He instantly produced one in that range, citing a 30 day window as the reason for the discount. It seemed to me that his spreadsheet generated the new estimate to match the information I provided from the other company. Then he offered a substantial discount if I allowed PWI to take before and after photos, put a sign on my lawn, or post a review on social media. It seemed too good to be true, so I asked three times if I incurred any legal obligations or commitments by signing; he replied "no"each time. After signing, he informed me this agreement required a significant and immediate deposit. This deposit is refundable only by initiating Virginia's three day cancellation rule, which seems onerous, and obviously, includes considerable time pressure. I ripped up the agreement.

The representative was on time, personable, and clearly knowledgeable. However, after spending over two and a half hours reviewing their presentation and proposal, the quoted price came in at 70% higher than the average of four other estimates we had already received -- all from companies also vetted through Trex and with solid reputations. Even with the time-sensitive incentives (13% off for signing on the spot, plus another 7% off if they could use our project for before/after marketing), their price was still 45% higher than the others. During the presentation, the rep proudly mentioned that 93% of their customers sign immediately after the appointment. I can only assume those folks didn't get multiple quotes. To be clear, I believe Prince William Home Improvement is a solid company and would likely do a great job. I just can't justify paying 45-70% more for a project when other equally reputable companies are offering comparable quality for significantly less.

He did a quick design for me at our initial meeting and later did an official one to submit to my HOA. I spoke to half a dozen other contractors who all priced about the same for the work. What sold me was Steve's portfolio and how up front he was with everything. Not once did he try to sell my on something I didn't need or go beyond what I was asking for. We decided on a wood deck to match the majority of the homes in our HOA, and because we just like the look better. From the beginning of his crew showing up till the last piece of trash picked up they were extremely friendly and FAST!! They started on a Tuesday and finished by Friday for a 24'x16' deck that was 6' off the ground on uneven ground. Finish product was even better than the graphic design of it. Hands down 100% glad I went with PowerHouse. Even neighbors and friends have already commented on well of job they did and wished their contractor was just as good. If you have any doubts just invite Steve over for a chat and you will see for yourself your money will definitely go the length and you will not be disappointed.

They are the total package; attentive, courteous, thorough, skilled, meticulous and fast! From beginning to end our experience was a pleasurable one. The end result went above and beyond our expectations. We bought a foreclosure 12 years ago and have been steadily updating everything on the interior and exterior. Never has any of our remodel jobs gone as smoothly, nor has any exceeded our expectations the way this project did. I would hire this team again without hesitation.

I'm leaving an HONEST review here, please consider your options. This review is based on my…read moreexperience (which reflect experiences from others on here). Background: Infinite paved my driveway on 04.10.23. Infinite suggested that we do an overlay, to lay 3 inches of asphalt over my old driveway because the foundation was still good. Miles, the salesman who sold us on the job, ensured that there would be no water drainage issue. However, due to the new pavement being higher than my cement at my side door entrance, there is indeed a water issue where water and dirt is collecting with no path to flow out (photos attached). I tried reaching out to Infinite via phone calls but no one was picking up, so I had reported the issue on Yelp. MIles and team came to my home shortly after I posted the review to look at the situation. They agreed that this part of the driveway was overlooked. So, they provided me with a plan to rectify the issue (photo attached). They also asked me if I would be kind enough to remove the Yelp review. I agreed and was more than happy to remove the review since I appreciated their followup and their plan to rectify the problem. I was flexible with the timeline to fix my driveway as long as it was reasonable and Infinite would communicate with me effectively. Fast forward to today, we are now in a situation where I can't get ahold of Miles and I have no answers from Infinite. I have given them a while to get their situation together and respond to me before I came back to yelp. It's been several months (it's now July) and they haven't responded to my emails. From the screen shot you can see that Miles reads my texts but chooses to ignore me... Could someone please provide answers? As a customer who kindly removed the Yelp review and was willing to be flexible with the timeline to fix my driveway, all I want is to simply resolve the problem per the plan that MIles provided (photo attached) and to have effective communication. As a customer who kindly removed the Yelp review and was willing to be flexible with the timeline to fix my driveway, all I want is to simply resolve the problem per the plan that MIles provided (photo attached) and to have effective communication. I have a incredibly dangerous water issue, where water and dirt settlement collects at the cement in front of my door due to the driveway being higher. I had to push out the water and dirt dozens of times already and I'm not looking to have this issue in the winter when things get iced up. This is their doing. If anyone would like to discuss their quality and what went down, feel free to contact me. Heck, you can come to my driveway and view for yourself. Please be aware. I have spoken to others who experience similar situations with their customer service and quality. Infinite, if you're reading, you need to fix the problem and honor your promise. I'm tired of waiting. You've taken advantage of me and my family, and you should be accountable for your predatory tactics. If you want to be an ounce respected as a company, you should put customers first and rectify the problems you've created.

Buyer Beware! This is a scam company. I regret hiring them every time I pull into my driveway…read more Read the reviews and don't do business with Peter Hardy or any of his con-artist friends. I had a very similar experience to the rest of the folks who posted a 1-star review. Peter was soliciting in my neighborhood last spring and said he could replace my existing asphalt driveway with a larger concrete one for $5K. Red flag #1- he quoted half the price of other legitimate concrete contractors. Red flag #2- I didn't find any reviews about them. Check it out- the oldest review on Yelp right now is from Mar 2023. They must do an annual scrub of negative reviews which are likely the ones they get. I signed a contract and Peter wrote on it that no deposit was required. The evening before work was to be started, Peter texted that he needed $1K deposit and he wanted the check made out in his name. I agreed...I know, big mistake. That was Red flag #3. Red flag #4 When Peter gave me the original quote, I pointed out the lines where I wanted the new driveway to be expanded to. He said he'd come out with his crew and mark them. I saw his markers when I came home and noticed that they were quite a bit off from what we had discussed. He said it'd cost an additional $1K for "materials" to expand the driveway back to what we had originally agreed on. Red flag #5- Just like other folks have experienced, Peter's crew ripped up my driveway into a big pile of rubble and then demanded an additional $3000 to finish the job. Of course I was very upset and knew at that point that I had been scammed but the real kicker is that the driveway is crumbling and cracking 10 months after it has been installed. Peter doesn't respond to my text messages and the numbers listed on the contract aren't in service anymore. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and am posting this review in the hopes that others can save themselves from a very expensive mistake. There really was not much of a decision based on our history with Blaine. We were not disappointed. Remodeling a kitchen is much different than remodeling a bathroom - many more moving parts and design decisions. The kitchen remodel highlighted the best trait about Blaine. You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.
