick my nails hurt a day after and had to get removed at another salon and as they removed them some of my real nails bled and broke off due to how much of the nail they shaved down before applying the acrylics. The nail tech that removed my set said she's never seen acrylics this thick and clumpy on someone in a long time. Do not go here this place is disgusting u will get sick , treated like garbage unless ur doing what they want . Horrible , very disappointed. read more

First of all the LITTLE MAN that's there has a messed up attitude. I was quoted a price of $35 and she wrote it down. NOT a pedicure acrylic on my big toes and the rest polished. I gave the tech $40 and was waiting for my change he told me $40. He argued with me for 10 minutes. He finally gave me my change and told me the next time it was gonna be $40. This place is horrible ...the ppl are rude and they can't perform a simple pedicure I had to ask her not to use dirty utensils and instead of massaging the legs and feet she scrubbed it with a hard manicure brush! I definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone not even a dog . Ok so here's the thing with this place. If you go on a Friday or Saturday expect to wait a longg time before getting in a chair. So if you can go Monday- Thur. LOL. Anyway, this place is really clean. Total contrast from the other nail shop that is nearby. They are up to date with nail trends, specialty Powders, loads of shellac and gel colors!! and loads of regular polishes. The staff is pretty friendly. Today was unfortunately the last time I will ever go to Ruby Nails. I've been a client for more than 8 years. It was absolutely the worst service that I ever received from a nail salon. I initially was very upset about everything that happened ... the unreasonably long wait (more than 3 hours!) my nails being painfully ripped off (after I asked the tech to be careful), the " I could care less if you stay or leave" attitude displayed by all of the staff today. And, to top it off the mother said, " you a big mouth" as I was sharing/showing another customer how she ripped my nails off after I asked her not to.. Then my frustration was soon replaced by empathy. This staff/family has some real ISSUES., They are ALL clearly FATIGUED! They hardly greet clients anymore as the come into the salon. The look on their faces say "Oh no not another one"...really?! The mother appears overworked and frustrated, the father does as little work as possible, the eldest daughter is often MOODY, the other 2-3 staff/daughters try hard but they are often worn down to a nub... irritated, over worked, melancholy and/ or acting like they just don't want to be there. So, my question is "should you really be in business"? I suggest you ALL give remaining in a business that works so closely with the public some serious consideration?! Ruby Nails has a large clientele, but you're going to loose it because the staff/family is coming apart at the seams! The people who patronize your business is receiving poor customer service and a lot mess we have nothing to do with simply because we want to have our nails done and you're acting like you don't want to be bothered! I know from experience that working with the public is not easy to say the least. And, we the public have our fair share of issues too, BUT THIS IS THE PROFESSION YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO GO INTO. The beautiful thing about America is "Freedom of Choice" so I choose to take my business elsewhere (I'm sure you all could care less) The other beautiful thing about America is the slavery has been abolished... If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. The customer service was horrible. Expect your acrylics to break in less than a weak. My nails were uneven and the atmosphere is horrible. I don't recommend even stepping into this place. Don't even get me started on the wait. You would have to wait atleast 25-40 minutes before they would assist in ruining your nails.
