I was in this store location for less then 20 seconds and had to leave. Two young girls on shift gossiping and laughing while saying inappropriate things. As the cashier says "what!! No one is in here" and her other coworker mumbles to say there is a customer in the store. Was going in to purchase because I love r& j however, they were super irritating to listen to and I will visit another location instead. Love the clothes hate to leave a bad review but the service at this location is disappointing. First off you walk in all the girls are hanging out in the back , you don't get greeted. I had a lot of stuff in my hand, but did not get offered to start a room. Then the girl at the register had the nerve to give me an attitude and didn't even say thank you or a word to me after I had purchased some stuff. SMH giving me racist vibes. read more

I went to the Oceanside boutique, the clothes are nice but the customer service is sooooooo bad. I have literally never felt so weird shopping for clothes in my life. The employees acted so snobby and made my friend and I feel super uncomfortable more than twice already, like did I not just spend close to $200 here, whats ur prob girl???? cant let ur pms get the best of u. sucks because this shop has so much potential though. went to Ruby And Jenna today with my daughter third time this summer. each and every time had the greatest sales girls. I cannot say enough about the manager Alexa and the sales girl Sam. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter found sizes and clothes that made her happy. it's really nice to have a clothing store locally that has incredible employees in this day and age. thanks again girls !! read more

When I discovered this boutique two and a half years ago I knew that it would be come my favorite store. It's the only shop where I truly enjoy shopping. Great styles that are always changing, affordable enough prices, the girls working there are always so sweet to interact with, and overall just my favorite place. I tell everyone to come here or bring them with me. all the locations are great in their own way but this one is the first for me so still my favorite. Ps. I love Ruby and Jenna! Great clothes, great prices. Definitely a lot of original and unique stuff here and they always have new stuff coming in which is great. The staff is always very friendly, warm and helpful too, which is a rarity for boutiques in this area. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the variety in sizes. Sometimes I find shirts there that I love and they only have 1 or 2 and it's in one size. Seems like they don't always carry multiples of certain items. read more

Came here to check out the huge "wear-house" sale that they were having around Valentine's Day. I don't think I'll ever step foot in here again. Nothing special, cute clothes as always but the EMPLOYEES.. dear god why do they act like such snooty little mean girls? 1. Employees literally grilled me coming in (they were not closing for a long time) no hello, no smile, & no music? = worst shopping experience. Made me feel uncomfortable just looking. 2. Please stop loudly chatting away about your dumb lives and text on your cell phones while I wait on line to try something on... WHILE NO ONE IS IN THE STORE. 3. Pathetic all around. The girls at Westbury Plaza and even in Bay Terrace (my least fav Ruby and Jenna) are better than that. Shame on you. read more

I was in the store today and the owners were in- they were extremely unprofessional.. one of them came in with curlers in their hair yet was criticizing her employees about how they were dressed, the other one was publicly reprimanding each girl to the point of one having tears in her eyes and making myself and her employees incredibly uncomfortable. I am obsessed with Ruby & Jenna. I have been to three locations. Plainview, Oceanside & Westbury. My favorite so far is Plainview. They have a larger selection of clothing. I cannot stress how much I love their selection of clothes. Terrific quality & reasonably priced. my favorite part is that once they sell out, that's it - they get all new inventory! I go every week & each time I walk out with something new. I have gotten tons of compliments on everything I buy from here. Very original. I met the owner & her daughter - SUPER friendly! The staff will help you find anything you need. My new go-to store. I really do wish there was one closer to me :( I'm in Medford & the closest one is Plainview. Let's just say I have extreme shopping anxiety. I've been here twice. The first time in December was crowded but I still got excellent customer service. I bought a really cute top that is completely out of my usual comfort zone. I went back in yesterday and the sales girls could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Definitely the best clothing boutique on Long Island. I am a big boutique shopper but Ruby and Jenna is my favorite. I've shopped at a few of their stores but the Plainview location has the best selection. Prices are mid range but fair for a boutique. read more

Went here yesterday to look for a dress for back to school. The clothes are gorgeous and of good quality, but it was very expensive.
