Years ago this place used to be a great experience as a teen my family would come here, and it would be a self-serve buffet of traditional take away Chinese dishes. There was soft serve ice cream for dessert. Sadly, now it is drive-through only with only a few entrées to select from. We ordered fried rice, sweet-and-sour shrimp, and one of the specials. The fried rice is what's pictured above and I have to say that this was not the fried rice that I'm used to. It had no flavoring of sesame oil. It had no green onions or carrots. It literally just had scrambled egg in with plain rice. This is a fundamental Chinese Takeaway dish that is easy to make; so I was shocked they got it so wrong. sadly our other dishes lacked in flavor and in quality so we'll have to say goodbye to the spot.

So when my husband brought it to me, I cannot believe how tiny it was. It was in a 12 oz Styrofoam cup it wasn't even full. I mean they didn't even hardly meet the 2/3 mark. It was 6.00 out the door ! I was still in the parking lot and asked if we could just give it right back and get our money back. He said no. I was pretty bummed out because it's unpresentable. I'm embarrassed to give it to my daughter because we've had such great wonton soup in the past at other restaurants and they put it in a really nice styrofoam small bucket . But when I got home and put it in a bowl and it was nothing but broth and two tiny fried wontons and a speck of green onion and 2 mushrooms . I was livid. I don't usually write bad reviews but I wanted to warn people. Do not get the wonton soup. I took pictures . That's so wonderful I am able to add these pictures. It will 100 % percent proof of what I'm telling you. The picture of the soup is in a very small Chinese Bowl. It also had 2 pot stickers instead of wontons. One had no meat ! Such a let down.

The chow main noodles were lukewarm, the sesame chicken, which was an upcharge, wasn't very hot. There were zero tables clean, and when my wife asked for a rag, the cashier rudely said "there's a bucket by the drinks." When we looked in said sanitizer bucket, there was nothing. At all. Out of coke, cherry coke and no tea to be found. Sticky floors. Overcooked egg rolls. If there was anything to say positive, the manager on duty was working her tail off to get things squared away. As a former manager of a food establishment, I get it. Rushes happen. But what I experienced today was so far beyond that. Definite culture of status quo in that restaurant. My bad, I reviewed the wrong one, but I'm sure this location is good too! Here's my review from last year on the other location: I could tell by looking at the photos and reviews on Yelp that this place was going to be wonderful. Thankfully, when we finally gave it a shot, we were not disappointed. Talk about made fresh. Everything was so delicious and freshly prepared. Flavors were spot on. The service was fantastic. They always made sure that our drinks were filled and we had everything that we needed. My absolute favorite dish was the fried green beans with minced pork. Get it with extra minced pork and you'll love it. The steamed dumplings and pancake appetizer are also really good. Highly recommend! They also have clean restrooms with an extra large sink outside the restroom area so you can quickly wash your hands if you don't actually need to use the restroom. Pretty cool. After a 30 min wait the food came out. The sizzling pepper steak came out very hot and sizzling but it was incredibly oily. It was well seasoned, but way too oily. After we finished it, there was a puddle of oil remaining. The braised beef noodle was decent, and it was not special in any way. The restaurant was fairly clean, although the tables were packed tightly to fit the most amount of people. Our server was attentive, refilled our water frequently even though the restaurant was packed, and knew both mandarin and English. Overall I was mostly satisfied with the experience, but I would wish the food was less salty and greasy.
